6. A "Shower Cat" that'll be a hit with folks who spend half their time in the shower making hair art on the walls, which inevitably ends up clogging the drain. TMI? This makes catching your hair *much* easier and gives it a proper place while you finish sudsing up.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Shower Cat is a small business established in 2021 specializing in products to prevent shower clogs.
Promising review: "I first saw this product on TikTok and I knew immediately that I needed it. I just moved into a new apartment and I didn't want to be how I used to be, where I'd just let hair go down the drain and plug it eventually, or peel it off of the drain after each shower. It works great but I probably need some practice with it. I currently just floss my hair through it so it will hold them and there are a few stray hairs that don't stick. I would recommend to anyone who is tired of putting your loose strands of hair on the shower wall." — Cari Schwartzkopf
Get it from Amazon for $14.95 (available in two colors).

8. A cloud light that'll turn any regular room into a rave-worthy wonderland. Or a soothing sanctuary — you do you.
Be sure to download the app so you can try out all the color combinations! And to sync to your phone, simply connect the two via Bluetooth
Promising review: "My child has been asking for a cloudscape on her wall/celling for some time now and after I saw this product in the reviews I took a risk and bought two of them. I was shocked at how many accessories for hanging these up and securing the cords to the ceiling and wall came with the product. And the options for different type of hanging and adhesion were plentiful. I was able to hang the clouds up in probably a total of 10 minutes. After fluffing the clouds a bit and letting my daughter pick the exact right spot we were so happy with the result! The brightness, color options, pattern options, etc were endless. My daughter enjoys having the app on her phone because it makes it fun to create the mood she is looking for, depending one the occasion (she also likes to mess with me by making them blink or change when she's not in the room and I am in there picking up laundry or what have you). She also enjoys having the timer feature so that she can go to sleep with it on. Overall, I'm very impressed and highly recommend this product!" — JHay

11. A roll of scented liners that'll turn your underwear drawer into your very own version of the wardrobe in The Chronicles of Narnia — transporting you to the gardens surrounding Queen Charlotte's palace in Bridgerton every time you reach for a pair of briefs.
Merriton is a woman-owned small biz that specializes in scented liners for dressers and linen closets.
Oh! And be sure to lay it flat after unrolling and put something heavy on it before putting it in your drawer so the edges don't start to currl up when you install it.
Promising review:"This is a traditional scented drawer liner paper — the kind people used for decades before modern adhesive (plastic) papers — and it's beautiful. I purchased the royal bloom scent, and it smells like fresh pears. The paper comes in a tight roll, and I suggest reverse rolling or laying it flat and weighing it down for a night before installing it. I very much prefer non-adhesive paper like this because it is easy to install and replace, but also because it is old-school elegance." — Trillium

Promising review:"This product is just AMAZING!!! I waited a few months before writing this review because I wanted to test the product first. I am just AMAZED! I have to say...depending on the season and the place on the spike where you apply it, you either get a keiki or new flower spike (which is awesome!). Based on my experiments, the lower on the spike, the more chances to get a keiki. The higher on the spike, the more chances to get a new flower spike. If you apply it during winter (tropical area winter), you will more likely get flower spikes. If you apply it during summer (tropical areas), you will more likely get a keiki — at least that's what I observed!" — Anne-Isabelle Bonifassi
Get it from Amazon for $18.97 (available in three pack sizes).
13. A JetKids ride-on carry-on suitcase you may feel all braggy about when you see other parents at the airport with exhausted kids who are sick of traveling before they even board. Once you're in your seats, this transforms into a leg rest or in-flight bed to give your kids some extra space. Long-haul flights are about to get a smidge more manageable.
It's recommended for kids ages 3–7 and fits most standard economy seats. Plus, it has an adjustable strap so you can carry it over your shoulder, a top handle, and a mattress inside that can be removed and used while in the flight. Promising review:"I can't tell you how surprised and delighted we were at the rainbow effect this film has. I bought it to make a window overlooking the street more private, and I thought I would appreciate seeing the rainbow colors on the window itself. So I bought a second roll to put on one of our master bedroom windows that overlooks our neighbor's patio so I don't have to draw the curtains. My son loves it! He gets so excited when it turns green and he can get out of bed, or when he wakes up and it is green. It seems to have helped train him to sleep in longer. It is easy to set up. Our only complaint is the light from the indicator (red, yellow, green) is soooo bright. We tip the clock on its face so his room does not light up. He can still see the color, so it's fine. But I do wish we could dim it. Don't let this stop you from getting it though, it was worth every penny!" — JW

