Kunal Kapoor says Bachchan household is like ‘any other household': ‘It's not very different from…'
Actor Kunal Kapoor, who is married to Naina Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan's niece and the daughter of his younger brother Ajitabh Bachchan, recently shared a glimpse into life inside the Bachchan household.
In a conversation with News18 Showsha, Kunal revealed that the Bachchan household is quite ordinary, much like any other Indian family. 'Well, it's like any other household, honestly. It's not very different from any other household.'

Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Seychelles in 2015. The couple welcomed their son in January 2022.
In an old interview, Ajitabh Bachchan's wife Ramola Bachchan had revealed that she and Amitabh were in the same friends circle and he introduced her to Ajitabh. Talking to Rediff in 2002, she said, 'My friendship with Amitabh goes back to before he or I got married and even before I met Ajitabh. Amitabh was working in Kolkata in his pre-film days. We moved in the same circle and were very good friends. It was through him that I met Ajitabh.'

On the professional front, Kunal Kapoor was last seen in the Netflix film Jewel Thief, which was released on April 25. He will next star in the Telugu film Vishwambhara, alongside Chiranjeevi.

Housefull 5 has witnessed a solid second weekend, earning ₹ 27.22 crore, compared to its bumper opening weekend of ₹ 87.5 crore. With this, the current total for Housefull 5 at the Indian box office stands at ₹ 154.49 crore. Housefull 5 saw an overall 23.93% occupancy on Sunday. Regions like Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune and Delhi saw the highest occupancy and the highest number of screenings for the film. Sacnilk reported that Housefull 5 earned ₹ 220 crore gross at the worldwide box office in nine days, with ₹ 49.1 crore coming from the overseas market. Housefull 5's India gross stood at ₹ 170.9 crore. Housefull 5 stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, and Soundarya Sharma in lead roles. Fans had been waiting with bated breath to get an extended look at the Dhanush and Nagarjuna-starrer Kuberaa, and their wish was finally granted as the makers unveiled the film's trailer during a pre-release event held in Hyderabad. The event also featured ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli as the chief guest. The trailer offers a gripping glimpse into a world driven by a war for oil, where greed, money, power, and ethics collide and dictate the terms. Dhanush plays a beggar who can't comprehend the value of crores. However, his life changes after he meets Nagarjuna's character, who helps him escape the clutches of poverty. Nagarjuna, however, portrays a character with multiple shades. At one point, he tells Dhanush that in this country, only money and power matter — not ethics or justice. After gaining help from him, Dhanush's character begins a revolt against corrupt politicians and businessmen, including one played by Jim Sarbh. This act of rebellion turns the tide, leading Nagarjuna's character to hunt him down with the intent to kill. A line in the trailer perfectly sums up the mood, 'How did a beggar put a whole government at risk?' Apart from the two leads, Rashmika Mandanna plays a key supporting role and is seen as Dhanush's confidante. The film also stars Dalip Tahil, Sayaji Shinde, Divya Dekate, Hareesh Peradi, and several others in pivotal roles. It is directed by Sekhar Kammula.
