Here Are the Best Car Care Deals on Amazon Prime Days

The Drive09-07-2025
The latest car news, reviews, and features.
Over the last couple of days, I've spent a few hours scouring Amazon Prime Days deal listings for the best scores on car care, cleaning, and detailing products. I'm not just talking about cheap things—we're only bothering with brands that I use personally or have had specifically recommended to me by someone that I trust. There are thousands of car cleaner items on sale, but the ones on this list are going to be the most worthwhile.
First up is my favorite tree sap remover—the goofily named 'Tarminator' from Stoner. I have tried many different sap removers and techniques, but this one in particular has been the quickest and most effective for me by far. I grabbed a can off the shelf randomly at an auto parts store once, and now I'll always have at least one ready to go in my garage at all times. A little dab on a rag, and this thing picks up sap off my BMWs like nothing. Word to the wise, though—heed the directions carefully and don't let this stuff sit on your paint any longer than it has to. It's safe to use correctly, but it's aggressive.
Stoner also sells an all-purpose water-based cleaner that's on sale for Prime Days. I have not used this one yet, but I really like having a multi-surface-safe squirt bottle around for touch-ups and detailing. At 15% off, I say this is worth trying.
For those of you who like to clean your tires, this Cerakote tire protectant is 19% off. This brand does a great job cleaning anything black—I've used its trim restoration wipes and been shocked at how well they restore old plastic.
Speaking of black plastic trim treatments, Cerakote's is not on sale, but this one from Adam's Polishes is. A few friends in a car club I'm in are big fans of this brand. You can sometimes find it on the shelf at AutoZone, but a three-pack is 20% off on Amazon right now.
Adam's Polishes also has a great deal on a ceramic coating kit (39% off) and a huge supply of wheel cleaner (40% off).
If you're looking to get even more serious about your car detailing loadout, Adam's is also doing 25% off on its Air Cannon drying blower. That unit's normally over $300, so the Prime Days deal saves you quite a few bucks. Air drying is a great way to clean up crevices, and it can be safer than a towel. If that's still too expensive or you just don't have room for it, a much more compact version is also on sale (35% off).
For cleaning cars the old-fashioned way, with a simple pair of buckets and water, I recommend a jug of Meguiar's wash and wax soap, which is only $11 (32% off) right now. After drying, you can hit your car with some of Meguiar's ceramic coating spray, which is also on sale (19% off).
And if you're looking for a one-stop shop kit that's a little more comprehensive, this 16-piece cleaning arsenal set from Chemical Guys is down to just $127 (20% off)
Most of the interior plastic cleaners Amazon's running deals on are kind of mid, but two leather cleaners I like a lot are on sale. Lexol's Two-Step Leather Regimen is nicely discounted at 23% off, and includes everything you need (including applicator) to give leather a nice cleaning and conservation treatment. To care for leather that's already clean, Leather Honey Conditioner is a great option, and that's deeply discounted right now by 39%.
Finally, I found some deals on generic cleaning gadgets that are worth looking at while you're stocking up on detailing supplies. I don't know these brands, but when it comes to cloths and brushes, I personally don't think it matters all that much. So save your money where you can.
Interior Detail Brushes—3-Pack for $11.99 (33% off)
Glass Cleaning Cloths—2-Pack for $7.99 (33% off)
Windshield Cleaning Tool for $7.99 (20% off)
Microfiber Cloths—12-Pack for $9.49 (21% off)

