LG Electronics (LG) has announced the launch of its latest innovation, the LG UltraGear™ 45GX OLED gaming monitor, across the Middle East. The new model aims to elevate immersive gaming experiences with next-generation display technology.
The LG UltraGear 45GX has been recognized with multiple CES 2025 Innovation Awards. Among the accolades, it received the prestigious 'Best of Innovation' for the LG UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor category.
The monitor features a 45-inch curved OLED panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio and ultra-high 5K2K resolution (5,120 x 2,160). LG reported that this marks a pioneering achievement for OLED monitors, offering more screen space and enhanced detail.
Powered by LG's WOLED technology, the 45GX delivers vibrant visuals with high brightness, true blacks, and stunning colors. To reduce eye strain during extended sessions, it is certified for low blue light emissions. Additionally, the Anti-Glare & Low Reflection (AGLR) coating helps maintain clarity in bright environments.
The 45GX950A model includes an 800R curvature and a virtually borderless four-side design. LG revealed that the monitor improves immersion while maintaining a sleek, modern look.
The display boasts a pixel density of 125 PPI and an RGWB subpixel layout. This enhances in-game text readability and boosts productivity for non-gaming tasks. It also supports Dual-Mode with eight customizable configurations.
