Discover Naomi Neo's Secret to Safer and Smarter Parenting with the imoo Watch Phone X10
SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 17 June 2025 – Smartphones have become an everyday essential for adults. So, it's natural for children to want one. Many parents see smartphones as useful tools for staying in touch with their children when they're away from home, but smartphones can easily be lost, and they leave children vulnerable to the dangers of social media and too much screen time.
The solution is a watch phone designed specifically for children. It allows parents to keep track of their child's whereabouts and stay in touch when their children are at school or out playing with friends. It also limits children's exposure to social media and online strangers. Plus, when it's securely fastened to a child's wrist, it's hard for them to lose it. In fact, they'll enjoy showing off their cool super-hero-like gadget to all their friends. Especially one packed with features, like the imoo Watch Phone X10.

Keep calm with high-precision location tracking + behaviour status
Letting children go out alone often makes parents anxious. Even if they're together, a hectic tourist spot where it's easy to lose a child in a crowd, can be a parent's worst nightmare. The imoo Watch Phone X10 helps brings parents peace of mind. Whether the child is at the local botanical garden, park, or library with friends — or if they get separated in a crowd — the imoo Watch Phone X10 offers real-time, All-Day High-Precision Location Tracking that is accurate down to the street and floor level. It lets parents know whether they're running around or just hanging about in one place, giving parents reassurance from afar. It also works around the world, ensuring parents can keep track of their child while on holiday. The imoo Watch Phone X10 can store up to 14 days of a child's whereabouts – so parents can see the path they take to school, and where they stop along the way. With imoo quietly safeguarding each small step that children take toward independence, parents can truly 'let go without worry.'
Make children feel like a superhero with the Flip Dual Cameras
For children, the imoo Watch Phone X10 is more than just a communication device—it's a cool piece of high-tech gear. They'll look like a movie superhero on a mission when they use the X10's unique Flip Dual Cameras. Switching between its front and rear cameras is as easy as flipping the screen, sparking their sense of adventure, transporting them into an exciting universe made just for childhood.
The imoo Watch Phone X10 also gives children storytelling superpowers. The 5MP + 8MP high-definition dual cameras, paired with various shooting modes like fun animated effects, live photos, and standard photography, lets children snap anything from colourful bugs in the park, to party smiles and warm moments with family and friends.
Let kids socialize safely with the 'Bump and Add Friends' feature
Kids love making new friends. Although parents encourage their children to be social butterflies, there is always a worry about stranger danger. The innovative 'Bump and Add Friends' feature on the imoo Watch Phone X10 helps bring parents peace of mind. Two children must physically bump their watch phones together in person to become friends. Every connection is visible, verifiable, and secure. It also requires parental approval, helping to ensure no unknown contacts sneak through. Kids are free to make friends while parents can stay in control from afar.
The imoo Watch Phone X10 also keeps a child's social circle rooted in real-life encounters — on the playground, in the park, or at enrichment classes. It's operating system completely blocks access to social media, filters harmful content, and intercepts unknown numbers. It complies with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards and protects data for every interaction. The technology sets protective boundaries, but never blocks warmth. This helps ensure every friend is sincere and safe.
Don't worry – the imoo Watch Phone X10 is also tough enough for everyday kid chaos
Parents know there's no such thing as 'handle with care' when it comes to children's toys and gear, and imoo knows this too. So, it designed the imoo Watch Phone X10 specifically for energetic kids. Its rugged build is shock-resistant and highly durable and has gone through rigorous real-world testing. One parent even shared that it still worked perfectly after their child accidentally tossed it into the washing machine. The imoo Watch Phone X10 can also withstand messy situations like fingerpainting in art class or making mud pies. Its dirt-resistant surface is easy to clean – just a simple wipe and it's good as new.

