ALBAWABA - The Iranian military announced on Monday that it had launched missiles and dozens of drones equipped with anti-fortification warheads toward Israel, media reported on Monday. Israel said that between 10 and 15 missiles were fired.
An Israeli military spokesperson said the army detected missile launches from Iran towards Israel, confirming that defense systems are working to intercept them.
Local Israeli media said that sirens sounded first in northern Israel, including the Galilee area, followed by sirens in central and southern Israel. Furthermore, AFP said that loud blasts were heard in Jerusalem as well.
Magen David Adom (MDA) further mentioned that teams are heading to crash sites, adding that one was reported in an open area in the Lachish area.

Video: Destiny advises IDF soldiers to put the camera away and have fun

ALBAWABA - Controversial streamer Destiny recently sparked backlash on social media after a new video surfaced regarding his recent trip to occupied Palestine, Israel. The clip revealed Destiny advising IDF soldiers to refrain from committing war crimes against Palestinians in reference to clips of them gleefully wearing women's underwear. He said while surrounded by several Israelis, "If you wanna wear a dress and think it's funny, just don't take a video of it." Destiny further added, "People don't like seeing your war crimes, don't film yourselves in women's outfits, just put your f***ing camera away and have fun," as laughter from his listeners erupted in the background. — trippy rev (@red_leftist) June 23, 2025 The recently surfaced video sparked widespread outrage on social media, with users taking to platforms such as X (formerly known as Twitter) to voice their opinions about the controversial streamer's degratory comments about the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023. One X user wrote, "I'm sure the irony isn't lost on a single person that DESTINY of all people is telling the IDF soldiers to not record everything because it can be used against them." Another added, "Criminals advising criminals." The controversial streamer has showcased his pro-Israel stance on multiple occasions across social media, sparking widespread hate towards him and his fans. In 2024, drama erupted between him and fellow pro-Palestine political streamer Hasan Abi after a debate about US politics and Kamala Harris. While the exact date of the video remains unclear, Destiny visited Israel in May 2025, including areas like the West Bank, where he engaged in a debate with local residents. Additionally, he documented the debate and posted it on YouTube.

JD Vance calls previous presidents 'dumb' except Trump

Published June 23rd, 2025 - 06:19 GMT ALBAWABA - In a recent interview with NBC News, US Vice President JD Vance sparked controversy on social media after stating that the previous presidents who have taken office over the past 25 years were "dumb," with the exception of Donald Trump. The US VP touched on subjects including Americans' concerns over going to war with Iran due to the country's ongoing tensions with Israel. The US recently bombed three Iranian nuclear sites to prevent Iran's advancement of nuclear weapons manufacturing and possession. Vance said, "I empathize with Americans who are exhausted after 25 years of wars in the Middle East. I understand the concern. But the difference is that back then we had dumb presidents, but now we have a president who knows how to actually accomplish America's national security objectives." But the difference is that back then we had dumb presidents.' - JD VanceLol good luck selling that. — Spencer Hakimian (@SpencerHakimian) June 22, 2025 He added, "So this is not going to be a long, drawn-out thing... We've got in, we've done the job of setting their [Iran] nuclear program back, and now we're going to work on permanently dismantling that nuclear program over the coming years." The statement reportedly took a jab at several US presidents who held office over the past 25 years, including Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden. 25 years of war in the Middle East US soldiers gather at the scene an attack on a military vechile in the al-Mustansiriya neighborhood of Baghdad 01 July 2003. The US was involved in several conflicts in the Middle East, including the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the Afghanistan war (sharing a border with the Middle East), tensions with Syria and Yemen, and its financial support of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023. © 2000 - 2025 Al Bawaba (
