Production on the popular Hulu drama's Season 2 is underway, series creator Dan Fogelman announced Friday via Instagram. 'We're baaaaaaaack,' he wrote in the caption underneath a photo of a clapboard from an episode directed by executive producers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. (The pair also directed four Season 1 installments, including the premiere and finale.)

Paradise stars This Is Us alum Sterling K. Brown as Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, the man tasked to keep President Cal Bradford (played by James Marsden, Westworld) safe. When the president is killed in the series' premiere, it unleashes a mystery that puts everyone in Collins' small community on edge. The final moments of the series premiere revealed that Collins and the president are living in a town created in a cave under the Earth's surface because a catastrophic event destroyed all life topside, adding a unique twist to the presidential murder-mystery plot.
Paradise was renewed in February, a few weeks before the mystery thriller aired its answers-laden Season 1 finale in March. (Read a full recap here.) Around that time, Brown told TVLine that the story was 'all laid out' and that he'd read the first three episodes of Season 2. 'That s–t slaps real hard,' he said of the scripts. 'It's really, really, good — and I'm saying that as a fan of the show. It's really, really good. I'm excited.'
So are we! Read on for everything we know so far about what to expect from the new season. And make sure to check back often for updates!
Hulu has not yet announced Paradise's Season 2 premiere date, but the show has begun shooting the sophomore run. (See Fogelman's Instagram post above.)
While we have no official intel yet regarding Season 2 storylines, it would make sense that the plot would follow Xavier as he leaves the underground cave and sets out to find his wife, Teri, whom we now know survived the apocalyptic event that sent President Bradford & Co. to the bunker. We also expect to learn more about the large numbers of people that the exploratory mission learned had made it through the climate catastrophe. (More about that here.)
There's no official Season 2 cast list yet, but we're guessing that Sterling K. Brown (Xavier), Julianne Nicholson (Sinatra), Nicole Brydon Bloom (Jane), Krys Marshall (Robinson), Sarah Shahi (Gabriela), Charlie Evans (Jeremy), Aliyah Mastin (Presley) and Percy Daggs IV (James) will be back.
Likely not to return: Jon Beavers, whose Secret Service Agent Billy Pace was killed in Season 1. Also a question mark: James Marsden, who played President Cal Bradford in Season 1. Though Cal died in the series premiere, Marsden appeared in every episode via flashbacks. Now that his murder has been solved, however, we're not sure how involved Marsden will be with the series as it moves forward.
Paradise Season 2 will stream on Hulu.
There is not yet a trailer for the show's second season. But as soon as there is, we'll update this post, and you can watch it here.
Paradise Season 1 is streaming on Hulu.

Bruce Springsteen, wife Patti Scialfa celebrate wedding anniversary

Bruce Springsteen, wife Patti Scialfa celebrate wedding anniversary Show Caption Hide Caption Bruce Springsteen's wife Patti Scialfa reveals cancer diagnosis Longtime E Street Band member and wife of Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, revealed she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2018. The Springsteens are celebrating over three decades of love. Bruce Springsteen and wife Patti Scialfa celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary over the weekend. Scialfa, a member of Springsteen's E Street Band, has been on hiatus from the group since revealing she had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer. "Our one year anniversary … Bruce surprised me with a beautiful party," Scialfa wrote in a June 8 Instagram post alongside a photo of the couple sharing a kiss. Scialfa and Springsteen were married June 8, 1991, in Los Angeles. "Today marks 34 years … even though we already had Evan and Jess was on the way … spent the evening with Bruce (and) Sam and our granddaughter Lily," she continued. Scialfa and Springsteen share three children: Evan, 34; Jessica, 33; and Sam, 31. The family will soon notch another milestone: a multigenerational album. Sam and Evan are credited with contributing background vocals on the track "Where You're Going, Where You're From," part of the "Faithless" album, one piece of a two-part project that releases old Springsteen tracks from the vault. On Instagram, friends, fans and family congratulated the couple on their milestone. "Happy Anniversary!!!!!! We love you both!!!!!" commented Rita Wilson, an actress and wife to Tom Hanks. Longtime Springsteen photographer and concert promoter Danny Clinch laid down three heart emojis. "What a beautiful picture of the two of you! A very Happy Anniversary from us to you! Nicki & Garry," Nicky Germaine, the wife of E Street bassist Gary Tallent, wrote. Springsteen and Scialfa first met when she answered a newspaper ad in the mid-1970s for a female backup singer versed in 1960s girl groups. She had a tryout with the E Street Band, but did not end up joining the group until 1984 on the eve of the Born in the USA tour. When the two began to rehearse alone at her New York City apartment ahead of the subsequent Tunnel of Love tour, the line between bandmates and lovers began to blur. "I used to steal up there and sit on a park bench waiting for my gal to meet me with a six pack of beer," Springsteen said during a July 2020 broadcast of "Bruce Springsteen: From His Home, To Yours" on Sirius XM's E Street Radio channel. "We got engaged on that park bench," Scialfa added. Marianne Faithfull's "Trouble In Mind" was the theme of their budding romance, the couple revealed. "I used to drive you back from New York City after visiting me, and we would play that all the way back," Springsteen said. "That makes me think of your blue Camaro," Scialfa added, "and also you had an old Corvette, which was also blue. We would just play that, never talk. We were just in a daze of love." "Marianne Faithfull was our guardian angel in those days," Springsteen said. Contributing: Anna Kaufman, USA TODAY