The knobs have a neat texture and are adjustable so you can time it just right for Pop Tarts, toast, or toasted sandwich bread. Cons: My husband is a little jealous of how much I love this toaster, and has been asking me if it is better than him. What could I say? I mean it makes TOAST, all he makes is methane gas so... How Mike Flanagan Will Make ‘Carrie' Feel Like a New Story
Horror and literature fans alike will be excited to hear that seasoned Stephen King cinematic universe storyteller Mike Flanagan has something new planned for his Carrie adaptation. The eight episode mini-series proposed by Amazon was an idea Flanagan initially balked at. He told Variety, 'I initially thought, 'Why? It's been done.' You can't blame him for hesitating; the book has already been adapted several times. But after giving it considerable thought, he said, 'I found an answer to that question, and it made me very excited.' He then turned to someone who obviously needed to be part of the discussion: famed horror author Stephen King, who Flanagan has had a fruitful working relationship with—including on his current feature The Life of Chuck. 'But when I went to Steve, his answer was 'Why?' His first response was, 'Leave her alone. She's been through enough.' But it's that thing where the more information I could share, and sending him the bible and the plan for the show, he could see the thing we were trying to do that was new.' Flanagan explained. 'Then he said without giving away too much, 'Ohh, now I'm interested, just as a fan. I'm excited to see where this goes.' Once he said yes, then we were off, because if Steve had said no, I wouldn't do it. So the relationship has evolved, but he's always remained incredibly respectful of separating the book and the movie.' The Doctor Sleep filmmaker seeks to modernize the narrative we know about Carrie's struggle to fit in, not just at school but at home. How that would transform in the digital age informed his take. 'The thing I would say is the original story is half a century old and it's wonderful. Its themes were about youth and bullying and the consequences of that. I believe that in today's modern world, the power of what it means to be a bully, the breadth of that and the impact of bullying, have changed a lot,' he said. 'The central tenets are still the same, but it's about much more than Carrie White,' Flanagan teased, hinting that while other on-screen adaptations centered on Carrie, he plans on deeper explorations of the other characters and world around her as well. 'I can't really talk about what we're doing, I can only really talk about what we're not doing. We're not retelling the story as it's been told, and we're not making a show about telekinesis. It's in there, but that's not what it's about,' he said, ruling out about leaning too much into Carrie's supernatural inclinations. 'There's a version of it where Carrie White carries a tragic superhero origin story that goes horribly wrong. I feel like they've done that, too.' This new version of the story will seemingly tie into how social structures have become more toxic, in the age of online platforms becoming places of radicalization even when kids leave schools. 'We're focused way more on the destruction of a community through these very modern tools. What happens in a world where the internet has created an environment of perceived anonymity? Carrie White in the locker room in every iteration is a horrifying scene,' he said. 'Carrie White in the locker room when people have phones in their hands is a whole different thing.' That definitely brings to mind contemporary youth-centered dramas such as Adolescence but by way of Stephen King Horror—and we can't wait to see what Flanagan comes up with.

How Sheinelle Jones Is Coping After Husband Uche Ojeh's Death: What ‘Today' Cohosts Have Said
The hosts of Today have offered some insight into how Sheinelle Jones has been coping with the death of her husband, Uche Ojeh. On May 23, Savannah Guthrie announced on the NBC morning show that Ojeh died at age 45 after a private battle with the brain cancer glioblastoma. 'There are no words for the pain that we feel for Sheinelle and their three young children,' she said. 'Uche was an incredible person. We all loved him.' Jones — who has been absent from Today since December 2024 to deal with her husband's health — met Ojeh in the '90s during their time at Northwestern University. They tied the knot in 2008 and went on to welcome three kids: son Kayin, 15, and twins Clara and Uche, 12. 'We just want to say Sheinelle, Kayin, little Uche and Clara, the Ojeh family, we are with you,' Guthrie added. 'We love you. You are our family, and we are just sending all of our love to you right now.' Celebs and Journalists Rally Around Today's Sheinelle Jones After Death of Husband Uche Ojeh Jones broke her silence on Ojeh's death via Instagram that same day, writing, 'Thank you, for all of your love and support.' A source later told Us Weekly that 'there is no timing on when she will be back' on Today, adding that Jones is 'focusing on her family' at this time. Several Today hosts supported Jones at Ojeh's funeral on May 30, including , Al Roker, Craig Melvin and Hoda Kotb. Scroll down to see what the Today hosts have said about how Jones is dealing with her husband's death: 'Sheinelle has been such a warrior, and she has stepped up and shown what love is and what love does for her husband,' Guthrie said while discussing Ojeh's death on the May 23 episode of Today With Jenna & Friends. 'And it has been a marvel to witness.' While chatting with Guthrie on Jenna & Friends, Bush Hager noted that Jones embodied her '[in] sickness and [in] health' wedding vows before and after Ojeh's health battle. 'And she's — as we've talked to her over the last couple months — been this pillar [not only] for her husband but for her family, for those kids,' she praised. 'And one of the things that I always was sort of amazed by was that she did it with such grace and with humor.' 'We tend to say, 'Oh, I know what you're going through. I know what you're feeling.' Nobody knows unless you've actually been in that,' Roker exclusively told Us at Kotb's Joy 101 launch event on May 28. 'So, we're there. We just want to be there and pay tribute to the wonderful person that Uche was and still will be because he's going to live on in those kids and live in all our memories.' As the Today hosts paid tribute to Ojeh on May 23, Dreyer noted that Sheinelle was 'always smiling' during her family's difficult time. 'She's just a bright light whenever she walks into a room, even through this. She relied on her faith, she relied on her friends,' the third hour of Today cohost added. While exclusively chatting with Us at Kotb's Joy 101 launch, Dreyer praised Jones for being a 'close friend.' She added, 'I've reached out. I don't want to push too hard. There's just a lot of things that she must be juggling right now. I mean, I don't know the right words besides, 'I'm here. Whenever you need a hug, let me know. I'll be there in a second.' And, I mean, I pray for her every night.' 'What has been remarkable, also, is watching the way with which she has dealt with this, dealing with a husband who's battling cancer and three young children that she's had [take care of] by herself for a while now,' Melvin said on the May 23 episode of Today. 'And every time you would talk to her, she would still find a way to laugh about something.'
