Harvey Weinstein to be tried for a third time in New York
The 73-year-old Weinstein will face trial in the sexual assault case of Jessica Mann, in which a jury in New York could not reach a verdict in June. Following this, a mistrial was declared.
The same jury found Weinstein guilty in June of sexually assaulting former 'Project Runway' production assistant Miriam Haley in 2006 and not guilty of assaulting Polish Kaja Sokola, a former runway model.
Weinstein, who was one of the biggest names in Hollywood, is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence for rape in California, though he has denied any wrongdoing.
Weinstein will also be sentenced for the guilty verdict in Haley's case on September 30.

'Once again, we are facing a provocation from the Russian Federation, with a Russian drone," Polish Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz told reporters. Poland To Issue Formal Protest Polish General Dariusz Malinowski said the drone appeared to be a decoy which was designed to self-destruct, while containing a Chinese engine. The drone was believed to be a Russian drone model called Gerbera, which is often used as a decoy in multiple Russian drone and missile barrages against Ukraine. Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said his ministry would issue a protest against the airspace violation, but did not name the perpetrator. 'Another violation of our airspace from the East confirms that Poland's most important mission towards NATO is the defence of our own territory." The Russian embassy in Warsaw did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment. This comes less than a month after a Russian military drone flew into Lithuania from Belarus. It is worth mentioning that Poland has been a major supporter of Ukraine, and hosts over a million Ukrainian refugees and is a key transit point for Western humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine. An unidentified flying object has crashed, exploded in Polands east
Agency: Last Updated: Warsaw, Aug 20 (AP) An unidentified flying object crashed into a cornfield and exploded in eastern Poland early Wednesday, the country's news agency PAP reported. Local police said they received reports of the crash around 2 am and found burned metal and plastic debris at the scene, near the village of Osiny. As a result of the explosion, windows were broken in some houses but nobody was injured, PAP reported. Poland's Armed Forces Operational Command said Wednesday on social media that no violations of Polish airspace from neighbouring Ukraine or Belarus were recorded overnight. Officials initially said the explosion may have been caused by a part of an old engine with a propeller. Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz later said the object was most likely a drone, adding that an analysis was underway to determine whether it was a military or smuggling one, PAP reported. Lublin District Prosecutor Grzegorz Trusiewicz told reporters several investigators — both civilian and military — were examining the crash site. 'We have a lot of manpower, we have the army to help us. I hope that we will be able to finish the operation by the evening," Trusiewicz said. Since Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine more than three years ago, there have been a number of intrusions into Polish airspace, raising alarm in the European Union and NATO member state and reminding people how close the war is.
