Set with 211 invisibly-set coloured sapphires totalling 13.33 carats, the Sparkling Rainbow lives up to its name – its case, bezel, crown, dial and clasp awash in a seamless 360-degree gradient of vibrant hues. Achieving this requires 85 unique cuts and a rare 'mystery setting' technique that creates the illusion of floating stones, held in place by an invisible understructure.

MoonSwatch gets new Snoopy version with the Mission to Earthphase MoonShine Gold
Swatch and Omega's MoonSwatch collection has been wildly popular since its debut, with so many variants released that it's hard to keep score. But the rarest of all MoonSwatches (and perhaps most coveted) are possibly the Snoopy versions. So far, only two have been released – the all-white Mission to the Moonphase Full Moon and the all-black Mission to the Moonphase New Moon. And now, Swatch has unveiled a new Snoopy release, available exclusively on Aug 9. The new Mission to Earthphase Moonshine Gold features an adorable illustration of Snoopy and his best pal Woodstock sitting on the Moon, marvelling at the Earthphase complication. An Omega and Swatch invention, the Earthphase feature shows the phases of Earth as if you were standing on the moon. The date of the release is meant to coincide with the full Sturgeon Moon. It gets its name from the month when the sturgeon fish, a large freshwater fish, is most readily caught. The watch also features a moonphase indicator at the 2 o'clock subdial featuring two radiant full moons, one designed in the distinctive Snoopy style and the other draped in a net-like pattern as a subtle nod to the sturgeon inspiration. Both are coated with Omega's proprietary Moonshine Gold. In all, it's a good-looking watch, rendered in dark navy blue to evoke the endless depths of space and paired with a navy rubber strap. To mimic the twinkling expanse of space, this MoonSwatch is dusted with glittering sparkly blue aventurine across several details – from the minute track, hands, inside the earth and moonphase complications, plus the outer ring of the subdial at 6 o'clock. The watch also boasts several iconic features of Omega's legendary Speedmaster Moonwatch, including an asymmetrical case and distinctive, recessed Speedmaster subdial. There's also a secret message embedded within – shine a UV light on the Snoopy illustration and a quote saying 'I beat everybody…' pops up, which comes from a Peanuts comic strip in which Snoopy brags about being the first beagle to land on the lunar surface of the moon. Priced at S$535, the new Mission to Earthphase Moonshine Gold will be available only on Aug 9 at select Swatch stores. Only one watch can be purchased per person, per store.

Similar to the moon phases, the earth phases follow a 29.5-day cycle, but in reverse — when there's a full moon, we see a new earth, and when there's a new moon, we will find a full earth. This relationship causes the earth on the earth phase to move counterclockwise, opposite to the direction of the moon on the moon phase indicator. Beneath the earth phase indicator, you'll find is an illustration of Snoopy, joined by his ever-loyal friend and frequent co-pilot, Woodstock, alongside a phrase that appears only under UV light, and acts as a playful nod to the pioneering spirit of the Moonwatch, the first watch on the Moon. PHOTO: OMEGA Seamaster Aqua Terra This petite and slim mechanical timepiece in stainless steel and 18-karat Moonshine gold is decorated with 46 diamonds on a polished bezel and 11 diamond hour markers. One of the 12 latest models in the Aqua Terra, it's the first to come in a 30 mm symmetrical polished case with a wave-edged design on its screw-in case-back. It features a mother-of-pearl dial in full glossy finish, with a circular date window at 6 o'clock. Apart from the diamond hour markers, the dial has redesigned faceted hands, with the minute hand tapering to a delicate point. All the applied elements are in Moonshine gold, while the hands are crafted in 18-karat yellow gold with a PVD Moonshine gold coating. The hands are also coated with white Super-LumiNova, which emits a blue glow. As part of the ocean-inspired Seamaster line, the Aqua Terra 30 mm is both dressy and sporty. It is powered by the METAS-certified Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8750. The watch is paired with an integrated stainless steel and Moonshine gold bracelet with beautifully rounded polished-brushed links, a foldover butterfly clasp, and Omega's easy comfort-adjustment system. Price: S$25,850 The new Railmaster sports a brown dial with a dark gradient. PHOTO: OMEGA Railmaster The Railmaster makes a comeback with new colour gradients and an updated design. The timepiece was first rolled out for railway workers in 1957, along with the Speedmaster and the Seamaster. Forming a trilogy known as the Professional Line, it marked an era of important progress in science and exploration. Like the Railmaster, the first Speedmaster was in turn designed for racing car drivers, and the Seamaster 300 for ocean divers. The anti-magnetic Railmaster was especially suitable for engineers, industrialists and scientists working around railway lines. An inner protective case made the watch resistant to magnetic fields of up to 1,000 gauss, which ensured reliable precision in timekeeping for these professionals. Most anti-magnetic timepieces then offered protection of only around 60 gauss. The Railmaster line has remained a favourite among Omega fans for its vintage style and working-class heritage. Its brushed and polished symmetrical case and integrated bracelet, which includes an easy comfort setting as well as brushed and polished links, are in keeping with the DNA of the first Railmaster. While this new model sports a brown dial with a dark gradient, it retains the easy-to-read display of the earlier models, which include large numerals and hour markers in vintage Super-LumiNova. This watch continues the Railmaster's legacy of anti-magnetism, courtesy of the METAS-certified Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8804. The movement is resistant to magnetism up to 15,000 gauss and can be viewed through the transparent sapphire crystal on the case-back. Price: S$8,800
