Albion have two players in the England under-21 squad heading to the Euros.
Places in Lee Carsley's group for goalkeeper James Beadle and versatile Jack Hinshelwood were confirmed today.
Hinshelwood has played as a right-back at times for the 21s but was listed among the midfielders as the group was announced.

England open their group stage next week against the Czech Republic and then face Slovenia.
Hinshelwood ended the club season on a high with the winning goal against Liverpool and two in the 4-1 success at Tottenham.
Beadle has spent the last season-and-a-half on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and is expected to head back to the Championship in the coming campaign amid multiple reports of interest from Birmingham City.
The Euros take place in Slovakia and England will look to defend the title they won two years ago when goalkeeper James Trafford was among the stars.
Hinshelwood helped Albion to their second best finish in his second season in the side as they came eighth in the Premier League.

He said: "Obviously there were points in the season where we were a bit disappointed and we could probably have ended on a higher points tally.
"But it's all learning and I think next season is going to be a really exciting one if we can continue on that kind of trajectory."
The headline news from the squad announcement was Liam Delap's absence as he plays for his new club Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup.

David double as Canada beat Ukraine 4-2
Jonathan David scored twice as World Cup co-hosts Canada enjoyed a convincing 4-2 win over Ukraine in a friendly match at BMO Field on Saturday. Jesse Marsch's side got off to a fine start when David, put them in front when he followed in to tap home after his header from a Tajon Buchanan cross was parried out by Anatoliy Trubin. Advertisement Right-winger Buchanan was causing the Ukraine defence plenty of problems with his speed and trickery and he was also the creator of the second goal -- whipping in a cross which was perfectly glanced home by David. Canada were effective in their high pressing and from a turnover Promise David raced clear and confidently slotted home his first international goal to make it 3-0 in the 31st minute. The chances continued to arrive after the break and substitute Jayden Nelson struck the post as Canada looked to put the game completely beyond the Ukrainians. The fourth goal arrived in the 81st minute when Luc De Fougerolles headed goalwards and Buchanan turned it home. Advertisement Ukraine got some consolation in the final minutes with a goal from Illia Zabarnyi and Oleksandr Zinchenko penalty. The game is part of a four-team mini-tournament, The Canadian Shield, which also features New Zealand and the Ivory Coast. Canada face the African side on Tuesday as they warm-up for the CONCACAF Gold Cup later this month. sev/bb

Manchester United star Amad withdraws from Ivory Coast squad
Manchester United forward Amad has withdrawn from the Ivory Coast squad ahead of their upcoming friendlies in Canada. Ivory Coast are set to face New Zealand on Sunday, 8 June, before facing Canada three days later at BMO Field in Toronto. Advertisement Amad was expected to be available to Emerse Faé for selection, having missed the 2026 World Cup qualifying victories over Burundi and The Gambia in March due to an ankle injury. However, the Ivory Coast Football Federation (FIF) have confirmed that the United star is one of two players who will not be part of the squad due to 'administrative reasons.' They don't specify the exact nature of these 'administrative reasons.' A FIF statement read [via SABC Sport], 'The Ivorian Football Federation informs the press and the public that players Amad Diallo and Dorgeles Maho, called up by national coach Emerse Fae as part of the four-nation tournament called the Canadian Shield, are unavailable for administrative reasons.' 'Consequently, Manchester United player Amad Diallo and Dorgeles Mario of FC Nordsjaelland are respectively replaced by Atlanta United Football Club player Emmanuel Latte and Mory Gbane of Stade de Reims for this friendly international competition in Toronto, Canada.' Advertisement Amad has not featured for his country since September 2024 when he came on as a substitute in Ivory Coast's 2-0 win against Chad in the group stages of the Africa Cup of Nations. He has won six caps for Ivory Coast and scored just one goal for them. Amad's absence is undoubtedly a big miss for the African nation, especially after his superb season for United. Despite the Red Devils finishing a lowly 15th place in the Premier League table, having suffered 18 defeats and amassing just 42 points, Amad put up incredible numbers. The 22-year-old registered 11 goals and 10 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions. It's worth noting that he missed three months of the campaign with the ankle injury. He's grown into an important part of Ruben Amorim's side, with next season shaping up to be a defining one for him. Follow us on Bluesky: @

Coco Gauff responds to Aryna Sabalenka over ‘not fair' French Open final claim
Coco Gauff said Aryna Sabalenka's suggestion that she would have lost the French Open final to Iga Swiatek was not 'fair' after the American won her first Roland Garros title by beating the World No 1. In difficult, windy conditions, Gauff fought from a set down to defeat Sabalenka 6-7 6-2 6-4 and win her second grand slam title on the Paris clay. However, a disgruntled Sabalenka criticised her own performance, in which she made 70 unforced errors, and said 'it was the worst final I have ever played'. Advertisement Sabalenka had defeated Swiatek in the semi-finals, to end the Pole's 26-match winning run at Roland Garros, but could not get the job done as she lost to Gauff for her second grand slam final defeat in a row. 'That hurts,' Sabalenka said. 'Especially when you've been playing really great tennis during the whole week, when you've been playing against a lot of tough opponents, Olympic champion [Qinwen Zheng], Iga and then you go out, and you play really bad. 'Like I think Iga - if Iga would [have] won [against me] another day, I think she would go out today and she would get the win. It just hurts. Honestly hurts. I've been playing really well, and then in the last match, go out there and perform like I did, that's hurt.' To add to an extraordinary press conference, Sabalenka added: 'She was hitting the ball from the frame. Somehow magically the ball lands in the court. It felt like a joke, honestly, like somebody from above was there laughing, like, 'let's see if you can handle this'.' Advertisement Sabalenka also said: 'I think she won the match not because she played incredible, just because I made all of those mistakes.' Sabalenka after defeat to Coco Gauff in the final (AP) Gauff said that while she respected both Sabalenka and Swiatek, she could not agree with Sabalenka's assessment and said that she did a better job of dealing with the conditions. 'I mean, I don't agree with that,' Gauff replied as she appeared at her press conference next to the French Open trophy. 'I'm here sitting here [as the champion]. 'No shade to Iga or anything, but last time I played her I won in straight sets. I don't think that's a fair thing to say, because anything can really happen. Advertisement 'The way Aryna was playing the last few weeks, she was the favourite to win. So I think she was the best person that I could have played in the final. 'Her being No. 1 in the world was the best person to play, so I think I got the hardest matchup just if you go off stats alone.' Gauff kisses the Coupe Suzanne Lenglen, her second grand slam singles title (Getty Images) Gauff explained how she adjusted her game and handled the conditions to add to her 2023 US Open triumph, which also came against Sabalenka. 'It was super tough when I walked on the court and felt the wind because we warmed up with the roof closed,' Gauff said. 'I was, like, 'this is going to be a tough day'. 'I knew it was just going to be about willpower and mental. It really came down to the last few points, but overall I'm just really happy with the fight that I managed today. It wasn't pretty, but it got the job done, and that's all that matters.'
