AEOI Condemns US-Led Attacks On Fordow, Natanz, Isfahan Nuclear Facilities
KUALA LUMPUR, June 22 (Bernama) -- The Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI) on Sunday decried United States (US) attacks on the country's nuclear facilities as blatant violations of international law, particularly the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
It condemned the attacks on nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan, which are under the continuous supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), based on the Safeguards Agreement and the NPT Treaty.
'This action, contrary to international law, was unfortunately carried out in the shadow of indifference and even with the cooperation of the International Atomic Energy Agency,' it said in the statement as reported by the Tehran Times.

MELAKA: The Melaka government has expressed its appreciation to the Federal Government for approving the RM660mil Waste-To-Energy (WTE) plant project in Sungai Udang, expected to be completed by 2029. State housing, local government, drainage, climate change and disaster management committee chairman Datuk Rais Yasin (pic) said a groundbreaking ceremony will be held soon and officiated by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh. "This project enhances the efficiency of solid waste management and supports the state's green agenda," he said during the Elected Representative for the People (WRUR) programme for the Bemban state constituency. The 3.96-hectare facility will also include a 96-cubic-metre leachate treatment system, with construction scheduled to begin next year and span three years after fulfilling various preliminary requirements.- Bernama
