Government Media Office publishes latest figures on genocide & humanitarian situation in Gaza

Gaza – Saba: The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Monday evening the latest statistics on the Israeli genocide and the humanitarian reality in the Gaza Strip to date. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office's director, Ismail Al-Thawabta, reported that Gaza's residents require 7.5 million meals daily, along with a minimum of 600 relief trucks per day to cover essential needs across vital sectors. He added that 250,000 cans of infant formula are needed monthly for babies in the Strip. According to the statement, the total number of martyrs who have arrived at hospitals since the beginning of the genocide stands at 62,004, while the number of wounded has reached 156,230. In addition, 9,500 martyrs and missing persons have not been brought to hospitals since the onset of the genocidal war. The figures further indicate that 1,965 people have been martyred and 14,701 wounded while waiting for aid or at so-called 'death traps', while 263 people – including 112 children – have died from malnutrition and hunger.

Gaza Civil Defense: Sick cases increase recently

Gaza - Saba: The General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip confirmed an increase in the number of medical cases its crews have dealt with in shelters and camps over the past few days. In a press statement today, Monday, received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Civil Defense said that during August, its crews dealt with 132 medical cases in shelters and camps across the Strip's governorates, including 112 elderly and children, who were transferred to hospitals for treatment. The directorate attributed the increase in medical cases to the Israeli enemy's reduction of what it calls the "humanitarian zone," and the resulting deteriorating living conditions, in light of rising temperatures, water and soil pollution, and the spread of insects. It called on the United Nations and the World Health Organization to intervene urgently and pressure the enemy to prevent the spread of the disaster and the resulting deaths among the displaced.
