A pair of Coronation Street siblings look unrecognisable a whopping 17 years on from leaving the ITV soap.
Long-standing character Bethany Platt first appeared on the cobbles back in 2000 and is the daughter of Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien).
She was originally played by twin sisters, Emily and Amy Walton, who shared the role for seven years from 2000 to 2007.
The twins were involved in several major plot twists including when Bethany was kidnapped by her paternal grandmother Brenda Fearns (Julia Deakin) in 2004.
While in other dramatic scenes, Bethany took an Ecstasy pill that her uncle had stashed inside of her doll and ended up hospitalised.
Bethany left, alongside her mother, in 2007 when the pair moved to Italy and the twins no longer had a role on the soap.

Since starring on the popular soap, the twins have moved away from acting and pursued other ventures.
The Lancashire born pair were born in March 2000 and competed in the British Trampoline finals in 2016 according to OK! magazine.
Amy also reportedly secured a place in Great Britain's team the European Championships the following year.
Emily posted a photo with her sister on Instagram back in January and the pair look very different from their days on the soap.
Both are grinning at the camera and appeared to be holidaying in Thailand.
The post was captioned with, 'The last of Thailand,' alongside a yellow heart emoji.
Bethany returned to Coronation Street in 2015, but played by Lucy Fallon who has maintained the role ever since.
Bethany left again in 2020 and moved to London to write for a magazine but returned in 2023 to reignite a relationship with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).
Earlier this year, Bethany waved goodbye to the cobbles again when she headed to London for a new job, with Sarah Platt and Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) waving her off.
The trainee magazine editor shared how guilty she felt for fleeing to the capital after her family's house was burnt down in terrifying scenes.
Sarah told her: 'You're giving us good news.'
Bethany replied: 'Last time I went to London... I crashed and burned.'
She added: 'I'm going to miss you guys.'
Sarah told her: 'I'm so proud of you, everything you've been through.'
It had been a pretty tough year for Bethany.
The aspiring writer travelled to Turkey to get a cosmetic procedure done, but unfortunately things went wrong and she was left with a stoma bag.
Not only that, Bethany and boyfriend Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) have hit a bit of a rough patch in their relationship.
Despite getting engaged over the Christmas period, Bethany decides that heading to London is what is best for her.
As viewers will you know, actress Lucy was pregnant with her second child when those scenes were filmed.
She revealed that she was expecting in August last year.
The soap star welcomed her daughter into the world on the January 11 2025.
Sharing a sweet snap of her newborn, she wrote: 'our teeny angel girl is here 11/1/25 x.'
The actress is also a proud mum to a two-year-old boy.
Lucy gave birth to her son Sonny Jude on January 30 2023.
The couple have been together since 2020.
Corrie fans will be happy to know that Lucy will be back on the Cobbles in the future.
Speaking on a Instagram Q&A, Lucy said: 'Lots of Corrie related q's - I won't be away for toooo long and I am returning after I pop the baby out.'

Brooke Vincent looks incredible in a plunging bikini as she celebrates her birthday with a holiday to Santorini

Brooke Vincent looked incredible as she celebrated her 33rd birthday with a holiday to Santorini, Greece. The actress, who played Sophie Webster in Coronation Street, wore a plunging bikini top for the Instagram update. Sharing a series of selfies from the beach, she posed beneath a straw umbrella with the wind in her hair. Brooke went makeup free for the snaps, accessorised her bikini with layers of necklaces and styled her hair into waves. 'Another year around the sun on the look out for some garage music,' she wrote. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Brooke played Sophie Webster in Coronation Street from 2004 to 2019 and made up one half of the soap's first ever lesbian couple with Sian Powers (Sacha Parkinson). The pair, who started off as pals, were due to tie the knot - but Sophie ran away at the altar when the guilt of kissing Amber Kalirai got too much for her. Last year Brooke starred in ITV's celebrity reality programme Drama Queens before the show was axed after just four months. Her concerns about spending too much time away from her children played a hand in the decision to end the series so soon. During one scene Brooke broke down in tears over her 'mum guilt' after her mum informs her that one of her two boys has come down with a sickness. Brooke, who shares sons Mexx, five, and Monroe, three, with fiancé Kean Bryan, 28, tells viewers: 'The only reason I am trying not to cry is because my eyes will go all red. And then I'll have to meet new people with red eyes…' Later she begins to cry, saying: 'At that point, I was like instantly overwhelmed. 'It makes me upset because I think… I get such mum guilt.' 'It is really rubbish. Ultimately there is nothing really that I could have done to predict he was going to be poorly.' She added: 'It'll will be fine. He has literally just been sick. I think it's just.. I constantly think, is it right that I go back to work.' Later laughing it off, she said: God, I am an absolute mess. My life's a mess!' Drama Queens aimes to provide viewers with 'an exclusive journey into the lives of Britain's soap royalty'. It will featured personalities from Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Emmerdale 'taking viewers beyond the scripted drama of the screen' and into their real lives.

Italy's Chiesi Group plans acquisitions to boost sales to 6 billion euros by 2030

PARMA, Italy June 5 (Reuters) - Italy's Chiesi Group is aiming to significantly increase the number of patients it treats from around 10 million and its sales to 6 billion euros ($6.9 billion) by 2030, helped by acquisitions, its CEO Giuseppe Accogli said in an interview. The family-owned group, which provides treatment for rare diseases and respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD, is scouting the market to see if there are opportunities to buy a new company to help achieve its ambition of doubling sales, but says there is no rush. "We are looking in respiratory, in specialty pharma and in rare diseases, not only in Italy, but also globally. I think every year is a good year if we find a good asset that will fit strategically with our portfolio," Accogli said. The last major acquisition by Chiesi dates back to 2023 when it bought rare diseases specialist Amryt for some $1.5 billion, shortly before Accogli took the CEO role. He declined to comment on whether the group has approached listed Italian rival Recordati ( opens new tab in the recent past. "I don't think we can share that, but we always look at everything that is available," he said in an interview at the group's headquarters in Parma, northern Italy. Chiesi has no debt and earns around 1 billion euros each year in EBITDA so the company "has firepower to grow both organically and inorganically and to reach between five and six billion euros of sales with our own resources," Accogli underlined. Regarding the sales goal, around 10-15% should come through inorganic opportunities "that we are scouting". The current year has started well and the CEO is confident of ending it with revenue "growth of more than half single digits" compared to 13% growth reached in 2024 at 3.4 billion euros. On the U.S. tariff front, Accogli said that the situation is still very confused. "Many things have been said. Right now, none of them have gone into action, which doesn't mean that they will not. So we keep monitoring and see. But things change by the day." The CEO is aware that meeting patients' growing therapeutic demand may eventually require establishing a manufacturing presence in the U.S to complement existing sites in France, Italy and Brazil but nothing concrete is planned for the moment.
