Wade let rip during his 6-5 win over Peter Wright to reach the quarter-finals on Tuesday.
Snakebite appeared distracted when the scent hit his nose, as he had to "take a second" before throwing.
Van den Bergh, 30, is already prepared to deal with his rivals who dare to let one rip on the stage.
The Belgian ace believes the best thing to do is to try to ignore it and "breathe quicker".

He told talkSPORT: "I hate that. I make sure whatever I could do, it happened already at the toilet.
"Sometimes you've just got to accept it, at the end of the day, it's only a smell.
"Breathe quicker and it's gone."
Wade was congratulated on his victory in the Players Championship by world no.1 Luke Humphries.

Van den Bergh's comments come after he decided to step away from the PDC Pro Tour.

The Antwerp thrower made the decision in April as he wanted a mental reset.
He did make his return to the oche at the World Cup of Darts as he represented Belgium alongside Mike De Decker.
The tournament was a disaster as the pair finished behind the Philippines in the Group Stage in Frankfurt, Germany.
Van den Bergh has insisted that the time away from the oche has been beneficial to him.
He said: "Fantastic, because I was feeling really bad with myself, with my body, my mental health.
"(For) ten years I have done all the tournaments that I possibly could and I just kept pushing. I kept going forward.
"In these ten years a lot of things have happened. I'm going to be a dad in July, my second little girl is going to come to the world.
"I'm already a dad from another kid who's three-and-a-half-years-old now.
"All of that just gives you a different perspective to life and my dreams have always been to do what I love most, which is play darts and be successful at it.
"But I also wanted to have my own family and build a future, build a legacy. So these things were very important to me and I just tried to keep playing well but for some reason I was just tiptoeing at the same place.
"So I said, 'I'll take a step back, come back stronger' and that's still my goal. That's still my mission.
"I know whatever I'm doing at home with eating healthy, going to the gym, taking care of myself, practicing a lot, it's working for me. Plus, I've got extra time with the family."

Kevin De Bruyne 'held transfer talks with Liverpool' as Man City impact emerges

Kevin De Bruyne has decided to join Napoli after ending his almost decade-long stint with Manchester City and is said to have spoken to Liverpool about his future earlier this year Kevin De Bruyne had a conversation with Liverpool before committing to Napoli this summer. The midfielder's contract was left to expire by Manchester City after the playmaker played a prominent role in the club's successes under Pep Guardiola. De Bruyne signed for City almost a decade ago in then club-record deal for £55million. The Belgian had indicated that he would like to stay at the club this summer, but the team's hierarchy ultimately decided his journey would come to a closer. ‌ That left De Bruyne in a position to consider his options, and while Napoli ultimately proved persuasive, the 33-year-old had alternative discussions. A 'short conversation' occurred with Liverpool, while Juventus enquired over a move and Inter Milan were unable to find space in their squad, as per the Athletic. ‌ But the choice came down to Chicago Fire and Napoli with the Serie A side winning out. And Manchester City may have even played a role in aiding De Bruyne's decision. It is reported that De Bruyne was in-part motivated to opt for Napoli in order to prove City wrong for letting him go. The Champions League and the opportunity to play under Antonio Conte were said to be decisive factors. De Bruyne noted earlier this year that he was 'surprised but I just have to accept it' after City made their decision. The veteran told the club he still had a lot to give but never received an offer. De Bruyne's move to Napoli was announced early in June as a picture of the Belgium international alongside Napoli club president Aurelio De Laurentiis was posted. The Premier League legend included a short message to his new club: "Sono qui." That translates to 'I am here' in English. De Laurentiis also posted the photograph on his social media pages, along with the comment: "Benvenuto Kevin!" That translates into 'Welcome Kevin' in English. De Bruyne will hope to have as big an impact as Scott McTominay following his move to Napoli last summer. The Scotland international helped the club to Serie A glory and earned the accolade of being named the Italian top-flight's Player of the Year.

Snooker world champion who lost millions fails to show up for match at start of new season

Snooker world champion who lost millions fails to show up for match at start of new season The new snooker season has just started, but one significant star has began it by failing to show up for his match at the Wuhan Open qualifiers Luca Brecel's antics have cost him again (Image: George Wood, Getty Images ) Former snooker millionaire Luca Brecel failed to show up for his Wuhan Open qualifier clash against Haris Tahir. Brecel, who won the World Snooker Championship in 2023, was due to play the Pakistani star in Leicester. However, the Belgian never appeared and Tahir was given a 5-0 walkover and a spot in the main competition at the last-64 stage. ‌ The match was scheduled for 2.30pm and even had a live commentary of proceedings on the World Snooker Tour's website. Fans quickly clocked that Tahir was constantly being awarded frame after frame, as per tournament rules for late arrivals. ‌ He was eventually awarded the win and put through to the next round at the Wuhan Open, which has a first prize of £140,000. Brecel uploaded a series of pictures to his Instagram story of himself and new partner Shawney Demuyter drinking wine and eating pizza in his homeland of Belgium on Sunday. It was an unusual start to the new season for Brecel, who admitted to losing his millionaire status by spending his 2023 winnings on supercars and other lavish things. Brecel prefers to commute between his home country and tournament locations and has previously had close calls with match timings before. During the World Championship in April, he cut it fine by arriving at the Crucible just hours before his second-round match against Ding Junhui, because he opted to fly into the UK on a private jet. Article continues below Brecel also nearly missed his first-round match at the Scottish Open a few years ago. Last season, Hammad Miah was given a 5-0 walkover during Xi'an Grand Prix qualifying when Brecel didn't show up in Leicester. Luca Brecel has endured a tough couple of years (Image: Getty ) The 30-year-old was subsequently ousted from the tournament without any prize money or ranking points. He has witnessed a significant downturn in form since clinching the World Championship title two years ago. Brecel became the first player from mainland Europe to become a world champion when he stunned Mark Selby at the Crucible with an 18-15 triumph. ‌ However, the former World No. 2 has since plummeted to 39th in the global rankings and shed the £500,000 in ranking points he secured with his 2023 triumph. Earlier this year, Brecel expressed his disinterest in chasing another world championship, stating he is prioritising entertaining crowds over titles. He said: "I've not really thought about the possibility of winning a second world title. I'm not that interested in it. If it happens it happens, but if it doesn't, then it's all good. I just don't really think a lot about winning tournaments and stuff like that. Brecel's opponent was handed a walkover (Image: Getty ) Article continues below "I just like playing the game. I'm more of a Ronaldinho type of player in snooker. It's all about just entertaining and [having] fun. Also having a nice life around it, that's more important to me! So yeah, no pressure." Not long after winning the world title, Brecel revealed his lavish spending habits saw him lose his millionaire status. He burned through his chequebook by spending hundreds of thousands on a Ferrari 488, BMW M4, Range Rover Sport and even a Porsche Taycan for his partner at the time, Laura Vanoverberghe.
