Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, died in a Florida hospital on Thursday morning, days after his ex-wife shared a throwback picture of him.
Early reports indicated he died of cardiac arrest, police confirmed to The U.S. Sun.
The iconic wrestler publicly suffered through surgeries and hospitalizations for chronic neck and back pain caused by years of heavy weight-training and brawling in the ring.
Just last month, he was hospitalized for lingering neck and back pain, sparking rumors on social media that Hogan was on his "death bed."
Hogan's representatives said he was hospitalized due to "more of the same ailments" that he had for years, TMZ reported at the time.
He reportedly underwent a surgery described as a "little fusion procedure."
LOST FEELING IN LEGS
In January 2023, friend and fellow wrestler Kurt Angle revealed Hogan lost all feeling in the lower half of his body after a recent back surgery.
Speaking on his self-titled program, The Kurt Angle Show, Angle said, "He had the nerves cut from his lower body. He can't feel his lower body. So [he] uses his cane to walk around."
He added, "I thought he was using the cane because he had pain in his back.
"He doesn't have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can't feel anything."
Hogan's representative denied Angler's claim at the time and said that he wasn't paralyzed.
'Everything is OK with him. Hulk is someone with a lot of humour," the spokesperson told Entertainment Tonight.
In February 2023, Hogan was pictured walking with a cane.

Fox & Friends host sparks red faces and guffaws by making X-rated mistake

Fox & Friends' Brian Kilmeade accidentally said '69' during a segment about James Comey - sending his cohosts into hysterics. The anchor was in the process of slamming the former FBI director when he made the flub. The word '69', in some settings, is slang for a sex act. The numeral he had intended to use was '86', co-host Ainsley Earhardt quickly pointed out. Laughter ensued, as the latter is another slang term largely used in hospitality, when referring to a menu item that is out of stock. It can also mean 'getting rid' of a person or product - a definition that saw many accuse Comey of calling for the assassination of Donald Trump back in May. Comey, back then, uploaded a picture that showed an assortment of shells arranged to spell out: '86 47.' The missive appeared to reference the conservative, who is the 47th president of the United States. Comey insisted he stumbled across the message himself as others continue to use the numerical sequence to also call for the conservative's impeachment. He found himself at the center of the Fox & Friends discussion following a separate post where he outed himself as a fan of Taylor Swift. In it, Comey also panned Trump as an 'elderly, makeup-covered president' - causing Kilmeade to rush to his defense. 'Meanwhile, if you talk about a guy that's absolutely unhinged and lost his mind. He is 6-foot-7. He is James Comey,' the anchor said. 'This guy, who is walking on the beach and sees a mysterious configurations of rocks [and says] "Maybe it's a natural phenomenon - that say 69."' Earhardt immediately interrupted: '86-47,' putting particular emphasis on the first number. 'Eighty-six, rather,' Kilmeade quickly replied, before adding, '86-47.' He went on to own up to the moment by asking aloud: '69? What was I thinking?' His cohosts, Earhardt and cohost Lawrence B. Jones, had been visibly holding in there laughter. Following the admission, the could not contain themselves any longer, each letting out a laugh. Kilmeade cracked as well, but pressed forth with his criticism. He slammed Comey for continuing to speak out against the administration nearly a decade after he ended a federal investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's use of her personal email during the 2016 election. Kilmeade uploaded a picture in May that showed an assortment of shells arranged to spell out: '86 47.' The missive appeared to reference the conservative, the 47th US president. '86' is another slang term largely used in hospitality, when referring to a menu item that is out of stock Comey found that while Clinton's use of a personal email address to send and receive classified messages was 'extremely careless', but not enough to press charges to due a perceived lack of 'criminal intent.' 'Multiple investigations have him going back to 2016 in cahoots with Hillary Clinton and company to cut the knees out of the first Trump administration, he has not stopped posting,' Kilmeade claimed. 'Well, he's a Swifty,' Jones chimed in. 'What guy does that?' he added, referring to Comey's video. 'Nobody,' Kilmeade answered. Onlookers on X couldn't help but poke fun at the exchange, with one taking the time to 'comfort' Kilmeade following his mistake: 'It's ok Kilmeade! Comey '69's himself!' 'Brian @Kilmeade had "69" on his mind,' another joked.

