FORMER England striker Jermain Defoe has been hit with a fourth driving ban for speeding.
The ex-Premier League star, 42, was barred for a year after being clocked at 82mph in a 70mph zone last October.

Defoe, who played 57 times for England, was driving a Land Rover in Wormley, Herts, JPs in St Albans were told.
His barrister said the ex-Spurs ace deserved credit for pleading guilty.
Defoe, who was not in court, was fined £660 plus £90 costs and a £266 victim surcharge.
He also got three points to add to the nine already on his licence.
Defoe was previously banned from the road for six months in July 2008 for speeding.
He received another six-month ban for the same offence the following year.
He later admitted driving at 45mph in a 30mph zone in Portsmouth in May 2008.
He was given an additional four points on his license.
The star ended up in court again in October 2010 after being caught with a phone behind the wheel while driving in Loughton.
He was handed three points - narrowly avoiding another ban - and fined £800.
Defoe was then slapped with his third six-month ban two years ago when he was clocked doing 56mph in a 30mph zone in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire in December 2020.

Tony's adoptive mother, Paula Hudgell, criticised the decision and warned Simpson 'remains a serious risk to children'. Simpson was released in February 2024 but was recalled to prison in June last year following 'a relationship with a convicted sex offender'. Tory MP Tom Tugendhat has posted his support to Tony 'as he faces the early release of his abuser'. The board had in March rejected an application for the hearing to be held in public. They told the BBC their decisions are 'solely focused on what risk a prisoner could represent to the public if released and whether that risk is manageable in the community'. Mrs Hudgell wrote in a post on social media: 'After serving just two years on licence, she will be legally free to live as she chooses. This includes being around children—and even having another child. 'This situation underscores the urgent need for a national child cruelty register—a system to ensure that individuals with a history of harming children are monitored, restricted, and prevented from reoffending. 'Our children deserve protection. A register would not only help safeguard vulnerable young lives, but also bring peace of mind to communities across the country. Love Island contestant Dejon Noel-Williams was reportedly questioned by police after a woman complained her phone had been stolen. The semi-pro footballer, 26, was interviewed by the police after a woman's mobile was taken in London. However he was released without any further action. Dejon is the second of this year's lineup to have been questioned by the police, after fellow contestant Kyle Ashman was axed from the upcoming series on Tuesday after he was involved in a machete attack in February. Kyle was one of two arrested by police but he was released with no further action and ITV confirmed he had left the villa citing 'personal reasons'. Meanwhile ITV were aware of the incident with Dejon when he secured his place on the dating show, a spokesman confirmed to The Sun. He was injured by a blade that left him with a deep gash and has suffered tendon damage and is now unable to drive. Police confirmed on Tuesday that after the matter had been investigated Kyle and another individual were released with no further action only last month. A show source told the publication: 'ITV were entirely unaware of Kyle's past and, as he was not charged, it was not flagged as part of Love Island's stringent DBS checks. 'It's only right he can now return home to the UK to share his side of the story and therefore bosses took the decision that it was best for him not to enter the villa.' Adolescence continues to make records months after Netflix release
The UK crime drama miniseries Adolescence, co-created by and starring Stephen Graham, has surpassed Stranger Things to become Netflix 's second most-watched English-language TV series, with 141.2 million views since its debut on March 13. The four-part series Adolescence follows the aftermath of a 13-year-old boy's arrest for murdering a classmate, with each episode filmed in one take. Director Philip Barantini told The Independent that shooting each episode in one take was challenging but meticulously planned, requiring collaboration from the sound team, ADs, and runners.
