A ROYAL Marine guarding nuclear weapons has been grilled by counter-terror police over alleged neo-Nazi links.
Commando John Carr was interviewed last week when he flew to Scotland.

He said it was 'political bullying' as he had campaigned against women joining the Marines, which he claimed lowered physical standards.
But security sources said he was grilled over his extremist views and links to far-right groups.
Carr serves with 43 Commando, guarding the UK's Trident 2 missiles and nuclear submarines at HMNB Clyde, Faslane, in Argyll and Bute.
The Sun understands he is a member of the far-right Homeland Party — which splintered from a neo-Nazi party in 2023.
Speaking on YouTube Carr said: 'I am a member of a political party.
'I don't think it's their business or anyone's business to know what that is, but know that it isn't the main political party.
'It isn't Labour.'
Carr lost his security clearance and will work from home pending an investigation.
Police Scotland declined to comment.

Investigators are said to be set on the idea that the paedophile took the three-year-old but and are desperate to prove this before he is freed - the predator has denied any involvement. A creepy letter written by Brueckner, 48, has been revealed by The Sun in which he insists there is no proof against him. The vile note questioned whether his DNA has ever been found at the scene and whether traces of the toddler were ever discovered in his vehicle. He wrote: "Are there other traces/DNA carriers of the injured party in my possession? Photos? And, not to forget, is there a body/corpse? All no, no no." He added that the accusations against him "will not hold up and that the investigation will be dropped". The letter carried on with Brueckner claiming that the case was built on "purchased witnesses" but said he understood the German legal system well and claimed it would be unlikely for him to be locked up for her disappearance. Brueckner wrote: "Now, my path is paved with misjudgements, so to speak, but from now on the whole world is watching. Not even the Braunschweig regional court will now dare to make an obvious misjudgement." This comes just a day after the latest search was called off by investigators after the appeared to have no luck in finding evidence or clues. The operation kicked off on Tuesday, June 3, with teams scouring through more than 20 plots of land east of Praia da Luz - including a cottage Brueckner was believed to be living in around the time Madeleine vanished. The convicted paedophile had reportedly also lived in his car or camped during his time in southern Portugal. Search teams discovered animal bones and pieces of adult clothing at these sites, according to Portuguese TV reports. Police however have not shared an official statement on what could have been discovered. Diggers and ground-penetrating radars were present during the three-day search but it is unclear whether anything found will be sent to Germany for further analysis.

Brueckner had already moved out of his cottage in Praia da Luz when three-year-old Madeleine, from Rothley, Leics, arrived with parents Gerry and Kate and her two-year-old twin siblings. The seeming failure of longshot searches for any traces of Madeleine this week is the latest in a string of blows for the case. German authorities who maintain Madeleine is dead are racing to find a way to keep highly dangerous Brueckner behind bars after he was cleared of rape claims last year. He told this week he plans to 'hide' when he is released, as soon as September 17, taking hopes for the Madeleine case with him. The drifter was jailed in 2019, convicted of the 2005 rape of an American pensioner just streets from the Ocean Club, where the McCanns stayed in Praia da Luz. The Sun investigation aired on Channel 4 revealed the existence of computer hard drives which were vital in to persuading investigators of Madeleine's death. Our findings placed Breuckner at key Madeleine search location the Arades Dam, in Portugal. And a document puts him at the location — where he allegedly said 'she did not scream' as he discussed her with an associate. In the online message where he brags to another sicko that he really wanted to 'capture something small' he adds it would not matter 'if the evidence is destroyed afterwards'. James Argent's ex-girlfriend Nicoline Artursson has shared an update on her injuries after she was pushed down some stairs. The Towie star, 37, received a six-month suspended jail sentence and a two-year restraining order earlier last month after being arrested for pushing the model, 32, down a set of stairs in Spain. He pleaded guilty to 'mistreatment' after being arrested when neighbours reportedly called police after hearing screaming. In a powerful statement, Artursson has opened up about the mental and physical injuries she has endured. 'It's now been a month, I still can't believe it,' she began. She revealed that her physical injuries had now healed, but she was suffering mentally: 'My fractures on my body have finally healed, but I'm wounded inside.' The former Miss Sweden's injuries were revealed in court documents last month. A provisional prosecution indictment, drafted before the plea deal, said: 'The injured woman suffered several bruises to her neck, a bruise to her right forearm, several abrasions to her right arm, and abrasions to her right hand and on her right leg.' Confirming she received medical assistance, the prosecutor said: 'The injuries she suffered healed in seven days on skin and soft tissue.' Artursson then spoke about the night of the incident in her post: 'I was brutally thrown out of our new home in the middle of the night wearing only my pyjamas. 'I opened the door to let him in, and only minutes after I found myself laying down on the stairs outside our house. 'My clothes and my belongings being thrown out from the balcony down on me. I was injured.' She spoke about her healing journey as she said in the post: 'I am healing now. Slowly, bravely and unapologetically. I will rise.' She encouraged other women who might be in similar situations: 'To every woman reading this: If you've ever questioned your worth, your safety, or your sanity in a relationship – this is your sign. 'You deserve to feel safe. You deserved to be loved with care and integrity. You are not alone.' Public prosecutors intended to push for a nine-month prison sentence for Argent for a crime of wounding, but he was spared jail after striking a plea bargain deal. More Trending Artursson also has a two-year restraining order in place against Argent. Following the incident, court documents obtained by The Sun showed the reality TV personality had to pay Artursson just £250 in damages.
