Kanye West's Cousins lyrics and relative who was 'jailed for murder'

Daily Mirror22-04-2025

Controversial rapper Kanye West has dropped a new track titled Cousins as he claims it is about an incestuous relationship with a male cousin who is now jailed for murder
Kanye West has sparked a storm of controversy once again and this time for his latest track, Cousins, which features some incredibly shocking lyrics. The rapper, who has pulled a series of headline-grabbing stunts in recent months, has now caused jaws to drop with revelations about his troubled childhood.
While promoting his new track Cousins, Kanye made a claim about having incestuous relationship with a male cousin when he was a child. In a post on X, he said the pair would "act out" what they saw in pornographic magazines.

He also shared a snippet of the song, which featured blurred visuals and semi-pornographic images stitched together. Kanye, who is also known as Ye, claims the cousin is now serving a life sentence for murder.
The song has sparked an intense response online after it was released on Monday. Cousins is an explicit track which claims to detail a harrowing experience from Kayne's past.
Introducing the song on X, he wrote: "This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that's locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn't 'look at dirty magazines together' anymore.
"Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.
"My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different"

The song kicks off: "I saw you outside again, just hanging out with your friends. Hanging with my cousin, reading dirty magazines."
He continues: "Then we start re-enacting everything that we had seen. That's when I gave my cousin head, gave my cousin head. Gave my cousin head, I gave my cousin head. I gave my cousin head."
It continued: "Told my cousin not to tell nobody (Please, no, don't tell nobody). People tell me take it to my grave. 'Truth will set you free someday'. I don't think they understand That I'm not attracted to a man (They thought I was gay)."

Kanye has never disclosed the identity of the relative but previously spoke of an incarcerated cousin during an interview in 2018. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, he said: "My cousin is locked up for murder and I love him. So he did a bad thing, but I still love him."
Five years ago, his ex wife Kim Kardashian mentioned an incarcerated cousin in Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project. The only thing known about the cousin was the fact he was convicted of murder at the age of 17.
Speaking to Marc Howard, president of the Frederick Douglass Project for Justice and director of Georgetown University's Prisons and Justice Initiative, Kim explained: "[Kanye's] cousin has a double life sentence for a murder that he committed when he was 17."

Julia Fox doesn't look like this anymore as she ditches the controversial beauty trend she started

