Arnold man finds 'good omen' in his lunchtime snack
A man from Arnold had a lovely lunchtime surprise when he found a heart-shaped crisp in his crisp packet. 'Nottingham has a lot of bad news, so it is nice to be reminded of the little joys," said Paul Eatherington.
The 37-year-old man found the crisp during his lunch in a Snackrite crisp packet bought at the Aldi in Netherfield.
'It is my first time finding anything like this. I always see it on the internet and it makes my day, but I have never found any tokens like this in real life," he said. 'It is a good omen that made me smile."

He has kept the heart crisp in a box to preserve it.
A few years ago, this find could have made him a fortune in different circumstances. In 2023, Walkers launched a UK-wide hunt for the best heart-shaped crisp, earning its finder a hefty £100,000 reward.
Following this challenge, many people took to social media to share their finds. 'We wanted to bring a little joy and levity to people's lives to start the year,' said Walkers senior marketing manager, Rachael Smith.

Twilight flights to return to Clacton Airshow
Twilight flights will return to the Clacton Airshow in August by popular demand, a council has announced. This year's twilight theme will be Legends After Dark, with a debut from the P-51D Mustang "Moonbeam McSwine", which was pivotal in helping Britain achieve air superiority during World War Two. Meanwhile the pyrotechnics of the Firebirds Aerobatic Team and Otto the Helicopter - complete with fireworks and smoke - will return to the line-up. Ivan Henderson, deputy leader of Tendring District Council (TDC), said: "The twilight display is a real showstopper – a spectacular fusion of light, sound and aviation skill that brings a whole new energy to the seafront." The annual airshow attracts tens of thousands of visitors with a mix of historical and modern aircraft. This year will also see appearances from the RAF Red Arrows and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The display will take place on the opening day of the two-day event, which runs from Thursday 21 August to Friday 22 August. Henderson continued: "It's the perfect way to extend the excitement into the evening and gives even more people the chance to experience the magic of the airshow. "Whether you're a lifelong aviation enthusiast or just looking for a unique summer evening out, the twilight flights are not to be missed." Operated by the restored Mustang is painted in tribute to Captain William T. Whisner's original World War Two fighter, which flew with the 487th Fighter Squadron in England. Red Nova IT Solutions sponsor the twilight flights, and its director, Rob Norris, said: "We're thrilled to once again support the twilight display – it's a true highlight of the summer and a brilliant showcase for Clacton. "The airshow brings the community together and draws visitors from far and wide, and we're proud to be part of something that puts our town on the map." Jonathan Bailey Reveals He Has a Clarinet Solo in 'Jurassic World Rebirth': 'The Nerd in Me Erupted Like Vesuvius'
Jonathan Bailey recalled the "emotional" experience of getting to play a clarinet solo on the score for his new movie Jurassic World Rebirth "I ended up playing the theme of Dr. Henry Loomis, the character I play [in the film]," Bailey said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday, June 25 "It just shows that if you find something you love and you commit to it, you never know how it comes full circle," he addedJonathan Bailey got to go full music geek for Jurassic World Rebirth. The 37-year-old actor stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, June 25, where he revealed the story behind his clarinet solo on the upcoming movie's score. "This really was a highlight of my career. The nerd in me erupted like Vesuvius," he began, before launching into how it all came to be during his run of Richard II in London. As Bailey recalled, Rebirth director Gareth Edwards told him they'd be recording Alexandre Desplat's new score (incorporating some from John Williams' iconic original) at nearby Abbey Road Studios. And once he arrived, "I sat with my mate at the top just to watch, and got goosebumps" as he took in the "105-piece world-class orchestra," the Bridgerton star told host Jimmy Fallon. "As the week progressed," Bailey continued, "I came back and I was like, 'Can I bring my clarinet?' I played the clarinet in school. And on the Friday, they said, 'Look, you can come.' " "I just wanted to play one — even if it was, like, one slightly sharp note. ... Would've been my dream come true," the actor said. That wish-granting came to fruition (and then some) when a clarinet solo came up. Bailey admitted he was at first hesitant and declined Desplat's offer to play while being surrounded by "world-class musicians" — but he felt immediate regret. So once another clarinet solo came up, "[Desplat] said, 'It's now or never.' And I just went, 'Okay, let's do it.' And I ended up playing the theme of Dr. Henry Loomis, the character I play [in the film] ... on the clarinet, which is in the score." is now available in the Apple App Store! Bailey's clarinet skills go back to his childhood more than 30 years ago — in 1993, the same year Jurassic Park premiered — when his grandfather gave him his first version of the instrument. "I got given a plastic clarinet by my granddad," said the Wicked star, continuing with a laugh, "who I think won it in a pub. And I started playing then." "It just shows that if you find something you love and you commit to it, you never know how it comes full circle," Bailey added. "But honestly, it was so emotional."