Agridence Transitions to Founder-Led Governance, Secures Global Investment to Accelerate Multi-Commodity Compliance Platform
Additional funding allows Agridence to better deliver its traceability modules and ESG solutions across agri-commodity sectors globally. SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 13 August 2025 – Agridence Pte. Ltd. ('Agridence'), a Singapore-based technology leader in digital agri-commodity supply chains, today announced a funding round led by Cercano Management and supported by returning strategic investors EXEO Innovation Fund and Provident. This will empower Agridence to rapidly scale its multi-commodity compliance platform to help its customers by tackling industry-wide challenges such as supply chain opacity, sustainability risks, and fragmented smallholder networks. CEO Gerald Tan, who led Agridence's development since its inception in 2018, has invested additional capital to solidify his position as founder and the single largest individual shareholder of the company. This transition from a corporate venture-built startup to a founder owned and led enterprise underscores Tan's commitment to delivering value to Agridence's customers. ADVERTISEMENT 'This funding marks a pivotal new chapter for Agridence. We are immensely grateful for the foundational support from our early corporate shareholders; their backing was instrumental during our startup phase and crucial in building the robust platform we have today. Now, as we mature, embracing a founder-led model is key to unlocking greater agility and neutrality. That's why this shift isn't just about capital; it's fundamentally about ownership alignment and direct accountability,' said Gerald Tan, CEO and Founder of Agridence. 'The modular traceability infrastructure we built for natural rubber is now powering compliance for palm oil, cocoa, and beyond, proving these challenges are universal across agri-commodities, and we are now better positioned than ever to solve them.' Why This Matters: Neutrality Meets Regulatory Urgency The shift to an independent, founder-led model provides better alignment and allows Agridence to address a critical industry need for a truly neutral technology platform that serves all stakeholders without corporate bias. 'Southeast Asia is a key source and integral region in the global agri-commodities supply chain. A platform like Agridence that applies technology while working with local stakeholders for a more transparent, sustainable, and responsible sourcing is imperative for the industry. With this additional capital and new model, we see immense potential in Agridence, especially so being independently led by a local founder who has an operating track record within the rubber sector and has a team with deep sector know-how and local knowledge,' said Yu Minjie, Managing Director at Cercano Management. From Niche to Multi-Commodity Expansion Agridence has evolved from its roots in digitizing physical natural rubber trades to delivering a comprehensive, multi-commodity platform for global MNCs and industry associations. Recent milestones include: ADVERTISEMENT Natural Rubber : The Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR), whose members represent about 50% of the global market, uses Agridence's reporting platform for annual sustainability data submissions. : The Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR), whose members represent about 50% of the global market, uses Agridence's reporting platform for annual sustainability data submissions. 'Our biggest differentiator is our team's deep and diverse agri-commodity background,' Gerald Tan added. 'Trust is everything in this business. By leveraging our relationships, domain expertise, and technology innovations, we deliver proven regulatory and risk frameworks that solve our customers' real pain points. GWM Hosts World's First Factory Marathon, Showcasing China's Automotive Innovation to the World
BAODING, CHINA – Media OutReach Newswire – 12 August 2025 – Great Wall Motor (GWM) has combined sport, technology, and industrial pride in a landmark event—the 2025 GWM Smart Factory Half Marathon—held inside its Xushui Smart Factory in Baoding, Hebei Province. Over 10,000 runners raced through stamping, welding, and assembly workshops, surrounded by a living showcase of China's cutting-edge automotive manufacturing. From the rhythmic movements of robotic arms to the precision of autonomous transport vehicles, participants witnessed first-hand how GWM's fully automated production lines integrate intelligence and efficiency into every step of the manufacturing process. One runner, a GWM employee, recalled: 'I was running alone when a robotic arm flashed 'You can do it!' on its screen. It was a small gesture, but it gave me real motivation.' Today, GWM's smart production systems seamlessly integrate automation into every step of the manufacturing process. Robotic arms now handle everything from body welding and materials handling to adhesive application and part transfers with speed and precision. Backed by continuous independent innovation, GWM has achieved in-house R&D and production of key components including engines, transmissions, and power batteries. ADVERTISEMENT Relentless Pursuit of Core Technologies, GWM Accelerates Self-Reliant Innovation GWM employs a formidable engineering workforce of 23,000 professionals, meaning one in every four employees is an engineer. At the company's Environmental Wind Tunnel Laboratory, new vehicle prototypes are put through rigorous simulations: searing sunlight, extreme heat, heavy rainfall, and hurricane-force winds. Inside the sealed chamber, these vehicles rotate through intense climate scenarios. Outside, technicians closely monitor real-time data on massive digital dashboards—precision and performance. 'Our Environmental Wind Tunnel is one of the most advanced in the industry, comprising 35 subsystems, including high-powered air blowers, chassis dynamometers, temperature and humidity controls, solar simulation, and centralized control systems,' said Li Can, Head of Environmental Simulation Testing Department of GWM Technical Center. 