Greenlane expands EV charging corridor to Phoenix

Greenlane announced it is establishing a second commercial electric vehicle (EV) charging corridor, this one connecting Southern California to Phoenix via Interstate 10. This comes as the company recently launched its flagship charging center in Colton, Calif., situated next to San Bernardino, in the heart of California's Inland Empire. The Colton location will serve as the anchor for this new corridor and is centrally located to support its first EV corridor, connecting Southern California to Las Vegas via the I-15 corridor. 'As the 15 goes up to Vegas and the 10 goes over to Phoenix, it's centrally located to support and service both corridors. Eventually, we're going to open up in Blythe and in Phoenix, and that will allow us to have key positions on the corridor. This enables trucks to go from location to location, ensuring they get a full charge without range anxiety,' said Patrick Macdonald-King, CEO of Greenlane, in an interview with FreightWaves. In addition to the corridor expansion, Greenlane also announced a new strategic partnership with EV truck maker and OEM Windrose Technology. Windrose recently validated the viability of long-haul electric trucking when it successfully completed single-charge journeys from Colton to Phoenix. On how the Windrose trucks are able to make the single-charge trip, one factor is in their charging setup. 'They can take an intake of about 800 kilowatt-hours per hour at our sites by putting two CCS chargers on either side of the truck. With their range, they've been able to do a single charge and go from Colton all the way to Phoenix, which has been very impressive. … They've been running the tests with fully loaded cargo. I believe it was about 75,000 pounds of what they were hauling across the corridor … real-world examples of technology and innovation at work,' added Macdonald-King. 'Achieving nearly 300 miles with a GCWR of 74,420 pounds on a single charge with 12% battery left proves that electric long-haul trucking isn't just theory—it's proven real-world performance,' added Wen Han, founder and CEO of Windrose Technology, in the press release. To handle the growth and expansion, the company is implementing forward-thinking infrastructure that can be upgraded to accommodate megawatt charging as the technology becomes available. At its Colton facility, Greenlane deployed 'Trenwa' tunneling throughout the site, allowing for cable upgrades without trenching. This will become important later as more companies switch from CCS to megawatt charging stations. That transition to full megawatt charging will not happen overnight, but it helps to be prepared. 'It depends on how much future planning you're doing on each site,' Macdonald-King said. 'A lot of the sites we're moving forward on into 2026-2027, we're going straight to megawatt charging because the trucks are coming out the following year.' The new corridor will also support Nevoya, an electric trucking company that plans to operate battery-electric trucks along both the I-10 and I-15 corridors. Greenlane anticipates opening the first location on this corridor by 2026, with two locations expected to be operational by the end of that year. 'Overall, we're excited about it. We're working with partners like Navistar and others, and they're very interested in the corridor. We've had a number of customers give us commitments to that corridor, which is why we've been focused on it. We're planning on getting that going, opening the first location probably in 2026, and hopefully two locations by the end of the year to service it,' Macdonald-King said. Greenlane is a joint venture between Daimler Truck, NextEra Energy and BlackRock. The post Greenlane expands EV charging corridor to Phoenix appeared first on FreightWaves. Loose cabinet pulls, battery compartments that refuse to budge, and wobbly chair legs have a way of hanging around because the right tool is never where you need it. The HOTO Electric Screwdriver Tool Set turns that pile of tiny fixes into quick wins. It comes in a tidy case that slips into a kitchen drawer, and the driver feels balanced in the hand, light enough for delicate gadgets yet sturdy enough for around-the-house jobs. Click in a bit, press the trigger, and the screw that used to fight you finally gives. Head over to Best Buy to get the HOTO Electric Screwdriver Tool Set for just $55, down from its usual price of $110. That's a discount of $55 and 50% off. See at Best Buy What makes this kit easy to live with is how naturally it gets out of your way. The compact driver has forward and reverse at your fingertip, so you do not juggle switches while balancing a hinge. A gentle motor handles everyday tasks without stripping tiny hardware, which is the worry with bulky drills. Glasses, toys, battery doors, cabinet knobs, light plates, and flat-pack furniture all fall into its sweet spot. It is the sort of tool that gets called up two or three times a week once you know it is in the drawer. The bit selection covers the usual suspects. You get a spread of Phillips and flat heads for housework, a few smaller sizes for electronics, and the oddball shapes that show up on toys and battery covers. Everything nests in a molded tray, so the right tip is easy to spot instead of rattling around in a tin. The magnetic chuck grabs each bit with a clean click and holds screws steady on the way in, which saves the finger acrobatics you learn trying to guide tiny hardware. Charging is simple. Plug in with the included cable, top up the battery, and you are set for a long stretch of quick repairs. The built-in light throws a small halo on your work so you can see the threads clearly inside a cabinet or under a desk. When the job needs more feel than power, the driver doubles as a comfortable manual handle so you can finish with a few careful turns. It is a handy gift, too. New homeowners, apartment dwellers, and anyone who assembles their own furniture will get real use out of it, and the minimalist case looks neat on a shelf. You will know it earned its spot the first time a loose knob is fixed in under a minute. The HOTO Electric Screwdriver Tool Set is still available for $55 at Best Buy, a clean drop from the usual $110 price. See at Best Buy
