Anthony Cacace sends message to Raymond Ford after American's win
Belfast man Cacace was forced to pull out of a Saudi Arabia showdown with Ford due to a back strain.
And he was an interested spectator as Ford took his professional record to 18-1-1 with a victory over Nova in Riyadh.
But Cacace was not impressed by the man he missed out on the chance to take on.
The 36-year-old wrote on social media: "Ray Ford, a typical American fighter, can talk the talk, but the guy has no engine. If pushed, he will fold."
Cacace last fought in May when he stopped Leigh Wood in the ninth round of their IBO World Super Featherweight title fight, having having vacated his IBF belt in January.
The Belfast man clearly still fancies a fight with Ford, who won 96-94, 97-93 and 97-93 on the judges' scorecards on Saturday night.

Reflecting afterwards on his strong back nine, an encouraged McIlroy noted he fared better than he expected given he'd chosen to take three weeks away from the course prior to the BMW. He admitted: 'I wasn't expecting much to be in contention but there were glimmers of really good stuff in there this week. 'As I said I found a bit of a groove over those last nine holes. It is certainly something to build off going into the Tour Championship next week.' That competition wasn't as vital to the Down native since he'd long since secured his spot at the Tour Championship as he comfortably sits second in the qualification list behind only Scottie Scheffler. For what was his FIFTH victory on tour this year, the world number one bagged a mammoth $3,600,000.

The Iwai twins' incredible season continued as Akie joined sister Chisato on winning on the LPGA Tour as a rookie as she eased to the Portland Classic. Back in May, Chisato came up trumps the inaugural Mexico Riviera Maya Open thanks to a final-round 66 to win by six shots and this time around, her twin also posted a final-day 66 to finish on 24-under par, four clear of American Gurleen Kaur who had been stalking the summit all week. The Japanese golfer went bogey free, finishing with back-to-back birdies to confirm her first win on the LPGA Tour. First to congratulate her was her twin Chisato who finished in a tie for third with Sweden's Linn Grant after a stunning 64 – a score only matched by American amateur Kiara Romero.
