Hunan TV Show Singer 2025 Draws Performers from lots of Countries
Hunan TV's Mango TV program Singer 2025 is redefining global cultural exchange, using music as a bridge across borders. The show has received back-to-back endorsements from UNESCO and has been highlighted in 15 social media posts by official organizations—including agencies under China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the embassies of Brazil and Malaysia in China, and Tourism Malaysia. As of now, Singer 2025 has achieved more than 85 billion digital impressions. This year, UNESCO also featured Shan Yichun's adaptation of the song 'Li Bai' in its World Oceans Day campaign, calling for global attention to marine conservation. The show's growing international attention highlights its extraordinary cultural influence, with diverse music, vibrant stagecraft, and heartfelt performances resonating with audiences worldwide. One of the program's defining strengths lies in its ability to inspire international artists to engage with Chinese culture on a deep level. American singer Mickey Guyton seamlessly wove Chinese lyrics into her performance, expressing her affection for the country. Fellow American Grace Kinstler delivered two moving performances entirely in Chinese, reflecting both the emotional appeal of Mandarin pop and her sincere appreciation for the culture. And Japanese singer BENI was particularly touched by the heartfelt enthusiasm of Chinese audiences. Offstage, other international performers—including American singers Charlie Puth and Jordan Smith, and Canadian singer Michael Bublé—immersed themselves in traditional Chinese culture. From practicing calligraphy and appreciating the ink paintings of master artist Qi Baishi to experiencing Dragon Boat Festival traditions, traditional Chinese medicine, historic academies' vibes and regional cuisine, they gained firsthand insight into the richness of China's cultural heritage. Singer 2025 continues to connect the world through music, offering a stage for diverse voices to be heard and heartfelt stories to be shared. The show looks forward to welcoming more artists from around the globe to become part of a shared cultural dialogue. Pride flag raising kicks off Windsor's PrideFest
Windsor's Pride flag has been raised ahead of PrideFest in the city. Windsor's PrideFest is officially underway with the Pride flag raising at city hall. Over 200 were in attendance to kick-off Windsor's Pridefest 2025. Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens and Windsor Pridefest president Wendy Nicholson did the honours of raising the flag. The flag symbolizes the struggle for equality, human rights, and the fight against homophobia, bigotry, and alienation. PrideFest runs from Aug. 1 to 10, with several events taking place in Windsor-Essex, including the Pride Shabbat Dinner Friday evening at the Barbershop Bar, and a disco party Friday night at Disco Inferno. In addition, there are many family-friendly events over the duration of the festival including activities and musical performances at Lanspeary Park Aug. 8 to 10, culminating with the pride parade. The parade is a symbol of the inclusion and harmony the festival is all about. Wendy Nicholson is the president of Windsor Pridefest. Nicholson is enthusiastic about the community support but cautions that the struggle continues to have basic human rights guaranteed to everyone, without exception. 'Why do you still need Pride? Well, it's the bigotry,' said Nicholson. 'And I spoke on that in my speech. The homophobia, the racism. Every phobia and ism that you can put in there. This is why we still need Pride. We just want to bring the love. We want to bring everybody together. We just want to have everybody live in peace.'

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson have at least one celeb pal who is ‘very much stanning' them as a couple
Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson attend "The Naked Gun" New York Premiere on July 28, 2025 in New York City. (via CNN Newsource) Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson seem to have eyes just for each other, both on screen and off. While doing press for their new comedy 'The Naked Gun,' the pair have been exhibiting some serious couple goals energy, with prime examples including a giggly joint appearance in a TikTok posted by Canada's eTalk, during which they were asked about their relationship. 'We had a lovely chemistry… working together,' Neeson said, to which Anderson quietly replied, 'Yeah,' while gazing at him. Things seem to have gotten heated on the 'Naked Gun' set, it sounds like. During an appearance on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' this week, Neeson shared that he worked with an intimacy coordinator for the first time, as his and Anderson's characters have a threesome in the new film which is a reboot of the 1988 original. Neeson said the experience was 'a little bit strange.' 'Pamela and I knew what to do,' he added, laughing. Neeson also shared that Anderson, who is a cookbook author in addition to actor, made sourdough bread and bran muffins for him. How sweet, literally. The pair also have a famous shipper in Andy Cohen. The Bravo host – who was a good friend of Neeson's late wife, actress Natasha Richardson – said during a recent episode of his SiriusXM show said that he and other friends who were a part of Richardson's circle are 'very much stanning whatever this is' between Neeson and Anderson. 'I was telling him at the premiere party, I go 'Liam, she is an independent woman, just like Tash (Richardson) was, she loves to cook, she has her own thing going on, she has two boys,' Cohen said. 'This just works.' Richardson died in 2009 after falling on a beginner's ski slope at a resort in Quebec, Canada. She was 45. 'The Naked Gun' is now in theaters. By Lisa Respers France, CNN
