Thai Actor Pond Naravit To Make Appearance At Pavilion KL On 15th May
We've got great news for fans of Thai actor Pond Naravit Lertratkosum (ปอนด์ ณราวิชญ์ เลิศรัตน์โกสุมภ์)! The actor recently confirmed his appearance in Kuala Lumpur next week at a pop-up for Versace Fragrances!
According to Pond's talent agency, GMMTV, the actor will be in town on 15th May 2025 for the Versace Fragrances Summer Pop-up event at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The event is likely open to the public, so fans can gather and meet Pond at the Bukit Bintang mall. In GMMTV's official announcement, Pond will appear at the event at 4.30pm, but the time is subject to change.
The pop-up is said to be similar to the Versace Fragrance Summer Pop-up that was held in Manila last month. As the ambassador for Versace Fragrance in Southeast Asia, Pond graced the event and drew a crowd of fans to the SM Aura Premier. According to reports, the Versace Fragrance Summer Pop-up celebrates the brand's signature scents, including the Versace Eros Energy.
For those unfamiliar with Pond, the 24-year-old is one of Thailand's most popular young actors. He's best known for his role in dramas like 'Fish Upon The Sky', 'Never Let Me Go' and 'We Are'. In January 2025, Pond was announced as the Versace Fragrance Ambassador for Southeast Asia, making him the first Thai actor to hold that position. 'The minute she walked around the corner, I felt, 'This is gonna work,'' Goggins said. 'Two minutes into the conversation, it felt like I've known this person for 100 years.' Together, they worked on creating the arc of their characters' love story, which included two sex scenes. 'We designed the whole journey, even down to the fact that Chelsea gets on Rick in the first (love) scene,' Wood said. 'Then in the last episode, it was Rick picking Chelsea up. It was so, so delicate.' In the final episode, Rick and Chelsea have an emotional reunion on the beach, then go to their hotel suite to discuss their relationship. Wood told Variety it had a 'similar feel' to the 'that's the plan' scene at at earlier breakfast, when they confirmed their love for each other. This moment in the hotel suite also involved that very 'intimate' sex scene, which Goggins said showed 'two people who were free. It was this very long, suspended moment of these two people looking at each other. It was so powerful.' After describing the scene, Variety writer Emily Longeretta said that Goggins picked up her recorder and yelled a message to Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus . Goggins said: '(Expletive) you, Mike! We want a director's cut!' Elsewhere in the interview, Goggins and Wood pointedly denied the rumour that they feuded. The rumour was in part fueled by co-star Jason Isaacs hinting to The Guardian that there had been on-set drama with 'alliances that formed and broke, romances that formed and broke, friendships that formed and broke.' Goggins and Wood told Variety there was no drama between them. 'There is no feud,' Goggins said. 'I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me. This is Goldie Hawn. This is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be.' Thai court extends detention of Eda Ezrin, husband and four others until July 6
KOTA BARU: Popular dikir barat singer Eda Ezrin, her husband, and four friends will remain in detention at Narathiwat Central Prison in Thailand until July 6. According to Apa Khabar TV, the Narathiwat Provincial Court has approved a fourth application by the prosecution to extend the appeal period concerning the group's release over charges of jointly possessing 6,059 methamphetamine pills. Eda Ezrin, whose full name is Wan Norshaheeda Azlin Wan Ismail, 30; her husband, Mohd Affendi Ahmad, 35; and their friends, Eridieka Mohd Noor, 33; Mohamad Alif Deraman, 33; Nur Aida Mamat, 33; and Zuhaira Nasrin, 26, will remain in custody during this extended period. A court spokesperson confirmed that the latest application was submitted on May 30. "This marks the fourth time the court has approved an extension for the prosecution to file an appeal since the group was acquitted on March 6. "Under Thai law, prosecutors are allowed up to four extensions to file an appeal," the spokesperson said. Earlier reports stated that the group was acquitted after a three-day hearing on Feb 11, 13 and 14. The court found them not guilty of jointly possessing methamphetamine pills with intent to sell. However, they continued to be held in custody after prosecutors were granted additional time to decide on filing an appeal.