'It can recreate temperatures from -40°C to +60°C, with wind speeds up to 250km/h—enabling us to simulate extreme climate conditions from around the world and ensure our vehicles meet global standards from day one.' This facility is just one piece of GWM's expansive innovation ecosystem demonstrating our commitment to technology. The company has invested nearly RMB 10 billion to establish a world-class testing complex, with more than 2,000 testing capabilities across new energy, thermal management, as well as dedicated facilities for crash safety, and comprehensive proving ground. ADVERTISEMENT 'Electrification and artificial intelligence have opened a new frontier for the automotive industry,' said Jack Wey, Chairman of GWM. We are leaning in—with a full-stack approach to intelligent vehicle technology, including our proprietary end-to-end intelligent driving models, next-generation AI data intelligence architecture, and the in-house Jiuzhou Supercomputing Center. Our next-generation advanced driver assistance system, developed entirely in-house, enabled real-world driving scenarios—from dense city streets to open highways, from rural roads to precision parking. We believe technology is not just a tool—it is the engine that drives our future,' Jack Wey added. 'That's why we are unwavering in our commitment to R&D and innovation.' Driven as One, GWM Strengthens its Automotive Supply Chain Through Vertical Integration In the 1990s, GWM was still a small manufacturer focused on pickup trucks, relying heavily on external suppliers for core components like engines and transmissions. To change that, the company established its own engine and component subsidiaries, gradually integrating its supply chain to enhance in-house R&D and manufacturing capabilities. But such success also brought new challenges. These newly formed component subsidiaries depended almost entirely on internal orders from GWM, leaving them with little incentive for innovation. As a result, their costs exceeded those of third-party suppliers, and product competitiveness lagged behind. In 2018, GWM made a bold move—all of its component subsidiaries were spun off as fully independent companies. Initially, this came at a cost. Without guaranteed orders from GWM, many struggled to survive. 'That was one of the toughest periods we've been through,' recalled Zhang Dehui, Chairman of Nobo Automotive Systems. 'We had to compete head-to-head with international suppliers for GWM's business. It forced us to raise our quality standards and invest in core capabilities. It took several years of hard work before we could secure mass production contracts again.' Yet that difficult transition unlocked new opportunities. Freed from internal dependency, Nobo began supplying global OEMs, including BMW, and officially entered the international supply chain. GWM was among the first Chinese automakers to pursue vertical integration. Over the past 35 years, GWM has built a comprehensive and fully integrated supply chain ecosystem—one in which each part supports the others, and resources are circulated with maximum efficiency. 'To build a globally competitive automotive brand, strength on the production and technology side is only part of the equation,' said Jack Wey, Chairman of GWM. 'We must also develop unique advantages on our channels and customer touchpoints. Our suppliers and dealers are not just partners, they're our teammates, standing shoulder to shoulder with us.' 'In the future,' he added, 'We must fully harness the power of digital technology to enable seamless collaboration across the entire ecosystem, future competition won't just be about supply chains—it will be about industrial ecosystems.' Driving Global Ambition, Spotlighting Chinese Brands 'This EV offers a 200km range on a single charge, with fuel consumption as low as 7L/100km in hybrid mode. It features surround-sound audio, a built-in AI large language model, and even a 12.5L independent refrigerator that cools down to 0°C…' This May, international delegates inspected our new models including the WEY G9, GWM TANK 300 Hi4-T, and HAVAL H9, each equipped with cutting-edge technologies designed for global consumers Jack Wey shared that the new plant in São Paulo, Brazil—set to begin operations mid-year—will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 new energy vehicles and create 2,000 local jobs. The plant will adopt intelligent, digitalized production systems and produce a range of powertrains including BEVs and hybrids, all equipped with advanced intelligent connectivity features. GWM's 'Ecological Globalization' strategy has drawn increasing attention for its 'ecosystem-based' approach. The company believes that internationalization is not just about shipping products overseas—it's about brand globalization and industrial capability transfer. What began as simple product exports has now evolved into a comprehensive strategy of establishing fully integrated manufacturing bases abroad. GWM's overseas operations now span the full value chain—R&D, production, supply, sales, and service—marking a true shift from product-driven globalization to full-scale 'Ecological Globalization.' Today, at GWM's Rayong NEV Plant in Thailand, locally produced EV – ORA03 EV is steadily rolling off production line with over 50% local content. This facility is GWM's second full-production vehicle manufacturing base outside China—and the first overseas plant dedicated to new energy vehicles. Spanning 658,800 square meters, the plant is set to produce 80,000 units annually during the first phase. Designed to the highest global manufacturing standards, the plant incorporates advanced systems for production, quality management, environmental protection, and digital technologies. With fully upgraded intelligent equipment and technologies, the plant sets a new benchmark for intelligent, sustainable manufacturing upgrade in Southeast Asia. Wayne Zhou, Marketing General Manager of GWM Thailand, emphasized: 'Every Chinese automaker's global expansion represents Chinese manufacturing excellence – we're China's calling card. Chinese NEV brands are accelerating Thailand's transition to the future of new energy mobility, bringing more NEVs to more Thai consumers.' GWM's global footprint continues to grow at pace. Its international sales network now covers over 170 countries and regions, supported by more than 1,400 overseas dealerships. The company has sold more than 2 million vehicles outside China, with a global user base exceeding 15 million. In 2024 alone, GWM recorded overseas sales of 450,000 units. The Global Anti-Scam Summit (GASS) Asia 2025 returns to Singapore with a strong regional coalition against scams
