It's Official: McDonald's Snack Wraps Are Making a Long-Awaited Return to Menus This Summer
Much like your first love, you never forget a discontinued fast food item. (For instance, not a day goes by that I don't long for the warm embrace of a Spicy Chicken Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell—RIP, friend.) The most collectively missed menu staple, though, is no doubt the McDonald's Snack Wrap. If you're one of the thousands of people who petitioned for its resurrection, you're in luck: McDonald's just announced that they're making a comeback this summer.
The fast food chain shared a no-frills screenshot of a post from the McDonald's X account to Instagram that reads 'snack wrap 07.10.2025' this morning. The caption was simple too: 'got emotional typing this. snack wrap is back 07.10.25.'
Snack Wraps initially hit menus in 2006. After a ten-year reign, they were pulled from most U.S. stores. While their permanent (yes, permanent!) return is undeniably exciting for the masses, the selection is a bit different this time. Formerly, they were available with crispy or grilled chicken and either ranch or honey mustard dressing. Now, they'll only come crispy—with one McCrispy Strip, to be exact—and with spicy or ranch dressing. They'll still have shredded lettuce, shredded cheese and a flour tortilla like they did before.
McDonald's
I had the pleasure of tasting the new-and-improved McCrispy Strips in April when they launched, so I can vouch for the chicken in the new wraps. I was kind of shocked by how juicy and tender the meat was, especially since I had them delivered. As for the breading, it was very crisp and well-seasoned. It wasn't excessively salty, and it was slightly oniony and black pepper-forward.
I was a crispy ranch Snack Wrap girl back in the day, so I can't wait to taste it again on July 10. I'm excited to try the spicy iteration too, made with the same habanero-kissed sauce that comes on the Spicy McCrispy chicken sandwich.
Now, if only they'd bring back my beloved strawberry sundae…

Sneaky French Goose Makes Off With McDonald's Meal Like It's the Ultimate Prize
Sneaky French Goose Makes Off With McDonald's Meal Like It's the Ultimate Prize originally appeared on PetHelpful. Whether they care to admit it or not, just about everyone loves fast food. So, is it really any surprise that this is also true of our animal counterparts? Not really. And even in a place like France, which is renowned for its world-class fine dining culture, people, and as you will see in this video, animals, are not above enjoying the simple pleasures of a meal from American fast food titan McDonald's. However, we think that the French goose in this video more than just 'enjoys' McDonald's. Otherwise, why would he bother to steal someone's McDonald's meal and then try to get away with it like he just stole a Mega Millions winning lotto ticket? As this bizarre, and quite frankly, hilarious video shows, McDonald's is hard to resist. Deep in the suburbs of northern Paris, a man, Calvin Moreau, was just trying to enjoy his happy meal when he started recording a goose waddling towards him to seemingly investigate what was in his McDonald's to this video's comments section, Mr. Moreau attempted to talk to the bird in French as he grew suspicious that the bird had nefarious intentions regarding the contents of his McDonald's bag. According to the video, Mr. Moreau told the thieving bird, 'Stop that. Just because you're bigger doesn't mean you're smarter!' The next thing the Frenchmen knew, the bird had taken off with the paper McDonald's bag wrapped around their neck. This video had many people wondering: Can birds eat French fries? It's a good question. After all, these salty, delicious snacks are a favorite of many people all over the world. And a lot of people do enjoy feeding birds. So, why not give them French fries? Obviously, it's easy to give a bird a French fry, and it's just as easy for them to scarf it down. But is it actually good for them? The truth is, yes and no. French fries are not toxic to birds per se because they are mainly composed of carbohydrates and do contain some vitamins and minerals. However, French fries, especially McDonald's French fries, contain a lot of sodium and preservatives, which are detrimental to many animals', including birds, digestive systems. As such, if you see a bird approaching your bag of McDonald's, you should keep it away from them at all costs. Looking for more PetHelpful updates? Follow us on YouTube for more entertaining videos. McDonald's reveals official date for fan favorite Snack Wrap launch
Many popular chicken chains thought they had gotten ahead of the McDonald's Snack Wrap rerelease by launching their own, but none compare to the original's fame. The McDonald's Snack Wrap was introduced nationwide in 2006 and quickly became a fan favorite. However, after nearly a decade, the company ultimately discontinued it due to operational issues in 2016. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter The Snack Wraps consist of crispy chicken, shredded cheese, and lettuce, all wrapped inside a tortilla. Although this might have been the best decision for the business at the time, customers begged McDonald's to bring back the Snack Wrap for years, causing the fast-food chain to return it for a limited time across select locations nationwide in 2020. Related: McDonald's teases return of item fans have long clamored for But fans' joy was short-lived because the Snack Wrap again disappeared from the McDonald's menu by the end of that year. Years passed without no mention of the Snack Wrap until McDonald's (MCD) announced in February that it was planning the nationwide return of the popular menu item, along with other chicken-focused offerings. It didn't provide a specific date for the relaunch, however. Related: McDonald's announces return of fan favorite item after nearly a decade Two months later, McDonald's made a cryptic post on all its social media platforms with the date "snack wraps 0x.14.2025," building excitement around the highly anticipated release. The post created mass speculation around the potential date for the relaunch, with many trying to guess the official date and some even claiming they had figured it out. Still, McDonald's didn't confirm any rumors. After months of teasing the Snack Wrap relaunch, McDonald's has finally announced the official date, and it's only a few weeks away. The fast-food giant revealed via an Instagram post featuring a carousel of photos that Snack Wraps will be available nationwide across all McDonald's locations beginning July 10, writing "snack wrap 07.10.2025." However, this official date doesn't match the tease McDonald's posted a few weeks back. The photos explained the surprising change of plans, with screenshots of a typed Notes app note. I know I posted 0x.14.2025 a few weeks ago but I wanted to see if they could come back even sooner. So I asked the boss and he said 'OKAY LET'S DO IT?!?!!'" writes the note. "It's the honor of my lifetime to finally Snack Wrap is back because of YOU. See you 07.10.2025," they added.
