Watch: Israeli politician follows Trump and shares AI video of Gaza's future
ALBAWABA - An Israeli politician called Gila Gamliel recently sparked outrage on social media among pro-Palestine activists after sharing an AI video showcasing the future of Gaza, despite the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.
The member of the Israeli Political-Security Cabinet showcased a Gaza similar to US President Donald Trump's recent AI rendition of the Strip, with real estate buildings and resorts replacing the destroyed homes of Palestinians due to constant Israeli bombardment.
Gamliel and Israeli Prime Minister were also featured in the video alongside Trump, who was giving a speech to several Israelis. Additionally, Ivanka Trump and Sarah Netanyahu were also seen walking alongside their husbands, while touring the newly built areas in Gaza.

While not as wild as Trump's "Riviera" rendition, which included bearded belly dancers, golden statues, and more, the video sparked anger among human rights activists who deemed it "disrespectful" and "inhumane" towards the Gazans who lost their homes and are currently suffering from famine due to blocked humanitarian aid.
The AI-generated video even featured a Trump Tower to showcase Israel's political ties with the US.
The video was captioned in Hebrew on X (formerly known as Twitter), "Exposure: This is what Gaza will look like in the future. Voluntary migration of Gazans only with Trump and Netanyahu."
Gamliel added, "It's us or - them! Link to the voluntary migration plan from Gaza that I submitted to the cabinet in the first week of the 'Iron Swords' war on 13.10.23 in the first response."
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in the killing of at least 59,000 Palestinians and the injuring of at least 142,500.
Additionally, in the past 24 hours, over 111 Palestinians have died of hunger, including at least 80 children, according to the Health Ministry of Gaza.

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Saturday approved an amendment to the vehicle plate bylaw aimed at increasing transparency and supporting higher education funding. Under the new regulations, government, temporary import, and diplomatic vehicle plates will feature clear letter codes indicating the entity to which the vehicle belongs, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Department will oversee the implementation procedures for government vehicle plates, and this amendment will not affect the numbering system for private, public, or cargo vehicles. In a move to bolster education funding, the Council of Ministers also decided to allocate all revenues generated from the auction of distinctive vehicle plate numbers, regardless of their coding, to the University Student Support Fund. This measure, effective from the upcoming academic semester, supplements the fund's existing budget, which the government increased by 50 per cent this year to reach JD30 million. The decision will expand the number of university students who benefit from the fund, Petra added. Replacing numeric codes with letters is expected to improve clarity, transparency, and the ability to monitor and track government vehicles more efficiently. The letter-based system is already in use in several countries and is regarded among the best practice globally. The new bylaw also allows for buying and selling vehicle plates without requiring the transfer of vehicle ownership, streamlining administrative procedures.

Israel allows aid air dops to Gaza to resume
GAZA CITY, Palestinian Territories — Israel said Saturday it would allow food to be airdropped to Gaza and designate humanitarian corridors for UN aid convoys, as thousands of Palestinians face the threat of widespread famine. Before Israel announced that the flights would resume, the United Arab Emirates had said it would restart aid drops and Britain said it would work with partners including Jordan to assist them. The decision to apparently loosen up the flow of aid came as the Palestinian civil defence agency said over 50 more Palestinians had been killed in Israeli strikes and shootings Saturday, some as they waited near aid distribution centres. Later Saturday, Israel troops boarded a boat carrying pro-Palestinian activists from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition as it attempted to approach Gaza from the sea, in defiance of an Israeli naval blockade. "The humanitarian airdrop operation will be conducted in coordination with international aid organisations and the [Israeli army], led by COGAT and the IAF," the Israeli statement said, referring to the civilian affairs unit for Palestinian territories and the air force. "In addition, it was decided that designated humanitarian corridors would be established to enable the safe movement of UN convoys delivering food and medicine to the population," the statement said. The statement said this would improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza and disprove "the false claim of deliberate starvation in the Gaza Strip". Humanitarian chiefs are deeply sceptical that airdrops can deliver enough food to tackle the deepening hunger crisis facing Gaza's more than two million inhabitants. They are instead demanding that Israel allow more overland convoys. But British Prime Minister Keir Starmer backed the idea, vowing to work with Jordan to restart airdrops. An Israeli official had told AFP on Friday that airdrops in Gaza would resume soon and that they would be conducted by the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Starmer's office said that in a call with his French and German counterparts, the "prime minister set out how the UK will also be taking forward plans to work with partners such as Jordan to airdrop aid and evacuate children requiring medical assistance". The United Arab Emirates said it would resume airdrops "immediately". Israel pauses military operations in parts of Gaza