Kevin Costner's surprising career U-turn after Yellowstone bitter exit and $100M Horizon flop

Kevin Costner has made a surprising career move following his bitter departure from the hit TV show Yellowstone after five seasons and box office flop, Horizon. On Monday, Amazon MGM Studios announced the two-time Oscar winner, 70, signed on to star in their upcoming dramedy, Honeymoon with Harry, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. The film centers on a man (Gyllenhaal) who, just days before his wedding, loses his fiancée. In the wake of her sudden death, he chooses to embark on the planned honeymoon trip with his would-be father-in-law (Kostner). Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are set to direct the movie, based on Bart Baker's 2016 book Honeymoon with Harry. This marks Costner's first project since Horizon's lackluster box office performance. After a tough opening weekend upon its release on June 28, 2024, the father-of-seven insisted he was 'really happy' that Horizon 'like what it's supposed to look like' on the big screen. 'That's really important to me in this process,' he told Entertainment Weekly. 'Would I love that it would be highly, highly successful? 'Of course, I'd like that. My ego would like that; everyone would like that. But I am happiest that the movie that you and I are talking about looks the way I want it to look.' In June, the Yellowstone alum announced that he has no intention of slowing down anytime soon. 'I don't even think about retiring, because I'll just move to the next thing that captures my imagination,' he told People. Costner further explained that his own imagination 'is what determines what I do, not a boss.' The Dances with Wolves added, 'I've felt really lucky in my life. I'd like to think that I worked for all of it, but not everybody can live by the same blueprint.' In regards to having a 'bucket list' of what he still wants to do with his career, the actor stated, 'I don't have those things. 'I have that list, [but] I don't refer to it that way. But certainly my eyes and my enthusiasms are wide open and very big.' Costner added that he has 'enjoyed life and imagining what I can do, what can I be about and what makes a difference. Not only to me, but to other people. What just satisfies me? 'I go through that whole idea, and you realize it's about time. It's a rush to get to all of them.' The actor has previously touched on his future in the industry, including during a conversation with AARP in 2019. When questioned if he 'ever thinks' about retiring, the Hollywood star replied, 'I really feel like some of the great surprises I have are in front of me. 'As I play out the second half of my career, I've been doing a lot of writing, and there are projects I still want to do.' He further expressed that his 'life is a lot more than movies. I just periodically pop up in them. In between, I'm living my other life.' Costner began his career when he took on a role in the 1981 movie Sizzle Beach, U.S.A. - also known as Malibu Hot Summer. He went on to make appearances in other films such as Fandango (1985) and The Untouchables (1987). Kevin worked alongside other stars such as Robert De Niro, Andy Garcia and Sean Connery in the crime film - which garnered four Oscar nominations. In 1990, Costner both starred in and directed the Western epic Dances With Wolves - which won him Best Picture and Best Director the following year at the Academy Awards. Other movies the actor is known for is Field Of Dreams (1989), The Bodyguard (1992), Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves (1991), Wyatt Earp (1994), Open Range (2003) and Man Of Steel (2013). While Kevin has spent many years on the big screen, he has also taken on roles in television projects - such as the 2012 miniseries Hatfields & McCoys which earned him an Emmy win. He notably portrayed the character of rancher John Dutton in Taylor Sheridan's neo-Western drama series Yellowstone. In 2024, Costner starred in, wrote and directed Horizon: An American Saga - which is set to be followed by three additional movies. The second part premiered earlier this year at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in February. It was also screened during the 81st Venice Film Festival last year in September. Chapter 2 was set to hit theaters also last year - however due to low box office numbers, a new release date has yet to be confirmed.

What Hulk Hogan reportedly thought of Newsom

The press office of California Gov. Gavin Newsom recently posted a meme featuring the late Hulk Hogan watching over him - but the WWE icon reportedly 'couldn't stand' the Democratic politician. The sarcastic AI-generated image featured Kid Rock, Tucker Carlson and Hogan (with a halo over his head) with their hands on the shoulders of a sitting Newsom. Linda told the outlet that 'it would be a cold day in hell' for her husband to support Newsom. Paraphrasing their conversation with Lisa, TMZ also wrote that Hogan was ' as far from liberal as you can get,' and that Lisa found the post to be 'pretty lame' (the 'couldn't stand' phrasing was also TMZ's). In fact Hogan, spoke at last year's Republican National Convention in support of Trump, and the president expressed his condolences for his death on Truth Social after his passing in July. 'We lost a great friend today, the 'Hulkster.' Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way -- Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart,' Trump said. 'He gave an absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention, that was one of the highlights of the entire week.' 'He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive. To his wife, Sky, and family, we give our warmest best wishes and love. Hulk Hogan will be greatly missed!' Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, passed away from a heart attack on July 24 - roughly two-and-a-half weeks before what would have been his 72nd birthday. Hogan had also been estranged from Brooke for years (they did reconcile before his death), and the Daily Mail previously reported that she was 'overwhelmed and emotionally drained' following his death. Brooke did not attend Hogan's funeral with family and friends but later held her own memorial for the WWE legend.
