Jennifer Aniston's Relationship Status Could Change Soon, Says Source
It looks like wedding bells could be ringing for Jennifer Aniston sooner than anyone guessed. According to a new exclusive, the 'Friends' icon is ready to make a serious commitment to her new boyfriend, Jim Curtis. 'The Morning Show' star, 56, has been quietly dating Curtis, a self-help guru, for several months. The romance may be new, but sources say that Aniston's relationship status is shifting quickly — she has known him for years and feels sure this time. Jennifer Aniston is planning on marrying rumored boyfriend Jim Curtis, says source Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis' rumored relationship has been making headlines lately. The relationship, which has already been embraced by Aniston's close inner circle, appears to be moving toward a serious and permanent commitment. 'Jen and Jim are crazy about each other, and she's at a stage in life that's tired of the dating playing field,' one source told Radar. 'She's going 'all in' on this romance, and it's easy to see why. Jim is a sweetheart with incredible empathy for Jen's needs. She believes she's finally found her 'forever' guy.' Curtis apparently shared her outlook from the very beginning. 'They talked about a future together on their first date,' the insider explained. The source added that he 'made it clear on day one' how committed he was. This will be Aniston's third marriage, and she's reportedly planning something intimate and simple. 'They're excited to be tying the knot, and want to exchange vows on the beach in Cabo, in front of a small group of trusted friends,' the source revealed. Their fast-moving relationship has already taken them from quiet trips to high-profile, paparazzi-filled outings. In June, they retreated to Big Sur's Ventana Inn. They went public during a Fourth of July yacht getaway in Spain. Photographers captured them cuddling on deck, seemingly unconcerned with the attention. Curtis even wrote about the trip in his newsletter after returning home. 'I am back from vacation and what an experience!' he shared. Reflecting on his journey, he added, 'When I was sick, sad, stuck, and in pain, I never thought I would have the abundance, joy, and love I now experience on a daily basis.' As talk of a wedding grows louder, Aniston seems ready for a brand-new chapter. And this time, she's betting on forever. The Pitt Season 2: Release date, time, cast and plot details
Max's gripping medical drama The Pitt captured hearts with its intense, real-time portrayal of life in a Pittsburgh emergency room. After a stellar first season, fans are buzzing with excitement for Season 2. Here's everything known about the upcoming season. Release Date and Time for The Pitt Season 2 Advertisement Mark those calendars—The Pitt Season 2 is set to premiere on January 8, 2026, on Max, exactly one year after the first season's debut. This quick turnaround is a refreshing change in the streaming world, where long gaps between seasons often leave viewers hanging. Expect episodes to drop weekly, likely on Thursdays at 3:00 AM ET, following Max's typical release pattern for original series. Each of the 15 episodes will cover one hour of a chaotic 15-hour shift, keeping the show's signature real-time format. Cast: Who's Returning and Who's New? The ensemble cast of The Pitt is a big reason for its success, and Season 2 brings back most fan-favorites while introducing fresh faces. Noah Wyle returns as Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch, the seasoned attending physician navigating personal and professional chaos. Patrick Ball is back as Dr. Frank Langdon, whose return from rehab sets the stage for major storylines. Katherine LaNasa reprises her role as charge nurse Dana Evans, who's expected to return with a fiercer attitude after nearly quitting in Season 1. Other returning series regulars include Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Dr. Whitaker), and Shabana Azeez (Dr. Javadi). Ken Kirby also returns as the iced coffee-loving Dr. John Shen in a recurring role. New additions shake things up. Sepideh Moafi joins as a series regular, playing Dr. Al-Hashimi, an attending physician in emergency medicine. Recurring cast members include Charles Baker as Troy, an unhoused patient; Irene Choi as Joy, a third-year medical student; Laëtitia Hollard as Emma, a recent nursing graduate; and Lucas Iverson as James, a fourth-year medical student. Lawrence Robinson also joins as Brian Hancock, a charming patient with a soccer injury that sparks a potential romantic