Lewis County officials comment on cancelation of SNIRT run
The West Leyden Elementary School, which is scheduled to close at the conclusion of the 2025 academic year, has been a neighborhood staple since its establishment in 1929. This almost 45,000-square-foot complex, which includes a playground and athletic fields, represents a unique redevelopment opportunity not just for West Leyden, but also for the Town of Lewis and Lewis County said Buell.
According to the press release, the workshop will be held in an open-house format, with attendees encouraged to peruse the provided materials displaying project progress to date, such as an architectural review of the building's current conditions, findings from the local market analysis, and a summary of public survey results. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and engage with project representatives to gain a better understanding of the project and its next phases.
