The Orlando Magic are one of the NBA's youngest and most exciting teams in the league.

They have made the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time since the 2019 and 2020 seasons. With a core of Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, and Jalen Suggs, it's clear the future is bright.
Orlando lost in seven games to the Cleveland Cavaliers a season ago and were sent home by the Boston Celtics in five games about six weeks ago. Despite their improvement over the last two seasons, expectations are growing and there's potential for major moves regarding the roster ahead of next season.
The team clearly lacks perimeter shooting, ranking dead last in the league during 2024-2025, hitting just 31.5% of their three pointers. So, finding consistent shooting is step one.
With Banchero and Wagner leading the show, the Magic excelled at scoring inside the paint, as well as earning free throws. If you pair that young duo with more spacing, it will make their lives much easier.

On top of shooting, they could also use a couple of well established veterans, but it might be at the expense of some of their youth.
According to Kevin O'Connor, Orlando is open to potentially packaging players like Cole Anthony and Jonathan Isaac to acquire rotational upgrades.
Injuries derailed this past season, with Banchero and Wagner each missing chunks of the season due to suffering torn obliques. Backup center Mo Wagner tore his ACL last December, causing him to miss the majority of the season and Jalen Suggs underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in early March, which ended his year.

A healthy Orlando squad will make a huge difference next season and if they can bring in any established high-level role players, they will be a force in the Eastern conference in the near future.
