Throughout their storied history, the Los Angeles Rams have been the home to a number of amazing players, but few are as recognizable as former defensive lineman Aaron Donald.
After 10 years, he made a significant mark on the franchise, and on Tuesday, the team announced they'd be honoring his legacy during their Sunday Night Football matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Nov. 23 at SoFi Stadium.
This will include a halftime recognition ceremony, as well as a limited-edition bobblehead giveaway, handed out to the first 60,000 fans in attendance.
"Aaron Donald is one of the greatest Rams of all time and we can't wait to come together with our fans to thank him for everything he's done for our organization, our city and our game," Rams General Manager Les Snead said via the team's official website. "It will be an honor to recognize Aaron on the very field where he sealed our Super Bowl win."
It's certainly well deserved because from 2014 to 2023, Donald was named to 10 Pro Bowls, earned First-Team All-Pro eight times, won AP Defensive Player of the Year three times and helped win one Super Bowl.
All of those accolades are backed by 543 tackles, 111 sacks, 176 tackles for loss, 258 pressures (recorded since 2018), 260 quarterback hits, 24 forced fumbles, 21 pass deflections and seven fumble recoveries.
Of course, there's no doubt he lived up to the high expectations he held coming into the league after the Rams selected him in the first round with pick No. 13 in the 2014 NFL Draft.
This certainly won't be the last time Donald earns such a high honor either, as he will be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2029, where there's a very strong chance he will be a first-ballot selection.This story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 10, 2025, where it first appeared.

While Rice has been an impressive breakout star in his first full season, not even a propensity for mammoth home runs stands to keep him in the lineup. Rice enters Tuesday hitting .241 with 12 homers, 25 RBI, and a .825 OPS through 218 plate appearances. Rice ranks 34th among all qualified hitters in OPS, and his .497 slugging percentage is 24th in the league. Most teams would kill for production like that, but most teams aren't the Yankees. Stanton's contract all but guarantees him a spot as the Yankees' DH, and Paul Goldschmidt is enjoying an All-Star-caliber season at first base. That doesn't leave many at-bats for Rice, especially because the Yankees remain committed to Austin Wells at catcher. SNY's Andy Martino recently dismissed the idea the Yankees should demote Rice to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre so he can get regular at-bats. Martino instead proposed the Yankees work to play Stanton, Rice, and Goldschmidt at least two out of every three games. Martino also reported that the Yankees do not intend to play Rice anywhere but at catcher, first base, or designated hitter. "Rice is closer to gracing the cover of 'MLB: The Show' than he is to earning a trip to Scranton," Martino wrote. Either way, the Yankees find themselves in a difficult situation, one where there are too many hitters with too few at-bats to go around. HONOLULU (KHON2) — Many are excited and ready for the NFL's Los Angeles Rams to host their summer mini-camp in Wailuku next week. Officials hope this showcases how these partnerships can give a much-needed boost to our tourism industry. The Yaroshuk family hasn't been to Hawaii in 18 years. So they're soaking up every minute they can. The Los Angeles Rams are heading to Maui next summer 'Just a nice getaway,' said Lina Yaroshuk, a visitor from Toronto. 'Just 10 days away from the usual you know, people wanna go somewhere on holidays where they can just relax, do some hiking, you know visit some areas you haven't seen in a while.' They're not the only ones returning to the islands this summer. The Los Angeles Rams are ready for their Maui mini-camp next week. 'Let's not kid ourselves, we're not getting anything football wise done, but it'll be a cool trip to be able to connect, so we'll enjoy it and look forward to it next week,' said Sean Mcvay, Los Angeles Rams head coach.'Every time we have something big come to the state, whether it's a training camp for a football or a concert, revenue generally rises because many people from around the country fly over,' said Rep. Adrian Tam, House Tourism Committee chair. The timing couldn't be better. Even though the state says visitors numbers are up so far this year compared to last year, they're expecting a modest slowdown during summer. According to a statement from Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism Director James Tokioka, caused by political and economic uncertainties both nationally and internationally. 'I don't understand, Just have a look around, everybody could enjoy yourself for sure,' Yaroshuk said. 'You know what I've got a few more days, I'm looking forward to renting a car and going further up north, just exploring more of what the island has to offer,' Yaroshuk said.
