Heidi Klum is starting her first-ever 'worm and parasite cleanse'... three years after THAT Halloween costume

Daily Mail06-08-2025
Heidi Klum just revealed she's embarking on her first-ever worm and parasite cleanse.
'I heard that you're supposed to do this once a year, and I've never done it. So I feel like I'm really behind. I don't know what the heck is going to come out,' the German 52-year-old told the Wall Street Journal on Monday.
'I'm starting this now, and you have to do this for months. It's like a whole thing.'
Heidi went on to claim that every human being has parasites and worms inside their body, especially if you enjoy raw fish.
'If you are someone who eats raw things every now and then, like, for example, sushi. There are pills [to get rid of them],' Klum explained.
'They have all of these herbs. There's a lot of clove in there. The parasite hates clove. They also hate the seeds from a papaya. We have all this metal inside of us, and it's also very important that you use this de-metaling stuff.'
Ironically, the self-proclaimed 'Queen of Halloween' dressed up as an earthworm during her 21st annual bash at Sake No Hana in Manhattan's Lower East Side back in 2022.
As usual, Heidi collaborated with Oscar-nominated, special effects make-up artist Mike Marino and his Prosthetic Renaissance team of 15 on the epic prosthetic costume.
Klum will next appear on ABC's Good Morning America this Wednesday to promote the 21st season of Project Runway.
The Emmy-winning host reunites with her America's Got Talent judge Sofia Vergara on the next episode of the reality TV design competition airing this Thursday on Freeform, Disney+, and Hulu.
OG Project Runway judge Nina García and celebrity stylist Law Roach joined Klum as judges while Project Runway season 4 champ Christian Siriano returned as mentor to the designers.
Heidi previously hosted Project Runway for 16 seasons spanning 2004-2018 before exiting to co-host rival competition Making the Cut on Amazon Prime Video alongside Tim Gunn for three seasons spanning 2020-2022.
'Project Runway is my first television baby,' Klum gushed to the WSJ.
'It's something that I have helped create, help sell to the network that ended up choosing us at the time. I love the show. I'm proud of the show.
'I feel like we've come a long way. We talked about important things on the show that were kind of groundbreaking, I thought, at the time, including body positivity. So I feel like, "Yes, I'm coming back." But you know, in my heart, I was never really gone.'
In February, Spice Girls alum Mel B officially replaced Heidi as judge on the 20th season of America's Got Talent, which currently airs Tuesdays on NBC/Peacock.
On the personal front, the Erewhon brand ambassador and her third husband - Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz - celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on Monday.
At 35, the German rocker is 17 years younger than Klum, but they've been going strong since meeting on the set of Germany's Next Topmodel in 2018.
The Calzedonia brand ambassador welcomed four children - daughter Leni, 21 (with Flavio Briatore); son Henry, 19; son Johan, 18; and daughter Lou, 15 - during her seven-year marriage to second ex-husband Seal, which ended in 2012.

Revealed: How Mats Hummels 'reacted to his ex-wife's fury' after she complained their son, 7, 'had NOT been invited' to Borussia Dortmund farewell match - while he celebrated with model girlfriend 10 years his junior

Mats Hummels' ex-wife has revealed how the Germany star reacted after she furiously complained that their son, 7, had not been invited to his Borussia Dortmund farewell match last week. The 36-year-old defender, who left Dortmund at the end of the 2023-24 season, returned to the club for a farewell friendly match between his old team and Juventus last Sunday. Hummels captained the Bundesliga side for the opening 18 minutes of the match, officially marking his retirement from professional football in front of 80,000 fans at the Signal Iduna Park. The former Germany international, who made 508 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund, was surprisingly not joined by his son Ludwig at the match - and was instead cheered on by his 26-year-old model girlfriend Nicola Cavanis. On the morning of the match, Hummels' ex-wife Cathy shared a photo of their son on social media, showing the seven-year-old next to a newspaper featuring Hummels on the back page with the headline 'Mats gut'. She wrote: 'Someone stole my cap and read about Dad's farewell in the newspaper. So he knows what it was like'. In a follow-up message later in the day, Cathy angrily confirmed that she had been unaware of Hummels' farewell match and claimed she had only discovered it when reading the newspaper. She wrote: 'To clarify, we are not intentionally missing Mats Hummels' final game. I put my son an extra newspaper so he can read everything.' 'The reason we are NOT there is simply gone: We were NOT invited or knew about it. We are now enjoying our wonderful vacation with the family again. 'Goodbye Aussenrist 15. Congratulations on your remarkable career.' Hummels reportedly declined to comment when contacted by Bild for a response to his ex-wife's claim. Now, Cathy has revealed how the footballer responded to her frustration, admitting the 'unfortunate' situation has now been resolved. In a new Instagram story, she said: 'I am a lion mum, and if my son is wronged or treated unfairly, I will fight for him. He is my everything. 'Mats apologised to him, and so I'm also appeased. The matter was unfortunate, but it's now resolved.' Cavanis earned fame by modelling for a series of brands including Nivea and Victoria's Secret Cathy pictured with the Germany international at Oktoberfest in Munich back in 2017 Cathy had previously claimed in a separate interview with Bild that she was 'raising (their) son more or less on (her) own'. Hummels had split with his ex-wife in 2022 following seven years of marriage. A year later, Hummels went public with his new girlfriend Cavanis, who has earned fame by modelling for the likes of Nivea, Puma, Victoria's Secret, MCM, New Yorker and Tchibo. Hummels had represented Dortmund in two spells, with the defender initially playing for the club between 2009 and 2016, before moving to Bayern Munich. He returned for a second spell between 2019 and 2024, with the latter ending after an alleged bust-up with then manager Edin Terzic after the Champions League final last year. Hummels then had a season in Serie A with Roma, before the veteran defender opted to retire this summer. He claimed five Bundesliga titles during his career, two with Dortmund and three with Bayern, along with three German Cups and five Super Cups.

