Bedford retail park crash sees woman in 80s seriously injured
A woman in her 80s was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in a town centre shopping area.It happened at St John's Retail Park in Bedford on Friday afternoon.Bedfordshire Police said the woman was struck by a black Skoda at about 15:15 BST and paramedics were called.The force has appealed for witnesses.
