As Ramesh Sippy 's 'Sholay' completed 50 years on Friday, Hema Malini looked back on her experience of playing Basanti, one of Hindi cinema's most iconic characters. As reported by Manorama Online, the actor was traveling with his friend, Sudhi Madhav, when their vehicle collided with a parked lorry on the national highway. The crash left the front portion of the car severely damaged. However, both Biju Kuttan and Sudhi escaped without serious injuries. Only one of Biju's fingers was hurt, and after a brief hospital stay, he returned home on Saturday.
