'We continue to monitor airspace availability closely and will alter our schedule as required,' said a spokesperson for Qantas. 'We thank our customers for their patience and understanding.'
QF9, the Perth-London flight, is carrying 199 passengers and 14 crew who will now stay in Singapore for the night, as future arrangements are made.
QF33, the Perth-Paris flight, has 216 passengers and 14 crew, who will return to Perth and be accommodated overnight before travelling onward.
The failure of those flights to reach their destinations will have follow-on effects for Qantas with flights QF10 (London to Perth) and QF34 (Paris to Perth) – having to be cancelled and rescheduled.

Cricket star's ‘premium content' in Barbados sends fans wild

Emerging cricket star Sam Konstas has proven he's just as popular shirtless as he is donning the whites for Australia, sending online fans into a frenzy as he spruiked Barbados' laid-back culture while on tour with the men's Test team. Appearing in a video for @ausmencricket on Monday, the sun-kissed 19-year-old wandered along the Caribbean nation's beaches in just his boardies and a cap as if teleported back to summer in Sydney. With little separating Konstas from any other sun-seeking tourist, the teen compared local swimming spots to those of his native coastline as he ventured to the 'famous' Cuz's Fish Stand. 'Sydney beaches have more waves to be honest, but here it's just more peaceful,' he told viewers. 'It's not as busy. Everyone's laid back. And yeah, it's very cruisy.' Arriving at the popular beach-side eatery, Konstas suggested his diet had become very fish-heavy since arriving in Bridgetown. And he made an interesting claim about his favourite menu item. 'This fish tastes like chicken — so it's that good I can eat as many burgers as I want,' he said. But it wasn't just the grilled fish that had fans drooling. 'Any danger of a shirt,' one person wrote. 'Sunscreen lad be careful of THE SUN,' another said. Though it wasn't just sun conscious fans reaching out to the young gun. 'Shirtless sexy Sammy video has made my life complete. What more do I need in life?' one dedicated Konstas fan account joked. 'You are sooooooooooooooooo beautiful,' another fan said. One fan labelled the video 'premium content'. Konstas became a household name after making his Test debut on Boxing Day in Melbourne last year, drawing mixed reviews for his flamboyant batting tactics against Indian quick Jasprit Bumrah. After failing to be selected for Australia's World Test Championship final match against South Africa earlier this month, the specialist batsman will be expecting a call-up in his side's first game against the West Indies set to begin on Wednesday.
