"God Has An Order": Donald Trump's Spiritual Adviser Says Wives Should "Submit" To Their Husbands
A study published last year by the Survey Center on American Life found that church membership was declining among young women in the U.S. at a higher rate than among young men.
Nearly two-thirds of young women interviewed said they were not treated as equals to men in churches.
White-Cain, a televangelist who has been called President Donald Trump's spiritual adviser, referred to her third husband, Jonathan Cain, as the head of her household, stating, 'God has an order.'
She continued, 'If there's ever a time that a decision has to be made and we don't agree on something, he's the head. It's not hard to submit.'
The White House Faith Office was established via an executive order in February, along with Attorney General Pam Bondi's Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias.
'I'm up here working on the initiatives for President Trump, who's been in ministry for 40 years and understands it,' White-Cain told Gruber. 'But I am so excited about the move of God and, undoubtedly, Bible sales up 22%, people returning to church, and men converting.'
The Faith Office leader has faced backlash for her church's financial practices. A Senate Finance Committee investigation that concluded in 2011 found that that White-Cain's then-ministry, the megachurch Without Walls International, used tax-exempt funds to pay her family members millions of dollars in salaries.
Even right-wing influencer Jon Root told digital news site NOTUS he was concerned about White-Cain's involvement in the White House.
'Anybody that you know holds true to strong biblical conviction and discernment wouldn't be involved with Paula White,' Root told the outlet last month. 'She's 100% a false teacher.'

Powerful sister of North Korean leader denies removal of front-line speakers
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — The powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Thursday dismissed South Korean claims the North is removing some of its loudspeakers along the inter-Korean border, mocking the government in Seoul for clinging to hopes of renewed diplomacy between the war-divided rivals. South Korea's military said over the weekend that it had detected the North removing some of its loudspeakers, days after the South dismantled its own front-line speakers used for anti-North propaganda broadcasts in a bid to ease tensions. Kim Yo Jong reiterated previous North Korean statements that it has no immediate interest in reviving long-stalled negotiations with Washington and Seoul, citing an upcoming joint military exercise between the allies as proof of their continued hostility toward Pyongyang. South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff did not disclose where it spotted the North removing some of its speakers. The North Korean speakers that have been visible from civilian-accessible border areas in the South were still seen by AP photojournalists after the military's announcement. During a Cabinet meeting Tuesday, South Korea's new liberal President Lee Jae Myung described the North's alleged steps as a 'reciprocal measure' and expressed hope the Koreas could 'gradually reopen dialogue and communication.' Kim accused Lee's government of misleading the public, saying that North Koreans 'have never removed loudspeakers installed on the border area and are not willing to remove them.' No interest in talks with the US She also dismissed South Korean media speculation that the North may use this week's planned meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump to convey a message to Washington via Moscow. "Why should we send a message to the U.S. side," she said, adding that the North has no interest in talks with the Americans. Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, North Korea has made Russia the priority of its foreign policy and has sent thousands of troops and large supplies of military equipment, including artillery and missiles, to help fuel Russia's war. North Korean and Russian state media said Wednesday that Kim Jong Un and Putin held a phone call to discuss their deepening ties and war efforts against Ukraine. Russia's TASS news agency said Putin also shared with Kim information about his upcoming talks with Trump in Alaska on Friday, but the North Korean reports did not mention the Trump meeting. Kim Yo Jong had also released statements in July dismissing Washington and Seoul's stated desires to restart diplomacy aimed at defusing the North's nuclear program, which derailed in 2019 following a collapsed summit with Trump during his first term. In recent months, South Korean border residents have complained that North Korean speakers blasted irritating sounds, including howling animals and pounding gongs, in a tit-for-tat response to South Korean propaganda broadcasts. The South Korean military said the North stopped its broadcasts in June, after Lee ordered to halt South's broadcasts in his government's first concrete step toward easing tensions between the war-divided rivals. The South's military began removing its speakers from border areas last week but did not say if they would be redeployed if tensions flared again. The issue of loudspeakers North Korea, extremely sensitive to any outside criticism of its authoritarian leadership and its third-generation ruler, had seen South Korea's anti-Pyongyang propaganda broadcasts as a major provocation. The South's previous conservative government resumed daily loudspeaker broadcasts in June last year, following a yearslong pause, in retaliation for North Korea flying trash-laden balloons toward the South. The speakers blasted propaganda messages and K-pop songs, a playlist designed to strike a nerve in Pyongyang, where Kim Jong Un has been pushing to eliminate the influence of South Korean pop culture and language among the population, in part of attempts to strengthen his family's dynastic rule. The psychological warfare campaigns further heightened tensions already inflamed by North Korea's advancing nuclear program and South Korean efforts to expand joint military exercises with the United States and their trilateral security cooperation with Japan. Lee, who took office in June after winning an early election to replace ousted conservative Yoon Suk Yeol, wants to improve relations with Pyongyang, which reacted furiously to Yoon's hard-line policies. Experts, however, say the North clearly feels no urgency to resume diplomacy with South Korea and the U.S. anytime soon and remains focused on its alignment with Russia.

Zohran Mamdani brings anti-Trump tour to Trump-friendly Staten Island
NEW YORK — Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani brought his anti-Trump tour to Staten Island on Wednesday, where he said 'despite the caricatures' of the island, he was confident he could make inroads because of his focus on affordability and immigration. Mamdani won several election precincts in the borough in the June primary, but his more moderate opponent Andrew Cuomo carried the island. His appearance Wednesday drew a crowd of vocal opponents. 'I know that though there are Staten Islanders who are passionate in their support for Donald Trump, there are some of those who voted for both of us,' Mamdani said, speaking from the backyard of a Stapleton Turkish restaurant. 'I do not blame them, because what they may have heard is a throughline in just how suffocating this cost of living crisis is.' Mamdani, a democratic socialist, has run on an affordability platform, promising free buses, a rent freeze for stabilized units and free child care. On Wednesday, he also slammed President Trump's mass deportation agenda, pointing out that one in four Staten Islanders were born outside the country. 'We will not be accomplices in the attempt to fulfill Donald Trump's promise to create the largest deportation machine this country has ever seen,' Mamdani said. The Assembly member is facing off against Cuomo, Mayor Adams, Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa and independent Jim Walden in the November general election. Mamdani was introduced on Wednesday by officials from a range of political backgrounds, including immigration advocates, former Council members Debi Rose and Sal Albanese and local district leaders Ali Ansari and Jasmine Robinson, who endorsed Cuomo in the primary. 'We know that progressive ideas have a home here, just like so many others,' Mamdani said. Outside the event, protesters wearing Trump gear and carrying signs in support of Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa jeered at Mamdani, calling him a 'communist' and yelling hateful epithets. Mamdani said that language 'saddens' him. 'I will not let it dissuade me from continuing to come to Staten Island, from continuing to speak to New Yorkers, no matter where they live, no matter what politics they have,' he said. On Tuesday, the candidate appeared in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, where speakers encouraged establishment Democrats like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries to get behind Mamdani. Despite winning over some institutional support since his primary victory, Mamdani has not yet garnered the support of some of the city's Democratic heavy-hitters. 'Zohran has listened to what the people need, what they want, and has developed a plan to make that happen,' former Council member Rose said on Wednesday. 'And so I'm here today to say to you that we should not be afraid as a party to endorse and embrace Zohran Mamdani.'
