Sobha Q4 results: Net profit rises multi-fold to ₹40 cr, revenue up 62%

Real estate company Sobha Limited's profit after tax (PAT) increased 481.7 per cent to ₹40.85 crore in the fourth quarter of financial year 2024-25, it had reported a PAT of ₹7.02 crore for the same quarter of previous financial year. The company's revenue from operations rose by 62 per cent to ₹1,240.61 crore in the Q4FY25, it had reported ₹762.86 revenue in the corresponding quarter of FY24. The company has proposed a dividend of ₹3 per equity share for the financial year ending March 31, 2025. This proposal is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
Jagadish Nangineni, Managing Director of Sobha, said, "The fourth quarter of 2024-25 reflected steady and encouraging progress for Sobha."
The company reported a significant 93 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in Profit After Tax (PAT), rising from ₹49 crore in FY24 to ₹95 crore in FY25.
Revenue for FY25 grew by 29 per cent YoY to ₹4,163 crore, compared to ₹3,218 crore in FY24, with Q4 FY25 revenue witnessing a robust 61 per cent YoY growth over Q4 FY24.
Collections in Q4 FY25 stood at ₹1,785 crore, reflecting a 21 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) increase and a 7 per cent YoY growth, while total collections for FY25 reached ₹6,184 crore. Net debt was reduced substantially to ₹630 crore in the March quarter of FY25.
"With the real estate sector continuing to perform well, we see strong potential in the year ahead. The current financial year looks promising, with a robust pipeline of project launches and our planned entry into new cities," Nangineni said.
The company's quarterly sales value reached ₹1,836 crore, reflecting a 32 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) increase.
The average price realization in FY25 rose by 23 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to ₹13,412 per sq. ft.
During Q4 FY25, the total sold area amounted to 1.56 million sq. ft, marking a 53 per cent QoQ growth.
The launched saleable area for FY25 increased by 25 per cent YoY, reaching 8.76 million sq. ft. However, total sales value for FY25 declined by 6 per cent YoY to ₹6,277 crore, compared to ₹6,644 crore in FY24.

The frontline indices traded with moderate losses in early afternoon trade amid global trade tensions. A maximum put OI of 51.3 lakh contracts was seen at a 24,000 strike price. Buzzing Index: The Nifty Realty index rose 1.32% to 984.10. The index rallied 3.66% in the past two trading sessions. Sobha (up 6.39%), Brigade Enterprises (up 3.37%), Macrotech Developers (up 2.14%), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.09%), Oberoi Realty (up 1.46%), Anant Raj (up 1.29%), Godrej Properties (up 0.56%) advanced. On the other hand, Raymond (down 1.63%), Phoenix Mills (down 0.57%) and DLF (down 0.48%) edged lower. Stocks in Spotlight: Larsen & Toubro (L&T) shed 0.99%. The company announced that its water & effluent treatment (WET) vertical has secured significant orders from the Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan. MIC Electronics shed 0.78%. The company said that it has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 1.11 crore from the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Division of East Central Railway.

Sobha gains after Q4 PAT soars 481% YoY to Rs 41 cr
Sobha jumped 3.58% to Rs 1,437.10 after the company's consolidated net profit surged 481.2% to Rs 40.86 crore on 62.6% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 1,240.62 crore in Q4 FY25 over Q4 FY24. Profit before tax (PBT) soared 415.2% YoY to Rs 56.21 crore in the quarter ended 31st March 2025. EBITDA stood at Rs 124.2 crore in Q4 FY25, up 37% compared with Rs 90.5 crore posted in corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA margin reduced 9.8% in Q4 FY25 as against 11.4% in Q4 FY24. In Q4 FY25, total sales value rose 22% year-on-year to Rs 1,836 crore. Average price realization increased 5% YoY to Rs 11,781 per sq ft, while new sales area grew 16% YoY to 1.56 million sq ft in Q4 FY25. Collections for Q4 FY25 stood at Rs 1,785 crore, registering a growth of 7% YoY. For full year, the companys consolidated net profit net profit jumped 92.8% to Rs 94.69 crore on 30.4% increase in net sales to Rs 4,038.69 crore in FY25 over FY24. Sobha shares rise 7% on posting healthy Q4 results; PAT jumps 481% YoY
Sobha share price gained 6.7 per cent in trade on Friday, May 30, 2025, logging an intraday high at ₹1,480.7 per share on BSE. The buying interest sparked after the company posted healthy Q4 results. At 10:26 AM, Sobha share price was up 2.27 per cent at ₹1,418.9 per share on the BSE. In comparison, the BSE Sensex was down 0.27 per cent at 81,411.86.
