Avika Gor Graces Laughter Chefs With Husband Milind Chandwani, Says 'It Was Special'
Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani will soon be seen in the upcoming reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check.
From debuting as television's most iconic child bride to now stepping into her real-life bahu era with her fiancé Milind Chandwani right by her side, Avika Gor has come a long way. Recently, the couple made their first-ever television appearance together on the semi-finale of Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment, just ahead of their upcoming reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check. What unfolded on set was nothing short of delightful.
While Avika made herself perfectly at home—steering clear of the stove and floating freely between stations—Milind was put through the paces with quirky tasks, surprise games, and Bharti's relentless leg-pulling. But instead of shying away, he jumped into the chaos with full spirit, turning what could've been a quiet debut into an unexpectedly entertaining one.
Avika Gor reflects on her experience with Milind Chandwani for the very first time on national television, 'It was special to return to a TV show—and this time, with Milind by my side. Laughter Chefs is a show I've followed since the beginning, so being part of the semi-finale felt like something I just had to do. Watching Milind experience it all for the first time—the energy, the madness, the fun—and seeing how naturally he blended in made me so happy."
'Bharti and I kept chatting about how much fun he was having. I've also known Aly and Karan for years now, so catching up with them on a set where no one's taking themselves too seriously just made the whole day even better. Honestly, not being trusted with actual cooking turned out to be a blessing. I floated around, got pulled into jokes, and had the best time. Laughter Chefs was our fun little prep before Pati Patni Aur Panga takes over our lives," the actress added.
Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani got engaged in June this year. Milind is a social activist and entrepreneur. He is the founder of the NGO Camp Diaries, which empowers underprivileged children by providing creative and skill-based exposure. He rose to public prominence as a contestant on MTV Roadies Real Heroes in 2019.

Saiyaara Crosses Rs 100 Cr In 4 Days, But THIS Vicky Kaushal Film Hit Century In 3 Days In 2025
Last Updated: Directed by Mohit Suri and starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara collected an estimated Rs 22.50 crore on Day 4. There's no stopping Saiyaara. Even on Monday which is typically a slow day for most releases, the film continued its impressive run at the box office. Directed by Mohit Suri and starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara collected an estimated Rs 22.50 crore on Day 4. This brings its total to Rs 106 crore in just four days, according to The romantic drama released on July 18 and got off to a phenomenal start, collecting Rs 25 crore (approx. $2.9 million) on its opening day in India. According to YRF, nearly 9.75 lakh people flocked to theatres on Day 1, making it the biggest opening day ever for a Hindi film led entirely by debutants. It beat the previous record set by Dhadak, which opened at Rs 8.76 crore in 2018. What makes Saiyaara's feat even more notable is that only one other Hindi film in 2025 has managed to hit the Rs 100 crore mark faster, Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal. The period drama, directed by Laxman Utekar, has been one of the biggest success stories of the year. It earned a staggering Rs 49.03 crore on Sunday alone, closing its opening weekend with Rs 121.43 crore in India. While Chhaava and Saiyaara differ vastly in genre and scale, one being a historical epic, the other a contemporary love story, both have made history in their own right. Importantly, Saiyaara's success stands tall on its own merit. It not only marks a breakout moment for Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, but also sets a new benchmark for romantic films at the box office. It outperformed recent romantic hits like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (Rs 11.1 crore), Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (Rs 6.7 crore), Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar (Rs 15.73 crore), and Kabir Singh (Rs 20.21 crore) in terms of opening day numbers. The buzz around Saiyaara was strong even before release, with advance bookings crossing Rs 9.39 crore and over 3.8 lakh tickets sold. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had reported that 1.38 lakh tickets were booked across national chains like PVR INOX and Cinepolis—a record for a debut film in recent memory. With its soaring numbers, stellar word-of-mouth and sold-out shows across metros, Saiyaara is proving to be a cultural and commercial phenomenon. While Chhaava continues to dominate as the highest grosser of 2025, Saiyaara has earned its place in the spotlight, representing a strong, refreshing wave of new talent and storytelling in Bollywood. Saiyaara Box Office Collection Day 4: There's no stopping Saiyaara. Even on Monday, traditionally a slow day for box office collections, the Mohit Suri directorial held strong. Starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Saiyaara collected an estimated Rs 22.50 crore on Day 4, bringing its total to Rs 106 crore, according to Released on July 18, the film opened to a massive Rs 25 crore (approx. $2.9 million) on Day 1 in India. As per figures shared by YRF, nearly 9.75 lakh people watched the film in theatres on its opening day—making it the biggest opening day for a Hindi film led by debutants. It beat the previous record set by Dhadak (Rs 8.76 crore) in 2018. In fact, Saiyaara also emerged as the highest opening day earner for a romantic film in recent years, surpassing Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (Rs 11.1 crore), Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (Rs 6.7 crore), Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar (Rs 15.73 crore), and Kabir Singh (Rs 20.21 crore). Advance booking numbers reflected the buzz, with Rs 9.39 crore earned before the film even hit theatres. 3.8 lakh tickets were sold in advance, including 1.38 lakh across national chains like PVR INOX (1.05 lakh) and Cinepolis (33,000). This made it the highest opening day ticket sales for a debut film since Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai and Refugee in 2000. Director Mohit Suri, best known for Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, has now delivered the biggest opening of his career. Saiyaara's Rs 21 crore nett Day 1 beats his previous bests Ek Villain (Rs 16.70 crore), Murder 2 (Rs 6.95 crore), and Aashiqui 2 (Rs 6.10 crore). Remarkably, the film achieved all this with just 8,000 screenings across India, less than half the usual count for films of this scale. Despite the limited show count, many theatres reported houseful shows in major cities. Globally, Saiyaara raked in $11.9 million over its opening weekend, placing it at number 9 on the global box office chart, per Comscore. The Indian weekend gross was $6.6 million, with the final tally expected to go higher. First Published: July 21, 2025, 22:32 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