subplot. Notably, Tracy Ifeachor will not return as Dr. Heather Collins, a creative decision confirmed by the actress herself. Shawn Hatosy, who played Dr. Abbot in Season 1, steps behind the camera to direct an episode, adding a new layer to his involvement. Plot Details: What to Expect in Season 2 Season 2 picks up 10 months after the Season 1 finale, diving into a hectic Fourth of July weekend at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital. The time jump allows for evolved character arcs and fresh challenges. Dr. Langdon's first day back post-rehab drives much of the narrative, with his reintegration into the ER sparking tension and growth. Dana Evans, hardened by her Season 1 trauma, returns with a no-nonsense attitude, fiercely protective of her team. The holiday setting promises a flood of cases, from fireworks injuries to a hot-dog-eating contest gone wrong and severe sunburns, reflecting the chaos of one of the ER's busiest days. The show continues its real-time format, with each episode covering one hour of the shift. Expect gritty, realistic medical cases mixed with personal drama. Themes like Medicaid changes and healthcare disparities will weave into the story, grounded in consultations with real medical professionals. Unlike Season 1's mass shooting, Season 2 aims to avoid repeating major traumas, focusing instead on diverse, real-world ER challenges. Dr. Robby's mental health journey also takes center stage, exploring whether he seeks help after hitting his breaking point. Character developments include Whitaker transitioning to a paid intern role and Javadi stalling on her career path with a sub-internship, hinting at her indecision. The dynamic between Dr. Santos and night-shift doctor Ellis may deepen, building on their mentor-mentee bond. The show stays rooted in the ER, with no plans to explore other hospital departments, keeping the focus on high-stakes emergency medicine.

Golden Retriever Puppy Forgets How To Use Stairs, His Response Goes Viral
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A golden retriever puppy's hesitation to walk down a set of stairs has left internet viewers in stitches. Savanna Evans (@savvyevans), 34, from Lakeway, Texas, shared a video of her puppy, Steve, lying halfway down the staircase and refusing to make his way to the bottom, despite her gentle words of encouragement. The clip has since gone viral, garnering more than 455,300 views and over 51,000 likes on TikTok. "The big stairs were no problem, but those last little ones? His ultimate nemesis," Evans told Newsweek. The video shows Steve facing his biggest "nemesis"—a small set of stairs inside the family's home. A split image of Steve the golden retriever sulking at the stairs. @savvyevans/@savvyevans She said that, while the puppy had no problem with the larger staircase, the smaller final steps completely stumped him. Normally, she added, Steve would attempt them only if bribed with treats, but in a follow-up clip, he managed it all on his own. Evans described Steve as goofy, silly, and full of charm, with a love for food and people alike. Evans said the sweetest part is the close bond Steve has formed with her 5-year-old son, calling them inseparable best friends. The family brought Steve home on the Fourth of July when he was just 8 weeks old. He had been the runt of the litter and the very last puppy left without any interest from others. To Evans, though, Steve was perfect, and her son's request for a puppy made the timing ideal. From the start, Steve fit seamlessly into the family. Evans reflected on how special the pup has become, noting that he went from being "the last pick" of his litter to the star of their household—and, now, a viral sensation. TikTok users couldn't get enough of Steve's antics. "This Golden is smart, because he knows walking the stairs at his age will be bad for his joints," posted Bart. "You got to walk with them," added Rich. "I feel he tumbled down the previous stairs and at this point he's like no thanks im good here," wrote Honey. "Sources say he is still there waiting …" commented Isabelle. "Those little legs are tired after all those stairs," one user shared. "Start of his manipulation! He's no fool," another viewer commented. "I want to land so many kisses on this floofy baby," added a third. Ashley shared a similar memory, writing: "My boy did something similar when he was about baby. I took him for a walk and as soon as we got in front of our driveway he plops down and refused to walk on the very short driveway to the house, I had to carry him."
