Taha G gets real about reset and resilience
Anyone who has dedicated 2025 to having a mental reset will find a kindred spirit in singer Taha G, who earlier this week took to Instagram to do some soul searching as he penned raw reflections on resilience and growth in the face of adversity. "Half the year is already gone damn, bumpier than I thought it would be," confessed the High On You singer. Laying his own vulnerabilities bare for his followers to mull over, he continued, "From being broke to questioning if I'm even good enough as an artist, to feeling completely lost and broken mentally, I've gone through more phases than I can count." Taha's post comes amid the backdrop of a difficult year, with the musician having been forced to cancel a concert in Karachi in May due to "unforeseen logistical issues", for which he had profusely apologised to his followers on Instagram at the time. The artist reminded his followers that when it comes to social media, what you see online rarely depicts reality. "Truth is, what you see on here isn't always the full picture," he added. "Behind the posts are real struggles, real doubts and real pain." However, much like a phoenix is reborn from the ashes, Taha's overall message was one of hope, despite the struggles he has had to overcome in the wake of recent setbacks. "I'm still here," he reminded his followers. Reinforcing his commitment to his career, the singer noted, "The second half of this year is personal and I [have got to] lock in. I'm choosing to shift my mentality, rebuild my confidence and focus on my comeback. I assure you it's coming, because I can change my life and this G will." Rounding off on a positive note with a glass-half-full attitude, Taha ended his post with a high-five emoji as he concluded, "Time for growth, healing and rising again."

Nicholas Galitzine has officially wrapped filming for Masters of the Universe and is giving fans their first sneak peek at his role as He-Man. The actor took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes photo, showing him from behind with He-Man's iconic Power Sword, gauntlets, and battle gear. 'That's a wrap on Masters of the Universe,' Galitzine wrote in the caption. 'It's been the role of a lifetime. I put everything into it and I'm so proud of the movie we've made.' The upcoming Masters of the Universe live-action film, set for release in summer 2026, is directed by Travis Knight (Bumblebee) and written by Chris Butler, with earlier drafts by David Callaham and the Nee Brothers. Galitzine stars as Prince Adam, who transforms into the legendary hero He-Man to protect Eternia from Skeletor and other threats. The star-studded cast includes Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Jared Leto as Skeletor, and Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms. The film is produced by Amazon MGM Studios following Mattel's success with Barbie in 2023. To prepare for the physically demanding role, Galitzine reportedly consumed 4,000 calories daily and underwent intense training. Originally launched as a toy line in 1982, Masters of the Universe became a cultural phenomenon with its animated series and 1987 film starring Dolph Lundgren. The franchise has seen multiple reboots, including Netflix's Revelation series and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. With Galitzine now leading a new generation of fans into Eternia, anticipation is high for what's being hailed as a major cinematic reboot of the beloved fantasy saga.

David Beckham shares heartfelt Father's Day tribute amid ongoing feud with son Brooklyn
David Beckham marked Father's Day 2025 with an emotional tribute to his four children, amid ongoing tensions with his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham. On Sunday, the 50-year-old football legend shared a carousel of throwback photos on Instagram, expressing his love and pride for Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13. 'My most important & favourite job in life is being a dad,' Beckham wrote, tagging each of his children and his wife, Victoria Beckham. While sons Cruz and Romeo left warm messages in the comments, Brooklyn did not publicly acknowledge the post. He also remained silent on his own Instagram account, fueling speculation that the rift between him and his parents continues. The tribute follows recent signs of reconciliation. Just a day prior, Beckham, who was recently knighted by King Charles III, extended an olive branch by tagging Brooklyn in Victoria's celebratory post about his knighthood. Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, have had a strained relationship with the Beckham family since their 2022 wedding. The couple skipped David's 50th birthday party in May, reportedly due to issues involving Romeo's former girlfriend. Additionally, Brooklyn did not visit his parents during a recent trip to London. Sources close to the couple say they've hired Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's former lawyer, Jenny Afia, for reputation management, citing frustration with ongoing rumors. Despite the drama, Beckham's Father's Day post reaffirmed his commitment to his family: 'I will always be here for you no matter what.'
