Pope Leo XIV visits the headquarters of his Augustinian order

ROME (AP) — Pope Leo XIV met with members of his Augustinian religious order on Tuesday, visiting the congregation's headquarters outside St. Peter's Square.
Leo was seen exiting a black Volkswagen Tiguan in the driveway of the Agostinianum, the pontifical institute that also serves as the Rome-based residence and headquarters of the Order of St. Augustine.
The ethos of the order, which includes a contemplative spirituality, communal living and service to others, is traced to the fifth century St. Augustine of Hippo, one of the theological and devotional giants of early Christianity.
The former Rev. Robert Prevost, history's first American pope, was twice elected superior of the order, which was formed in the 13th century as a community of mendicant friars — dedicated to poverty, service and evangelization.
Ever since his May 8 election, Leo has repeatedly emphasized he is a 'son of St. Augustine.' He visited an Augustinian-run
Marian sanctuary
south of Rome on Saturday in his first outing as pope and during his first greeting to the world, wore a pectoral cross given to him by his order that contained relics of the saint.
Leo is the first Augustinian pope.

Airstream's Frank Lloyd Wright Trailer Envisions 'Usonian' Design On-the-Go

Airstreamhas partnered with theFrank Lloyd Wright Foundationto create a limited-edition travel trailer inspired by the late American architect. Accepting orders today, the 28-foot 'Usonian' trailer will be made in only 200 units over the next two years. Frank Lloyd Wright's distinct philosophy of an organic American architecture comes to life in the inspired design, featuring wooden interior finishes, an abundance of natural light, and elegant functionality. Throughout, echoes of Wright's 'Usonian' design language come to life, evoking his 20th-century vision of efficient small footprints and bringing nature indoors. Initial inspiration was provided by a rare 1939 design for a mobile kitchen by Wright that was never physically built, but highlighted the designer's early concepts of mobile architecture. Wright's 1955 Martin-Senour Paint collection also served as a primary reference for the desert-inspired color palette, including mustard yellow, deep red, earthy ochre, turquoise, blue, and green. To allow for ease of movement and abundant sunlight, the overhead storage was relocated, accommodating 29 windows — including two glass skylights. The trailer also includes two circular porthole windows, referencing Wright's later embrace of circular elements and Airstream's dedication to aerodynamic design. Inside the rear hatch is the modular sleeping area, featuring two twin beds that can be combined into a king-size bed and serve as a lounge area. A convertible dinette and desk both fold down to create small-space efficiency at the front, opening the area for living or transforming the sofa for an additional sleeping area. The design is topped off with a custom slatted ceiling fixture that spans the trailer, enhancing the effect of the skylights through dynamic light and shadow. The Airstream Frank Lloyd Wright Special Edition Travel Trailer is available now from Airstream's nationwide dealer network, with pricing starting at $184,900 USD MSRP. Luxury UK car makers hit by ‘multiple geopolitical headwinds'

Luxury, high-performance and niche UK car makers face challenges which 'threaten competitiveness and growth', according to a report. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said companies such as Aston Martin, McLaren and Morgan are having to cope with volatile trading conditions, decarbonisation rules and production cost pressures. The study found the total turnover of the UK's high-value, small-volume manufacturers in 2024 was more than £5.5 billion, with around nine in 10 of their vehicles shipped overseas. They were responsible for just 4% of the UK's car production, but accounted for 12% of its value. In excess of 15,000 people are employed in high-skilled, well-paid jobs by the companies, the SMMT found. The report stated: 'The UK's small volume manufacturers face a series of challenges … (which) threaten competitiveness and growth.' SMMT chief executive Mike Hawes said: 'Britain's luxury, performance and niche vehicle makers are exemplars of automotive design, engineering and manufacturing – and a quintessential British success story. 'Government rightly recognises the importance of these high-value and iconic brands to the UK economy and, amid multiple geopolitical headwinds, the industry is looking to work together to ensure the sector can not just survive but thrive. 'A successful sector would deliver the economic growth, well-paid jobs and exports that Government craves, helping keep Britain firmly on the global automotive map.' Industry minister Sarah Jones, said: 'Our luxury automotive manufacturers are iconic British brands recognised worldwide, and this report rightly highlights the huge contribution they make to the UK economy. 'We're ensuring our carmakers go from strength to strength as we deliver our Plan for Change, and we've already secured landmark trade deals with the US and India, which will cut tariffs for the sector and create new export opportunities. 'Our modern industrial strategy will set out a long-term plan to support our manufacturers, including by creating the right conditions for increased investment, bringing growth, jobs and opportunities to every part of the UK.' The UK-US trade deal was confirmed in a call between Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and US President Donald Trump on May 8. It included American tariffs on UK cars being 10% for the first 100,000 vehicles exported. Mr Trump had previously set the tariff rate on car exports to the US at 27.5%.

