Arnold man finds 'good omen' in his lunchtime snack
A man from Arnold had a lovely lunchtime surprise when he found a heart-shaped crisp in his crisp packet. 'Nottingham has a lot of bad news, so it is nice to be reminded of the little joys," said Paul Eatherington.
The 37-year-old man found the crisp during his lunch in a Snackrite crisp packet bought at the Aldi in Netherfield.
'It is my first time finding anything like this. I always see it on the internet and it makes my day, but I have never found any tokens like this in real life," he said. 'It is a good omen that made me smile."

He has kept the heart crisp in a box to preserve it.
A few years ago, this find could have made him a fortune in different circumstances. In 2023, Walkers launched a UK-wide hunt for the best heart-shaped crisp, earning its finder a hefty £100,000 reward.
Following this challenge, many people took to social media to share their finds. 'We wanted to bring a little joy and levity to people's lives to start the year,' said Walkers senior marketing manager, Rachael Smith.
