Several OKC Thunder teammates attend Alex Caruso's wedding
Caruso married former Big Brother contestant Haleigh Broucher on Saturday, Aug. 9. The two became engaged in Aug. 2024. Several of Caruso's teammates were in attendance for the wedding.
Several Thunder players posted on social media their presence at Caruso's wedding. They congratulated their veteran teammate on the special occasion. Chet Holmgren, Lu Dort, Isaiah Hartenstein, Jaylin Williams, Isaiah Joe, Cason Wallace and Branden Carlson were some of the OKC attendees.
When you're around your teammates every day for nine months of the year, you tend to form close bonds. It shouldn't be surprising to see several of Caruso's teammates at his wedding. His first year on the Thunder paid off with a championship run that he contributed to.
The group posed for photos at the event. They held up their ring finger for the photo. The Thunder recently learned they will receive their championship rings on Oct. 21. They will kick off the 2025-26 season by hosting the Houston Rockets and Kevin Durant.

Big Brother 27's Jimmy Reveals His Parting Advice to Rachel
Big Brother's latest evictee, Jimmy Heagerty, walked out the door after a staggering 9-2 vote and wild eviction episode – not to mention, a dramatic final toss of his fake designer sunglasses."This was a bad move," the 25-year-old strategy consultant exclusively tells Men's Journal about Head of Household - and ally – Mickey Lee's decision to orchestrate his eviction: "Mickey has numbers falling out of the house left and right, and she's setting the other side of the house up for success by letting somebody like me go." Still, it seems there are no hard feelings outside the game. "I love Mickey to death and hold nothing against her," he adds, though still questioning how this decision affects her long-term claims he might blow up some games on his way out, Jimmy chose to restrain himself. "I followed Rachel Reilly's advice: leave classy, not sassy," he says. 'I gave them one more sunglasses toss so they could remember me.' One relationship of his that evolved dramatically in the house was with former winner Rachel – the same person he wanted out night one of the game. "To know Rachel is to love Rachel," he tells MJ. "An incredible player and an even better friend… I trusted her the most in this game." He adds, 'She certainly repaid me for that in the last few moments I had in the house where she was definitely fighting to keep me to the bitter end.'And Jimmy didn't leave her without some parting advice. 'One of the things I told Rachel before I left is, 'Make them crown you,'' he says, knowing it would be tough for her to get the votes if she made it to the end again. 'If she earns it, she can get it and it's hers for the taking.'As for the rest of the house? Jimmy has thoughts—on Morgan ('overly paranoid'), Keanu ('abrasive behavior') and Ashley ('late and indecisive'). But he left the game with no regrets, saying, 'Would I play Big Brother again? Yes, yes, a million times yes.'Big Brother airs Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. You can also catch the 24/7 live feeds on on Paramount+ and Pluto TV. Nate McMillan: Bronny James will 'possibly get minutes' this season
Bronny James may not be ready to be in the Los Angeles Lakers' rotation on a consistent basis yet, but he seems to be on a trajectory that will lead him to being ready for such a role not too long from now. He averaged 21.9 points, 5.5 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.9 steals a game while shooting 38% from 3-point range during this past regular season in the G League. Last month, he put up 14.3 points on 47.6% overall shooting and 3.8 assists a game during the Las Vegas summer league. Lakers assistant coach Nate McMillan said something during an appearance on "The Sports Shop with Reese and K-Mac" that echoes what a few others have said lately. He said that he expects James to "possibly get some minutes" this coming season. 'I love Bronny. Great young man and we expect him to possibly get some minutes this year.' McMillan said during the same appearance that James is a lot more confident than he was several months ago, and that it has resulted in him shooting the ball better from the perimeter. The 20-year-old didn't hit from 3-point range during summer league play, but he was clearly more poised with the basketball in his hands. If James does earn playing time this season, it would help the Lakers. They lack quality guard depth and could really use a legitimate 3-and-D guard who is a point-of-attack defender. That seems to be exactly the type of player James is becoming, and at least for now, his defense is the strongest aspect of his game. Warriors show interest in restricted free agent Josh Giddey
Warriors show interest in restricted free agent Josh Giddey originally appeared on The Sporting News The Chicago Bulls have found themselves in a very similar free agency scenario as the Golden State Warriors with restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga. Like the Warriors and Jonathan Kuminga, the Bulls have their own restricted free agent to come to terms with before the start of the 2025-26 season in guard Josh Giddey. Giddey, a 22-year-old guard from Australia, is believed to be interested in staying in Chicago after his first season with the team. He was traded to the Bulls in a deal that sent guard Alex Caruso to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2024 offseason. The Bulls guard had another improving season in the NBA with a struggling Chicago franchise. In 70 games in 2024-25, Giddey finished with averages of 14.6 points and career-highs in rebounds (8.1), assists (7.2), steals (1.2), and three-point percentage (37.8%). Although the two sides have a mutual interest in figuring out a deal to stay in Chicago, there's been a growing conflict in recent days over the annual amount of money Giddey will be paid. An offer that the Bulls have made is a deal that has him getting paid $20 million a year, but the 2021 lottery pick is looking for something closer to the $30-million-a-year range, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer. As the season inches closer and no deal has been agreed upon, it's been mentioned that the Golden State Warriors are interested in a sign-and-trade deal for the Bulls' guard. "Golden State would be interested in, depending on how the machinations could go, some type of Josh Giddey, Jonathan Kuminga sign-and-trade, to my understanding," Fischer said in his podcast. Speculation says that Giddey and the Bulls are going to get a deal done, but if contract negotiations aren't agreed upon, the Warriors could be a place where he gets moved.