Weinstein could be sentenced next month, but only if there's no retrial on an unresolved rape charge

Harvey Weinstein faces sentencing and a possible retrial in his New York City sex crimes case, but when they'll happen — and whether he'll be back in front of another jury — is still up in the air. Manhattan Judge Curtis Farber said Wednesday he could sentence Weinstein on Sept. 30 — but only if there's no retrial on a rape charge that the last jury failed to reach a verdict on. Weinstein, 73, was convicted in June of forcing oral sex on TV and movie production assistant and producer Miriam Haley in 2006. The charge carries a possible sentence of up to 25 years in prison. At the same time, the jury acquitted him of forcing oral sex on another woman, one-time model Kaja Sokola, but couldn't decide a charge that he raped hairstylist and actor Jessica Mann in 2013. Manhattan prosecutors told Farber that they're ready to take Weinstein to trial for a third time on the rape charge, which is punishable by up to four years in prison. That's less time than Weinstein has already served. Mann is on board to testify again, they said. Prosecutors requested a January trial date, citing witness availability and their own caseload. Farber balked at that, saying a January date is too far away and conflicts with another, unrelated trial he's already scheduled. He proposed having the trial in the fall. 'The case needs to be tried this year,' Farber said. Weinstein lawyer Arthur Aidala agreed, telling Farber he'd prefer a trial at 'the earliest the court can accommodate us.' Assistant District Attorney Nicole Blumberg said she would ask Mann and other witnesses about their availability for a trial in the fall. If a fall trial happens, it would likely put Weinstein's high-profile #MeToo case back in court as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is in the final throes of his reelection bid. Bragg, a first-term Democrat who made prosecuting sex crimes cases a priority, has expressed satisfaction with Weinstein's conviction on a criminal sex act charge in the Haley assault and has been resolute in wanting the Oscar-winning studio boss retried on the Mann rape charge. 'The jury was not able to reach a conclusion as to Ms. Mann, and she deserves that,' Bragg said in June. 'This work, first and foremost, is about the survivors and that's why we're prepared to go forward.' Aidala told reporters outside court that, in his view, it's on prosecutors to resolve the rape charge — either by dropping it and clearing the way for sentencing, or promptly taking it to trial again. Weinstein sat in court in a wheelchair while wearing a blue suit and black-rimmed glasses. The 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Shakespeare in Love' producer is committed to fighting the rape charge at another trial, Aidala said, though the lawyer didn't rule out the possibility of reaching a deal with prosecutors to end the case. For now, the trial date remains unresolved, leaving Weinstein's possible Sept. 30 sentencing in limbo. At Weinstein's first trial in 2020, jurors convicted him of raping Mann and forcing oral sex on production assistant and producer Miriam Haley. Then an appeals court overturned those convictions and sent the case back for retrial because of legal issues involving other women's testimony. This spring, a new jury convicted him again of sexually assaulting Haley and acquitted him of doing the same to another woman who wasn't part of the first trial. But amid fractious deliberations, the majority-female jury got stuck on the charge related to Mann. Mann has testified that she also had a consensual, on-and-off relationship with the then-married Weinstein, but that she told him 'I don't want to do this' as he cornered her in the hotel room. She said he persevered with advances and demands until she 'just gave up.' Weinstein already stands convicted of sex crimes in California. He denies all of the allegations against him.

Wegovy – a modified version of type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic – and Mounjaro are the leading weight loss injections used in both the US and the UK. How do they work? The jabs work by suppressing your appetite, making you eat less so your body burns fat for energy instead and you lose weight. They do this my mimicking a hormone called GLP-1, which signals to the brain when the stomach is full, so the drugs are officially called GLP-1 receptor agonists. They slow down digestion and increase insulin production, lowering blood sugar, which is why they were first developed to treat type 2 diabetes in which patients' sugar levels are too high. Are there any risks? Yes – side effects are common but most are relatively mild. Around half of people taking the drug experience gut issues, including sickness, bloating, acid reflux, constipation and diarrhoea. Dr Sarah Jarvis, GP and clinical consultant at said: 'One of the more uncommon side effects is severe acute pancreatitis, which is extremely painful and happens to one in 500 people.' Other uncommon side effects include altered taste, kidney problems, allergic reactions, gallbladder problems and hypoglycemia. Evidence has so far been inconclusive about whether the injections are damaging to patients' mental health. Figures obtained by The Sun show that, up to January 2025, 85 patient deaths in the UK were suspected to be linked to the medicines Rosie revealed she was using mounjaro back in January 2023. After moving to Ireland, she said, "I've lost more weight. "I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight.
