Tori Spelling reveals Dean McDermott once called her Donna Martin

Perth Now15-07-2025
Dean McDermott once called out the name of Tori Spelling's Beverly Hills, 90210 character during an intimate moment.
The 52-year-old actress played Donna Martin on the hit TV show between 1990 and 2000, and Tori has revealed that her ex-husband was a fan of her on-screen character.
Asked if she's ever role-played as Donna during an intimate scenario, Tori said on the MisSpelling podcast: "I haven't been with that many people, and I've been in mostly long-term relationships. No. But I ... that would creep me out. I don't know.
"If I was intimate with a man and he was like, 'Will you role play? Will you act like Donna Martin?' That would really creep me out."
Despite this, Tori subsequently noted that Dean had a "big crush" on her from her time on Beverly Hills, 90210.
She explained: "Dean, my ex, when we met, he was telling me that he had a big crush on me and that and he would always have his hockey game with all his buddies on Wednesday night, and he would always get out of there early.
"They'd be in the locker room, 'You gotta go home and see your girlfriend.' And he was like, 'Yeah. No shame. I'm going home. I'm a guy. I'm watching 90210. I have a crush on Tori Spelling.'"
The actress then recalled one particularly awkward moment with her ex-husband.
Tori - who was married to Dean between 2006 and 2024 - shared: "I always thought I was like, 'Are you just making that up to get with me?' But, no. At some point during one of our sessions, during sex, [he] said, 'Oh, my little Donna Martin.'
"I might have giggled back like Donna."
Meanwhile, Tori previously claimed that she wishes her sex tape had leaked.
The TV star and her ex-husband once filmed themselves during an intimate moment and the footage almost went public.
She said on her MisSpelling podcast: "[He] had it on our computer at home, and a friend he thought was a friend stayed at our house while we took the kids to Hawaii. Anyway, [the friend] took the computer and tried to sell [the tape] to Vivid Video.
"They actually contacted us and said, 'We want to let you know we didn't accept it'. I said, 'Why? Were my angles not good?'
"So we had to get a restraining order on this guy."

Realty star Brandi Glanville names her facial parasite after her Real Housewives nemesis

Brandi Glanville named her facial parasite 'Caroline,' the same name as her Real Housewives nemesis, Caroline Manzo. The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to TikTok on Monday to give an update on her facial disfigurement, where she revealed she burned her face with Nair in an attempt to kill the parasite. In the graphic video, the reality star explained that she used the hair-removal cream as an exfoliant because it 'pisses Caroline off' or 'whoever's living in [her] face.' Glanville, 52, encouraged her fans to use Nair as a cheaper remedy for 'peels and lasers' but warned them not to leave it on for seven minutes like she did, which resulted in severe burns and damaged skin. 'Nair is the fountain of youth. I figured it out. But I over did it,' she admitted. Concerned fans flooded the comment section begging the mum-of-two to stop using Nair and to go see a doctor. A few eagle-eyed fans noticed the telling name that she gave the parasite. 'CAROLINE,' one fan pointed out in the comments. 'Caroline has everything better than Brandi. EVERYTHING!!' another added. In January 2023, both of the reality stars left the Morocco set of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip after Manzo accused Glanville of sexual assault during filming. Page Six learned the following month that the former model gave Manzo 'unwanted kisses' and allegedly touched her chest and genital area as well. The former Real Housewives of New Jersey star filed a lawsuit against Bravo in January 2024, claiming that the network encouraged Glanville's 'sexually offensive and harassing content.' In court documents obtained by Page Six in April 2024, an executive producer of RHUGT claimed that the Manzo'd with Children star felt 'disrespected' by Glanville but wasn't 'sexually violated' by her. Manzo graphically detailed the alleged assault at the hands of Glanville in a signed affidavit filed in May 2024. 'When Glanville was sexually assaulting me on the sofa, she was rubbing her vagina on me. The producers just watched and kept filming,' she wrote. Manzo amended her complaint in June 2025, adding disability discrimination and is seeking injunctive relief. Bravo tried to dismiss the lawsuit, but it is still currently ongoing, per the Bravo Docket podcast. Due to the allegations and ongoing legal proceedings, the highly anticipated season of RHUGT is indefinitely delayed to air. Glanville has vehemently denied all of Manzo's 'absurd' claims and has said that the sexual assault allegations made her contemplate suicide. 'It's ruined my life,' she shared on Tori Spelling's Misspelling podcast in April. 'Those six months, I was in a foetal position on my couch, contemplating suicide [and I was] being called horrible things.' 'All my jobs were cancelled,' she continued. 'The narrative when we got back from Morocco was I was fired for being inappropriate with Caroline Manzo, and I wasn't.' 'It went from 'gave her a lap dance' to 'kissed her unwantingly' to 'sexually harassed her' and then to rape,' the author recalled. 'I was supposed to go to Australia after [filming the show]. I had all these jobs lined up, and everything was cancelled. It wasn't even – I'm like, 'Just wait for the show to air at least, like, come on.'' The Celebrity Apprentice star also shared that she joined OnlyFans to make up for the lost income but had to stop doing that once her face 'started being crazy.' Between the sexual assault allegations and her 'spreading' undiagnosed facial condition, Glanville concluded that 'it's just been a really tough time.'

