Princess Charlotte's adorable nickname used by all her friends at school
Princess Charlotte has a nickname from her friends at school, while her parents also have a couple of affectionate monikers for her
It's quite common for pals to have pet names for each other, even when one of them is destined to be a monarch. Princess Charlotte, it seems, isn't always known as "Princess" in her circle. Prince William and Kate Middleton are keen on giving their 10 year old daughter a slice of normalcy despite the royal limelight.
While she's formally introduced as Charlotte Cambridge at school, her close chums affectionately call her Lottie Wales, which charmingly alludes to her parents' titles, bestowed upon them by the monarch after the Queen's death. This cutesy nickname is not just popular with her schoolmates at Lambrook School but beyond as well.
During a royal walkabout in Northern Ireland, social media influencer Laura-Ann had an encounter with Kate, bringing along her dapper two year old George.
30 year old Laura-Ann, who juggles her time as a part-time estate agent in Belfast, was excited to see Kate and Prince William at Windsor Park.
She captured the special moment on her Instagram account, divulging that while conversing with her eldest son, the Duchess casually mentioned to her: "So then she asked how old Bertie is, and I said he is four and she said, 'Oh, he's the same age as Lottie'.
" She calls her Lottie!", reports the Mirror.
Charlotte's parents affectionately call her 'Mignonette,' which means "delicate" or "cute," in French, as well as 'Warrior Princess', highlighting her "feisty" nature, Vanity Fair's Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl previously reported.
During a 2018 visit to The Range, a customer told the Daily Mail that they heard Kate urge Charlotte with the words "get up, poppet".
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also have endearing nicknames for their other children.
At Thomas's School in Battersea, Prince George is known just by his first name.
However, William and Kate are said to have affectionately shortened Prince George's title to PG, thereafter calling him "Tips", giving a playful nod to the beloved British tea brand. As for Prince Louis, some supporters once dubbed him Boss Baby due to his spirited demeanor.
Princess Charlotte celebrated her 10th birthday on Friday.
Kate and William shared a birthday snap the young royal on her iPhone earlier this year during a trip to Cumbria.

In the heartwarming photo, the princess could be seen kitted in out full hiking gear whilst out on a hill walk in the countryside as she beams at the camera.
Royal fans were quick to comment on Charlotte's striking resemblance to her father William.
The young royal was first introduced to the world on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital in Central London as Kate cradled her in her arms just hours after giving birth 10 years ago.

Lip reader reveals what cheeky Louis asked George from carriage
George, 11, with his cheeky younger brother Louis, seven, were spotted arriving for the King's birthday celebrations were seen grinning and deep in conversation as the open carriage rolled along the Mall A lip reader has revealed what Prince Louis asked his brother Prince George as the royals arrived for Trooping the Colour today. Cheers erupted from the crowds as George, 11, with his cheeky younger brother Louis, seven, were spotted arriving for the King's birthday celebrations. The two brothers were seen grinning and deep in conversation as the open carriage rolled along the Mall on a glorious sunny morning. Now, a professional reader has revealed exactly what she thinks the young pair were talking about. The expert told The Sun how Louis asks George: "Should I wave?" George then turns to his younger brother and is said to have replied: "It's up to you, I can't believe how sunny it is.' Louis then says "let's do it together" before the brothers wave to the cheering crowds, the lip reader revealed. Prince Louis showed off a major change at Trooping the Colour yesterday - but still had Prince George and Princess Charlotte to keep him on track, according to an expert. The seven-year-old who has long delighted the crowds at major royal events thanks to his cheeky personality was back again charming royal fans. And while charming spectators, body language expert Judi James believes he gave a glimpse into his potential future. She told the Mirror: "Prince Louis's body language on the balcony suggested he's grown from the playful member of the royal firm into a fully fledged plane-spotter. "He looked more focused than fidgety, watching each aircraft as they flew overhead before turning to his dad in what looked like an attempt to identify them. The avid nods from William and the smiles of pride from Kate suggested he was correct with them all, too. With a father and grandad both pilots, there are signs this might be a future career for Louis. "He is also a very confident-looking young royal too. Charles nudged him to chat and Louis was the one lingering longest to wave to the crowds, only turning to go in when Charlotte ushered him." During the balcony moment, members could be seen chatting to each other as the planes flew over the palace. Spectators in The Mall cheered as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team – the Red Arrows – flew overhead releasing colourful trails of red, white, and blue smoke. This year marks the third Trooping the Colour parade of Charles' reign. The colour – regimental flag – being trooped this year is the King's Colour of Number 7 Company Coldstream Guards, also known as the sovereign's bodyguard and which is celebrating its 375th anniversary this year.

The Chase's Paul Sinha 'hands in notice' as contestants scoop £100k prize pot
Paul was defeated by the two quizzers who won a whopping £100k between them. The Chase's Paul Sinha"hands in notice" after quizzers won £100,000. The ITV show host Bradley Walsh joked that 'The Sinnerman' needed to quit his role as a Chaser after the blunder. Brad said that the Chaser has "handed his notice in" after an "unbelievable" final round that saw the quizzers victorious. Players Ian, Jennie, Gregor and Karen all appeared on the quiz panel with the hopes of bagging some cash in the final chase. First up to take on the chaser was Ian, a magician from London, who managed to secure £6,000 in the cash builder. He managed to make it back to the team and landed himself a place in the final. Jennie then tried her luck but was unfortunately caught and was sent home. Karen then felt brave and opted for the high offer of £93,000. Fans of the show took to social media to praise her for going for the biggest amount of money. One said: "Good girl!," while a second added: "Karen didn't even stutter taking that high offer." The gamble paid off as she managed to also get into the final with Ian, which meant they had the chance to win £100,000 between them. The two players managed to answer 16 questions correctly in the final chase before Paul tried to beat them. However, Paul wasn't able to beat them as he usually would, which meant they walked away with £50,000 each. There was only one second left on the clock as Bradley said: "That was close." The Chaser then praise Ian and Karen as he added: "You absolutely deserve every penny of that." Paul then said he was disappointed with himself as he joked: "I've cost ITV £100,000 but you don't need to care about any of that." It was then that Bradley quipped: "That's a funny way to hand in your notice." Ian and Karen then spoke about how they planned to spend their winnings. Karen said she wanted to treat her son by taking him to the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix while Ian said he wanted to splash out on a brand new car. Despite the hefty defeat, it was recently revealed that The Sinnerman is the most successful Chaser. Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha boasts a 78 percent win rate across his 436 appearances on The Chase. The quiz guru's average target to beat is 19 and he holds the highest average Chaser win total, raking in £14,651, making him the most financially successful chaser on the show. Meanwhile, Mark Labbett, better known as 'The Beast' has a 76 percent win rate over 475 episodes since his start in 2009. Labbett, who was the show's inaugural Chaser, holds the record for the highest average target to beat, at 20, and the highest accuracy in the final chase, answering 83% of questions correctly.
