Karrion Kross Confirms WWE Departure
Over the weekend, WWE moved Karrion Kross and his partner Scarlett to the alumni section of its website. The move was followed by skepticism about the legitimacy of his contract situation. However, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful later confirmed that Kross, Scarlett, and Ashante Thee Adonis were all legitimately removed from WWE's internal roster on August 10.
In his YouTube channel video called 'My WWE Contract Ends Today', Karrion Kross discussed his WWE departure and post–WrestleMania 41 promo. 'My contract is up August 10th. I'm f*cked. I've been f*cked. Things are weird. Things are not bad, things are just very strange. I feel like the following day after WrestleMania and the Sam Roberts podcast. I literally slipped into like another timeline, like another world. Once it was done, everybody was like, 'Holy sh*t.'
'They're like, 'That was amazing.' I said, 'Thank you. Are we good?' And he goes, 'We are very good. That is nuts. That's the guy.' You know, he was saying to me, 'That's the guy we need.' And I said, 'I agree.' Shook everybody's hands. I said before I left, 'Guys, please make sure everybody knows this was a work.'
Karrion Kross was just creating compelling content for fans
'Yeah. Let them know that I'm not actually mad. I love it here. I'm just doing my job. I have to create compelling things for the audience to believe. And one of the things that is so overlooked with all of this backstage insider stuff wrestling, man you can call this real, fake, whatever you want. What we do, legit, is we turn pain into art.'
Karrion Kross also says he tried to secure a new contract months before his departure. Kross said it's crazy to think he wanted to be anywhere but WWE, and said he remains committed.
'You know, August 10th, it's up. That's another situation that's, like, on top of everything else going on that's confusing and stressful because, like, I expressed interest to renegotiate in early January with WWE. Like, I think it's crazy it's, like, preposterous that anyone would think that I wouldn't want to be here or, like, go somewhere else. And it's nothing against anywhere else, but, like, I'm fully committed. I'm here.'
With him being a free agent, Karrion Kross also confirmed that he is now ready to take bookings for various shows.

Tiffany Haddish Just Ruthlessly Roasted Trump Without Even Saying His Name
Jimmy Kimmel Live guest host Tiffany Haddish didn't mention President Donald Trump during Monday night's monologue, but she seemed to have him in mind as she jokingly announced she was running for president herself. 'I've got all the qualifications to be president,' she said, then listed three things she has in common with Trump. 'I'm rich, I've been arrested a few times, and I always say crazy shit.' Related: She has one other important qualification as well. 'We've had an actor as president, a reality host president, but now it's time to elect a comedian,' she said. 'Finally, a president who's funny on purpose, most of the time.' Harry Langdon / Getty Images, Andrew Harnik / Getty Images Haddish delivered a campaign-style speech unveiling a platform that includes paying taxes with old gift cards. Related: 'We're gonna run this country, this government, like a company,' the comic and actor said. 'And that company is Sizzler.' Her platform includes requiring credit scores on dating site profiles, providing pastrami at all Subway locations, and retooling delivery robots to become sex toys. 'No more STDs, y'all,' she vowed. Related: But her biggest promise was something more profound. 'My campaign is built around a very simple idea: America, mind your own damn business,' she said. 'Doesn't that sound nice?' That promise called to mind something Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said as he ran for vice president on last year's Democratic ticket. Related: 'In Minnesota, we respect our neighbors and the personal choices that they make,' he said on the campaign trail. 'And even if we wouldn't make the same choices for ourselves, we've got a golden rule: Mind your own damn business.' Check out Haddish's take on that 'golden rule' in her Monday night monologue: This article originally appeared on HuffPost. Also in In the News: Also in In the News: Also in In the News:

Watching JD Vance get called a 'couch-f*cker' by hecklers will have you smiling ear to ear
Vice President JD Vance is no stranger to being heckled in person. In fact, by the sheer number of times it's happened, it seems clear that most of the world isn't a fan. But yesterday, a group of protesters entered the heckler hall of fame when they called out the Republican politician's alleged unnatural love of couches. On Wednesday, Vance joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller to deliver Shake Shack burgers to the National Guard troops stationed around Washington, D.C. But instead of being warmly welcomed, the crowd booed them and hurled hilarious insults at Vance. Videos of the event quickly went viral on social media, showing hecklers shouting "Oh look, it's couch-f*cker,' and 'You gonna f*ck a couch, buddy?" Or the pièce de résistance, 'Go f*ck a couch.' from Fauxmoi Rumors of JD Vance's attraction to furniture have been running rampant since the presidential campaign, stemming from a faux-excerpt from his novel Hillbilly Elegy that claimed the vice president once had sexual relations with a couch. While the excerpt is fake, the bit stuck and has been haunting Vance ever since. Vance has been heckled all across the U.S. (and in Greenland too), including in Nantucket in June where a protest of his attendance at the Republican National Convention Committee fundraiser featured a sign reading, 'Go hump a couch.' It looks like Vance will never live down this hilarious rumor as long as hecklers are here to remind him.