SINGAPORE – Media OutReach Newswire – 12 August 2025 – As scam networks across Southeast Asia grow more coordinated and transnational, the Global Anti-Scam Alliance (GASA) is responding with counterforce and progress. This year's Global Anti-Scam Summit (GASS) Asia 2025 will be held on 2-3 September in Singapore and will convene over 1,200 industry leaders, policymakers, and enforcement agencies from over 60 countries (physical and online) to address the real-world strategies for preventing and disrupting online scams at scale. 'Scams are no longer isolated incidents, they are a systemic, cross-border threat. GASA's role is to connect the dots, not just across sectors, but across borders, creating the shared infrastructure needed to act faster and smarter,' said Jorij Abraham, Managing Director, GASA. 'Over the past year, we've scaled our membership, launched new national chapters in high-priority markets, and strengthened data-sharing through the Global Signal Exchange. The summit is where these efforts come together into concrete action.' Exponential growth in partnerships ADVERTISEMENT GASA's membership has doubled globally, with the Singapore Chapter now exceeding 100 members, including major organisations such as Amazon, Google, MasterCard, Meta and Microsoft, alongside government, enforcement, and civil society stakeholders. Singapore's role as a strategic testbed for anti-scam policy frameworks, technology pilots, and cross-sector coordination has made it a hub for regional collaboration. In the past year, GASA has deepened its presence across the Southeast Asia region, having established chapters in two of the region's important markets: the Philippines and Indonesia. These economies are heavily mobile-first, with widespread use of digital finance tools, making scams a significant consumer and economic threat. . In Indonesia, the chapter is chaired by Reski Damayanti, Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer, at Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, one of the country's leading telecom providers. According to GASA's 2024 Asia Scam Report, 65% of Indonesians experience scam attempts every week, from phishing texts and fake job offers to investment fraud. With telcos increasingly targeted through phishing, SMS spoofing, and fake service alerts, the chapter will focus on industry-wide intelligence sharing, public awareness campaigns, and closer alignment with national authorities. In the Philippines, the chapter is co-chaired by Irish Salandanan-Almeida, Chief Privacy Officer and Vice-President for Governance, Risk, and Compliance and Derick Ohmar Adil, Head, AI and Privacy Governance, at Globe Telecom. As one of the nation's largest digital service providers, Globe has been at the forefront of consumer protection initiatives, from blocking malicious SMS at scale to launching awareness campaigns. 'These chapters are more than local extensions. They are strategic footholds in markets where digitalisation is instrumental in raising standards of living, yet scams threaten to undermine this. By bringing in national champions like Indosat and Globe, we're embedding GASA's model into the heart of each market's digital ecosystem. It is heartening to see this community of scam fighters assembling a short 2 years after we led the establishment of GASA in this region.' said Rajat Maheshwari, Chair, GASA Singapore Chapter. ADVERTISEMENT A stronger data backbone: Global Signal Exchange (GSE) More than 35 organisations are now contributing scam signals to the Global Signal Exchange (GSE), supported among others by GASA, Google, GSMA, Meta, Microsoft and other key players. The GSE is a global clearinghouse for the real-time sharing of scam and fraud threat signals – URLs, domains, IP addresses, emails and more. Since its launch in January 2025, GSE has grown from 40 million to 370 million signals. More than 230 organisations are now onboarded or in the pipeline to join. During the summit, GSE will also announce an important milestone and honoured addition to its program. Other key highlights at the summit include: Fireside chat featuring Mr. Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development, Ministry of Health, and Patron of the GASA Singapore Chapter Launch of the Southeast Asia Scam Report, presented by Rajat Maheshwari, Chair of the GASA Singapore Chapter Panel deep dives on regional scam typologies, enforcement strategies, and cross-border disruption tactics INTERPOL session on cybercrime operations and challenges in Asia United Nations (UN) on trafficking networks linked to scam centres in Asia Researcher and investigator Paul Raffile, on cyber extortion, impersonation scams, and blind spots in digital victim protection The Anti-scam pitch room, showcasing real-world tools and early-stage innovation in scam prevention and detection Launch of Anti-Scam resources by various GASA Members (e.g. Tech for Good Institute) To register for GASS Asia 2025, please visit For media registration, interview opportunities, or to attend the media lunch briefing on 2nd September, please contact [email protected].
