IIT launches new online certificate programme in data science and machine learning for working professionals
New Delhi: As the global economy transitions to data-driven decision-making, the demand for data science and machine learning professionals has surged. Keeping this in mind, IIT Delhi has introduced a new certificate programme in data science and machine learning to meet the rising demand for skilled tech professionals.
The programme will begin on June 29 and will be conducted through live, interactive online sessions.
The course is ideal for early to mid-level professionals who want to build a solid foundation or deepen their expertise in data science and machine learning to enhance their career opportunities. "As organisations worldwide increasingly rely on data-driven decision-making and AI-powered solutions, expertise in data science and machine learning has become a crucial advantage for career advancement," said an official.
The programme is open to graduates or diploma holders from recognised institutions, provided they secured at least 50% marks in Mathematics or Statistics in their Class XII exams. Upon successful completion, and with a minimum of 70 percent attendance, participants will receive a certificate from IIT Delhi's Continuing Education Programme.
The course is ideal for early- to mid-career professionals seeking to build a strong foundation or deepen their expertise in data science and machine learning to enhance their career opportunities.

Nintendo may ban players who want to play these games on Switch 2 console

The Japanese gaming company is specifically targeting those using flash cartridges associated with piracy, a report claims. Some new console owners have reportedly been banned after trying to use a type of flash cartridge designed for Switch 1 games on their Switch 2 devices. The device in question is the MIG Switch, a cartridge that allows users to load games, either from legally backed-up copies or pirated files. Last year, Nintendo began suing sellers of the MIG Switch and designed the Switch 2 to be incompatible with these cartridges. However, the makers of MIG Switch recently released a firmware update. This update made it possible to use these devices to load Switch 1 games on the Switch 2, which then prompted Nintendo's reported bans.
