'Fashion, for me, is a statement of who you are and what your personality is. My fashion is all about comfort. On my off duty days, you will see me in easy going streetwear, because that's what my personality is. My style automatically reflects my personality. I don't pay much attention to using it to break out of an image, because fashion needs to be close to who you are,' she says.

As she shot for her in the fantasy shoot, ask her about her experience and she says, 'When I saw the references, I thought it might be a bit too much for me, but the way it all turned out, it was amazing to see. Great fashion gives you access to doing things that you wouldn't do on an everyday basis. It was quite unique delving into the whole vibe.'

Discuss her take on experimenting with her style and she says, 'I like to experiment with my outfits and styling, but it has to be within the parameters of what I believe in and what I think I can carry. I am not someone who would go to extremes and not be comfortable with it. Be it the outfits, accessories, make up or anything, I play around with it till the time it doesn't take away from my authenticity.'

But does she prefer traditional fashion or modern contemporary style? 'I am more inclined towards modern contemporary fashion as my style is more streetwear. That comes naturally to me. I don't try to amalgamate it with traditional fashion, as I believe there is an occasion for both to be adorned individually, and I carry traditional as well as I do modern fashion. It's always best to dress for the occasion,' she responds.

The animal landed in the water and was pulled onto the shore, according to police. "The donkey screamed, and children cried," regional police spokeswoman Larisa Tuchkova told the AFP news agency. "No one had the brains to call the police." Bystanders, instead, clicked photographs and phoned newspapers, she said."It was put up so high into the sky that the children on the beach cried and asked their parents: 'Why did they tie a doggy to a parachute?'" Taman newspaper reported last week."The donkey landed in an atrocious manner: it was dragged several meters along the water, after which the animal was pulled out half-alive onto the shore," the paper reported. Police began to investigate after the incident, which occurred at the coastal village of Golubitskaya.

Fest manifests vegetarian side of Awadhi cuisine
Lucknow: A cultural programme titled 'Dastarkhwan-e-Awadh' was held at Karamat Husain Muslim Girls' PG College on Wednesday, focusing on vegetarian Awadhi cuisine, typically prepared during summer and monsoon. The event was organised by Farheen Iqbal, founder of cloud kitchen Nawabi Zayqa, in collaboration with the college. A panel of judges, including Chef Zulfiqar Hussain (Chef Zulfi), Chef Sadaf Hussain, Sheeba Iqbal and Shoeb Qureshi (owner of Mubeen restaurant), tasted a range of traditional drinks, main course items and desserts. Chef Zulfi appreciated the presentation and flavours, while Sheeba Iqbal noted the students' familiarity with heritage recipes. Shoeb Qureshi recalled food memories from his childhood. Participants were welcomed with potted plants and guests received rose buds. First prize was won by Simran and Bushra (BA II) for Sewandhe, protein bar and mint drink; second prize by Anamika Chauhan, Mahek Singh and Kashish Singh for kadhi chawal, meethi tikiya and a beverage, while third prize was given to Srishti Mishra, Tanu, and Priyanka for veg biryani, lauki ka halwa and mango custard. Principal of Karamat Hussain Girls college, Prof Huma Khwaja, presented the vote of thanks.

The result was a living sculpture one that shifted with light, movement, and energy—highlighting community, tradition, and transformation.A SONG FOR THE PLANETMusic also plays a role in this cultural tapestry. The Planet Song—a collaboration between Grammy-winning composer Ricky Kej and genre-bending artist Rashmeet Kaur is a musical call to action. The track explores themes of climate awareness and sustainability, blending folk roots with futuristic production to reach a wider, younger SPORT MEETS STATEMENTPerhaps the most unexpected partnership is between athletes Virat Kohli and Saina Nehwal, who have come together to design The Walkers Jersey. More than just apparel, the jersey is a statement in support of gender equality in sports. It's a symbolic invitation for fans and citizens alike to 'wear what they stand for'—and to champion equal representation in every COMMUNITY, AND THE PATH FORWARDAt its core, The Walkers List is less about individual glory and more about shared momentum.