Orlando Bloom's big change after Katy Perry split

Orlando Bloom has offloaded his sprawling Beverly Hills mansion for $US7 million ($A10.5 million), weeks after he and Katy Perry called it quits. The 48-year-old actor — who separated from the 'Hot N Cold' hit maker, 40, in June — has sold his four-bedroom home just over a month after listing it, Realtor reports. 'It's located on the best street in Trousdale,' listing agent Jason Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group previously gushed. Trousdale Estates is a star-studded neighbourhood where Beverly Hills meets the Bird Streets, a posh area receiving exposure in Oppenheim's new Netflix reality show, Selling Sunset. The home was originally built in 1959. Mexican architect Miguel Angel Aragonés, who sold the home to Bloom, had expanded and enhanced the home's midcentury modern architecture. Bloom 'made it perfect,' said Mr Oppenheim, who also represented the Pirates of the Caribbean star in the purchase of the property, referring to the renovations the A-lister spent a year-and-a-half working on. Bloom's renovations included a new, zero-edge pool with an ipe wood deck. The outdoor area features built-in seating and a fire pit, and can be accessed via floor-to-ceiling sliders from several rooms in the house. The actor initially listed the abode in 2019 for $US9 million ($A13.6 million), after having paid $US7 million ($A10.5 million) for the pad in 2017. The single-story home sits on a hillside overlooking the city and the ocean. A mature hedge out front provides privacy. Upon purchasing the home, Bloom completed an overhaul. His renovations included a new, zero-edge pool with an ipe wood deck. The outdoor area features built-in seating and a fire pit, and can be accessed via floor-to-ceiling sliders from several rooms in the house. Bloom also opened up the floor plan, expanding the kitchen and allowing in more natural light. He added bespoke Poliform fixtures and finishes as well as indoor LED lighting. The master suite also had some work done. After the actor moved in, he opened the space so it could open out to the pool and has generous closet space. The master bath has a wet room with a freestanding tub and shower. There's a private patio right outside the floor-to ceiling windows. One of the home's more fascinating features is a sunken conversation pit lined with sumptuous sofas in the living room. News of the actor's home sale comes after it was revealed Perry and Bloom had called it quits. The former couple began dating in 2016 after meeting at a Golden Globes after-party, where they fought over an In 'N' Out burger, the singer previously revealed during an episode of American Idol. According to one insider, the duo — who share a 4-year-old daughter, Daisy — remain 'amicable' amid their 'split' and are focused on co-parenting their child together. 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' a source told Us Weekly. 'It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.' 'They are still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together,' a second insider added, noting that Bloom and Perry are both planning to continue residing in Montecito, California, to avoid disrupting their daughter's life as much as possible. 'They aren't making drastic changes for Daisy's sake. They will keep their lives in Montecito. 'They are prioritising stability and consistency for Daisy.' Prior to their split, Perry and Bloom were in the process of finishing renovations on a sprawling Montecito compound they purchased in October 2020 for a staggering $US14.2 million ($A21.7 million). The duo were understood to have been carrying out extensive work on the sprawling abode, which is one of two over-the-top dwellings that Perry owns in the celebrity-loved enclave. It's unclear who will take ownership of the property, however records indicate that only Perry's name was on the deed.

Inside Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers' ‘intense' off-camera relationship before shocking abuse claims: report

Denise Richards was allegedly involved in a 'manipulative' and 'intense' off-camera relationship with her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, while filming Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. 'You could cut tension with a knife sometimes,' an insider claimed to the Daily Mail on Sunday, explaining that the exes were 'passive-aggressive' with each other and would go into separate rooms when the cameras stopped rolling. According to the source, allegedly filming the duo the morning after a night of fighting was difficult because they 'wouldn't speak to each other off camera' despite appearing supportive on TV, reports Page Six. The insider claimed Richards, 54, once messed up a scene and Phypers allegedly said, 'Menopause.' The businessman's alleged comments toward the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum made the crew uncomfortable, the source claimed. Per the source, Phypers, 52, appeared 'very threatened' by his estranged wife's success and was allegedly 'trying to prove that he was superior.' 'Aaron walked around as if he was the biggest star on the planet when we were filming,' another source told the outlet. Reps for Richards and Phypers did not immediately respond to Page Six 's request for comment. While Richards and Phypers put on a united front for their audience, their tense relationship was previously shown on a season ten episode of RHOBH. A resurfaced clip showed the TV personality and Phypers holding hands, as she warned him not to 'say a f**king word.' 'Don't tell me what to say. I'm going to crush your f**king hand. Stop it,' he aggressively responded. News broke earlier this month that Phypers filed for divorce from Richards after six years of marriage. At the time, an insider told the outlet that the duo 'have been having trouble for some time' and those close to them saw it coming. Richards has since accused Phypers of abuse and was granted a temporary restraining order against him after alleging he threatened to kill her and himself if she reported him to police, per court documents obtained by Page Six. The Bravo alum also alleged that her ex gave her a black eye in 2022. Phypers, however, denied the allegations, telling People that the allegations were 'completely false and deeply hurtful.' He also accused Richards of infidelity.
