49ers signing pair of veteran pass rushers after successful workouts
The San Francisco 49ers continue to struggle to keep their players on the field, as they placed defensive end Bradlee Anae on injured reserve on Wednesday, which will end his 2025 season before it even begins. With a hole in the edge defender room, the 49ers held workouts on Wednesday for a trio of veterans - Keshawn Banks, William Bradley-King and Demone Harris. According to KPRC2's Aaron Wilson, San Francisco is signing Bradley-King and Harris. Bradley-King, 27, played collegiately at Arkansas State from 2016-19, earning All-Sun Belt honors twice before transferring to Baylor for his final season. The Washington Commanders (then Football Team) took him in the seventh round (No. 240 overall) of the 2021 NFL draft. He spent parts of three seasons in Washington, two with the New England Patriots and one with the Miami Dolphins, recording seven tackles and a half-sack in four career games (all with Washington). Harris, 29, spent his college career at Buffalo from 2013-17, earning All-Mac honors once. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2018 and has since spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs (winning a Super Bowl), Houston Texans and Atlanta Falcons. In 23 career games, he's recorded 22 tackles (three for a loss), four quarterback hits and two passes defensed. With wide receiver Malik Turner taking Anae's spot on the roster, the 49ers will have to make two more moves before they can officially bring in Bradley-King and Harris.