Snoop Dogg to be played by 'Outer Banks' star Jonathan Daviss in new biopic

We now know who will play Snoop Dogg in his upcoming music biopic. Jonathan Daviss has been cast in the lead role of Snoop Dogg in the upcoming film about the hip-hop legend for Universal. Daviss and Snoop Dogg confirmed the casting in separate posts shared to Instagram on Monday. "Let's go nefew !! it's time," Snoop Dogg captioned his post, tagging Daviss. "Bow wow wow," Daviss captioned his own post announcing the news. Daviss is best known for his role as Pope Heyward in the Netflix series "Outer Banks." On the red carpet at the BET Awards on Monday, Daviss said he is excited to take on the role of portraying the legendary rapper. "I was like, 'Is this happening? It's happening. All right, let's go. Let's do it,'" he said in an interview with "Extra," recalling his reaction to being cast in the role. Snoop Dogg, whose birth name is Calvin Broadus Jr., said the biopic will be an "evolution story" of how he got to where he is today. "A lot of people just see me for who I am now, and they don't know what I went through and what I had to, you know, do to get to this stage, and the people that taught me, the lessons that I learned, and the reason why I am who I am," he told "Extra." "It's the love child story." The rapper, who was joined on the red carpet by his wife Shante Broadus and their daughter Cori Broadus, one of the couple's four children, added that the biopic will also show his family life. "I think you're going to learn what family is all about, what the roots of family means and what love is," he said. "Like how my mother taught me how to love, and that's how I was able to overcome and, you know, beat a lot of things that I faced in my life. And that's what I teach and preach is love." "Coming 2 America" director Craig Brewer will direct Daviss in the role. Snoop Dogg serves as a producer on the film.

Is Che in ‘And Just Like That' Season 3? Sara Ramirez's Character's Fate After Dramatic Season 2

Miranda Hobbes experienced both love and heartbreak in the Sex and the City spinoff, And Just Like That…, and her relationship with Che Diaz certainly had its highs and lows. Is Sara Ramirez's character in season 3 of the show? It was reported by multiple outlets in February 2024 that Sara's character was not returning for season 3 of And Just Like That… after two seasons on the show. Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda, spoke out on Che's exit from the show one year ahead of the season 3 premiere in May 2025. "I think for Miranda, Miranda and Che were really pretty done," Cynthia told Entertainment Weekly in May 2024. "I think that Miranda and Che had kind of run the gamut of what they were going to be to each other." Cynthia echoed a similar stance while speaking with Variety that same month. 'I do feel like our show always works best when people are dating,' she said. 'They created such an amazing character — such a controversial character, but such an amazing character,' she said, referring to the character of Che. 'I think they felt, and Michael Patrick [King] felt, that that character had run its course. They came in and shook everything up, and then the arc was completed.' The Emmy winner said that she understood that a lot of people were upset with the arc of Steve's character, Miranda's husband, whom she left and got back together with in the first Sex and the City film. In And Just Like That… their relationship came crumbling apart when Miranda met Che and began an affair. While speaking with Grazia in May 2025, Cynthia said that the ''poor Steve' narrative doesn't really bother me. Our show always killed its darlings. If we're just gonna play it safe and nice, why are you watching?' Cynthia revealed that she suggested Sara, who uses they/them pronouns, for the role of Che. 'I love Che, I love Sara. It's hard to know what people would have made of Che if Che hadn't ostensibly broken up Steve and Miranda,' she noted. 'But I don't want a show in which everybody is behaving well all the time. A feminist show doesn't show women being perfect.' Miranda and Che ended up breaking up after their toxic romance hit its breaking point in season 2 of And Just Like That… Their romance was plagued by bickering and tension as Che's TV pilot ended up failing. 'I think for Che, there's an incremental ego death process that is occurring over time, with the failure of the pilot, with all of the projections that they internalized during that process, with all the questioning they've been doing,' Sara told TVLine in July 2023. 'I don't think they have the capacity to keep the wheels on the car any longer. They don't have the capacity to continue this fantasy of a bubble of love and friendship and affirmation.' Cynthia revealed that in season 3, Miranda would be embracing her single era. 'Both the old show and the new show are more fun when people are dating, so Miranda will be dating,' she said.