Hyundai pitches hybrids as ‘Best of Both Worlds' in Paris, Texas

This story was originally published on Marketing Dive. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily Marketing Dive newsletter. Hyundai launched a marketing campaign, 'Best of Both Worlds,' in support of its Sante Fe and Tuscon hybrid vehicles, per a press release. Two ad spots and two long-form videos feature a French cowboy who lives in Paris, Texas and drives Hyundai's hybrids. A separate campaign, 'He Got Money,' focuses on fuel savings and is targeted at an African-American audience. The campaigns, from Innocean USA and Culture Brands, respectively, come as the automaker has seen hybrid vehicle sales increase 44% so far in 2025, despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty. Hyundai is going all-in on its hybrid vehicles with a pair of ads that mix humor and value propositions like performance and savings. The automaker has seen a big boost in hybrid vehicle sales, with total hybrid vehicle sales jumping 5% in May, per details shared with Marketing Dive. The 'Best of Both Worlds' effort focuses on Jean-Luc, a cowboy born in Paris, France who lives in Paris, Texas. A 30-second 'Cowboy' spot which debuted on June 8 during the NBA finals focuses on the Sante Fe Hybrid and shows how the titular character can have 'more cheese' on his plate by saving on fuel. 'Mosey' focuses on the Tucson Hybrid and will air later this month. In addition, a long-form YouTube spot has a cinematic feel, albeit one drawn more from Westerns and not Wim Wenders' art house classic 'Paris, Texas.' However, the campaign was filmed on location in the Texas town, and Hyundai will donate an estimated $30,000 from production to support local schools in the community. Created by Innocean with media by Canvas, 'Best of Both Worlds' will run across broadcast, digital and programmatic platforms, with custom digital content on TikTok, Meta, Reddit, YouTube and beyond. In a separate but related effort, Hyundai continued its series of 'Okay Hyundai' ads with 'He Got Money.' The 30-second ad focuses on a character who owns a hybrid and the gossip about his seemingly extravagant lifestyle, which — in a nod to ongoing price pressures — includes a fridge full of eggs. 'He Got Money' will run across broadcast and digital platforms in both 15- and 30-second formats and will be featured in influencer partnerships. The ad, which is targeted at an African-American audience, features Kathleen Bradley — best known as Mrs. Parker from the cult classic "Friday' — and is from Hyundai's African American agency of record, Culture Brands. ''He Got Money' shows how the Tucson Hybrid empowers drivers to enjoy more of what matters—style, comfort, and community—thanks to real savings at the pump,' said Erik Thomas, director of experiential and multicultural marketing, Hyundai Motor America, in a press release. Hyundai's increased hybrid sales follow the automaker becoming the launch partner of Amazon Autos late last year. One global auto brand moved approximately $80 million in annual ad spend from The Trade Desk to Amazon's ad platform by the end of Q1, partially due to its ability to sell its cars via the online retailer, Adweek reported. Hyundai is currently the only automaker that has that functionality on Amazon. Recommended Reading Mattel's Hot Wheels ignites 'challenger spirit' with cinematic ad
