Comedy fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Amazon Prime Video has commissioned a second season of a 'hilarious' show.
The streamer has confirmed that Last One Laughing will return after being hailed as the 'funniest TV show ever' by viewers.
Hosted by Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty, the show sets some of the UK's finest comedians the challenge of not laughing in each other's company.
The inaugural UK Last One Laughing starred Bob Mortimer, Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley, and Richard Ayoade.
Amazon Prime has not yet revealed the fresh batch of comedy talent who will desperately battle to keep a straight face, but did confirm that filming would start late this year.
Last One Laughing's second season will be available to stream on the global platform next year.
Commenting on the recommission, Jimmy, 52, said: 'I'm absolutely delighted that Last One Laughing is coming back for a second series. I think what's happened is someone high up at Amazon has clicked 'subscribe & save' on Prime Video and, hey presto, we're back in business.
'I'm so pleased people had as much fun watching the first season as we had making it. Can't wait to bask in the reflected glory of the next 10 comedy legends taking on the challenge.'
More to follow.
Last One Laughing season 2 is coming to Amazon Prime in 2026.

Leny Yoro names shock ex-Arsenal star as 'toughest striker' he's ever faced

Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has picked out ex-Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette as the toughest striker he has ever come up against on a football pitch. Though still in the infancy of his career, Yoro has already locked horns with some of the finest attacking talent in world football, including Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak and Kylian Mbappe. And given the French centre-back is not even out of his teens, there are sure to be many, many more daunting challenges ahead of him over the coming years. Yoro could be forgiven for wanting United to bring in a high-class centre-forward of their own this summer, with both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee badly struggling to live up to expectations at Old Trafford. Prior to his £52million transfer move from Lille to United, the 19-year-old only had one full season under his belt in senior football with his boyhood team. But the second leg of United's Europa League quarter-final with Lyon in April marked the fifth time that Yoro had gone toe to toe with Lacazette – and it's clear he rates his fellow countryman extremely highly. Lacazette has racked up four goals in his those five meetings with Yoro, leaving a strong impression on the youngster. 'The toughest striker [I've faced]? I would say Lacazette, even in Ligue 1. He was very good,' Yoro told Rising Ballers. 'He's got a lot of experience because he played Premier League and Ligue 1. 'And his positioning in games, sometimes it's difficult for defenders, always in your back.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Yoro opened his account for United in the first leg of the side's quarter-final with Lyon, directing home Manuel Ugarte's scruffy effort with a precise header from close range. 'Honestly, I was not ready to score!' Yoro joked when looking back on the 2-2 draw at Lyon's Groupama Stadium. 'But I didn't want to celebrate because I wanted to play quick to try to win the game. 'I was really happy because my family was there and after the game, they said they were really happy for me and proud so it was good.' Going forward, Yoro is keen to add another string to his bow by bringing more 'aggression' to his game. Asked which area he most needs to improve, Yoro replied: 'Maybe I would say, sometimes, my aggression, being more aggressive. 'With the ball, I need to improve, of course, but I think I'm good so maybe, sometimes, I need to be more aggressive.' Yoro sees his long-term future at United and is desperate to start adding major trophies to his collection sooner rather than later. Quizzed on where he sees himself in five years' time, he responded: 'I hope I will stay here, for sure, in Manchester. '[Hopefully] I can say that I've won some titles and something has changed, maybe I have a child.' For more stories like this, check our sport page. Jeremy Clarkson's daughter made Lisa Hogan 'burst into tears'

The 51-year-old former model and co-star on Amazon's Clarkson's Farm opened up about her life with the ex-Top Gear host, revealing that despite not being engaged, their blended family shares a close bond. Lisa explained that Emily, a social media influencer and author, has previously spoken about her own daughter in such a kind way in the past. I've said it before, but I think Clarkson's Farm is my favourite show of the past 5 years. It's funny and engaging, you learn a heap, and it's done such a great job on showing the world the plight of farmers and how essential they are. And, of course, Jezza is Jezza ❤️ She said: "Emily has this podcast called Shall I Delete That? and she spoke about my daughter in such a sweet way that I burst out crying. They've known each other for nine years, and I think they really care about each other." She also gave insights into Jeremy's personality away from the cameras, describing him as endlessly curious and brimming with energy, even over the smallest things. When discussing the prospect of marriage, Lisa expressed contentment with their relationship as it is, telling the Daily Mail: "Mrs Clarkson? No, thank you, I like Lisa Hogan. "We decided not to have children together." "We're at a stage where we are not going to have kids. I'm just happy pootling along. I think because of our age, it's much easier." Recommended reading: As the new series of Clarkson's Farm hits the screens, Jeremy's health sparked even more concern following his heart surgery last year to fit two stents. Reflecting on the latest episodes, Jeremy observed how he appeared increasingly unwell as the series went on. Speaking to The Sun, Jeremy said: "You can see me becoming more and more ill as the days go on, because I just lose my sense of humour, lose my ability to stay calm. "I get in a proper old panic. I didn't know at the time. I knew I wasn't being me. Because if you don't sleep, it very quickly has an effect."

The Nintendo Switch 2 officially launches on Thursday 5 June – and with stock already tight across major retailers, shoppers are scrambling to find out where they can still buy one. While some sites like Amazon and Argos have paused pre-orders, others are promising new stock drops on launch day. Here's where to look – and how to be first in line when the next-generation console finally lands. There have been some teething issues with the launch of pre orders for the new Switch 2. Pre orders on a number of sites sold out including Very, John Lewis and Argos. Amazon briefly reopened pre orders this week but less than 24 hours later is showing the console out of stock. Currys reportedly cancelled some pre orders amid worries it does not have enough stock and now listed new consoles at £9,999 on its website to deter more orders. The only site currently offering the chance to the pre order the console is Nintendo itself, which has the console priced at £395 and the console bundled with Mario Kart World priced at £429.99 when you sign up for a Nintendo Online subscription here. As the launch date arrives, shoppers will hope Nintendo Switch 2 stock will arrive in store and open online from Thursday, giving people the chance to get their hands on the next generation of the handheld console. Stores are promising more stock will be released on launch date. A listing on the John Lewis website says: 'Pre-orders are now sold out. Available to buy from 5 June 2025.' Only two stores so far have confirmed midnight launch events. Smyths Toys says it will hold events with limited stock across the country, while Currys will hold an event in its Oxford Street store in London but that will only be available for those who have already pre ordered. The first Nintendo Switch console is one of the best-selling of all time with an estimated 150 million sales worldwide. The new and improved second generation is expected to be equally popular and Nintendo has already warned stock may be low in Japan, USA and in the UK. Nintendo expects to sell as many as 15 million new Switch 2 consoles in the first year. However, sales may be slowed by the higher price for the console and games. Mario Kart World, the console's flagship launch game, has breached the £80 mark for the first time on the Nintendo Switch console.