Julia Fox changed up her look dramatically after ditching the controversial beauty trend she once helmed. The Uncut Gems actress, 35, appeared transformed as she modeled an all-white outfit and displayed a noticeable detail on her face at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Saturday. She went from posing for portraits at the film festival before changing into another completely white ensemble to join Paris Hilton at the premiere of The Trainer at the SVA Theater. Between her outfit change, however, she kept her dark brunette bob styled the same, slicked back and parted down the middle, paired with: her natural eyebrows. She looked noticeably different after rocking her bleached brow look for many years. The model, who is known for her eccentric and bold outfits, rose to fame after briefly dating Kanye West and, just last month, appeared in Kourtney Kardashian 's 'libido booster' ad. Over the weekend, she showed up in an angelic outfit as she paired a plain T-shirt dress with a sheer scarf around her head and tied around her waist. She paired the classic look with cleets-inspired high heels as she posed for portraits in the studio. Later, the brunette beauty added more eyeliner and lip gloss for her day-to-night look as she joined the stars at the premiere of The Trainer. She wore a similar look as before but reemerged in a very low-cut and nearly sheer dress with spaghetti straps and a high-low, waterfall skirt. She wore sheer, pointed-toe pumps and tied a scarf around her head to complete her look. To go with her understated outfit, she wore heavy makeup with blue glitter around her eyes and bold eyeliner. She opted out of any jewelry and showed off her face card with a generous application of sparkly blush and an overlined, matte pink pout. Fox started the controversial beauty trend of bleaching her eyebrows many years ago, and since then, she has even inspired the likes of Kylie Jenner to partake in the trend. She first debuted her bleached brows, which were done by makeup legend Pat McGrath, in 2022. Since then, she had also bleached her hair into a icy, platinum blonde color at one point and occasionally filled in her brows with a dark brown pencil. However, she is rarely, if ever, seen with her natural eyebrows since she hit the scene several years ago. Fox stars opposite Paris Hilton as well as many others in the all-star cast of the comedy-crime film, The Trainer. The dark comedy was initially released in October 2024 and was directed and produced by Tony Kaye. In addition to Fox and Hilton, the star-studded cast includes Bella Thorne, Lauren Sanchez, Lenny Kravitz, Vito Schnabel, Gayle King and Gina Gershon among many more. The project follows personal trainer Jack Flex (Schnabel) as he 'attempts to convince famed Los Angeles figures — both real and fictional — to invest in his absurd fitness invention — a weighted helment he dubs "the Heavy Hat",' per Entertainment Weekly. Per the synopsis, Jack is 'ruthlessly determined to share his vision with the world, even if he lacks a coherent plan to ensure its execution. 'And he spends most of the movie bouncing between chance encounters and ambush meetings with potential investors.' Camila Morrone was also seen in attendance at the Tribeca Festival on Saturday, and put on a stylish display wearing a tan dress that fell down towards her ankles. The ensemble had stitched details for a unique flare to the look and she slipped into a pair of black boots to complete the look. The beauty - who previously dated Leonardo DiCaprio - allowed her brunette locks to flow down past her shoulders in light waves. Ariana DeBose struck a few poses during the festivities at the portrait studio and sported a pair of denim pants that were cuffed at the bottom. She kept it casual while also sporting a gray shirt as well as a blue button up that was left unfastened at the front. The West Side Story star was also spotted crossing paths with Rose Byrne and Stephanie Laing. Byrne was chic wearing a tan-colored vest that was buttoned at the front as well as a pair of matching trousers. The Bridesmaids actress additionally wore a pair of open-toed shoes and parted her hair to the side. The ends curled into stylish waves that brushed the tips of her shoulders. Patricia Arquette was another celebrity at the festival over the weekend and wore a striped blouse as well as a long, pastel yellow blazer. The Severance star also donned a pair of open-toed, brown shoes while her locks fell down straight to nearly brush her shoulders. Arquette paused to take memorable photos alongside Camila Morrone during their time at the portrait studio. Patricia Arquette was another celebrity at the festival over the weekend and wore a striped blouse as well as a long, pastel yellow blazer Dylan O'Brien was stylishly casual wearing a light blue button up as well as a white shirt underneath. The Teen Wolf alum completed his ensemble by wearing a pair of colorful striped shorts and white sneakers. The actor was also seen with his co-star James Sweeney - who also directed their latest movie Twinless. The star sported a pair of gray pants as well as a shirt that matched the same pattern and colors as Dylan's shorts.

Kanye West's wife Bianca Censori strikes out on her own with mysterious new venture

Bianca Censori is reportedly stepping out from her famous husband's shadow for a mysterious solo-branded venture. The 30-year-old wife of Kanye West has launched her own company in the US, Bianca Censori Inc., according to the US Sun. She reportedly registered her eponymous company in California in May. Censori has also reportedly registered a firm in Australia — simply named Bianca Censori — which operates out of the Melbourne suburb of Alphington, where her parents happen to reside. has reached out to a representative for Censori and West for comment. The new companies appear to be the first signs of Censori — who left fans calling for her arrest after posting seemingly nude photos on Instagram — taking the lead on a project since beginning a relationship with the 47-year-old disgraced rapper. The Australian beauty previously worked as an architect for his Yeezy brand beginning in 2020, and they married two years later. Despite launching the companies under her own name, with one in her home country, Bianca isn't completely leaving her husband behind. Although she is listed as the CEO and secretary for Bianca Censori Inc., Kanye is reportedly listed on the registration as a director of the company. He's also connected via his attorney, Manoj Shah, who is providing legal services for Bianca's company. So far, there are few details about exactly what Bianca plans to do with the companies. However, the identify of a top executive may hold a clue to what exactly the provocateur plans to make with her new company. The paperwork reportedly indicates that Hussein Lalani is working as the chief financial officer, and Lalani is known for promoting cosmetics. He is the founder of the skincare company Zensa, which offers microblading products, home tattoo kits and accompanying numbing creams. Lalani reportedly advertised that West planned to release the cryptocurrency 'meme coin' $YZY, which was initially described as a way to pay on the rapper's Yeezy website. Lalani allegedly came into West and Censori's orbit after he met the couple at the West Hollywood condo they lived in last year. He's also reportedly listed on the corporate statement of information at the same address as the condo building. Censori and West have recently stirred up more controversy over the shockingly skimpy outfits. The two have been spending time around Barcelona, Spain, where they reportedly reunited after initially appearing to split in the wake of West deranged, antisemitic and pro-Nazi posts on the Elon Musk–owned social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Fans were shocked to see Bianca post a photo of herself with her breasts seemingly exposed under a fishnet top, while her nether regions were apparently uncovered under her sheer black pantyhose. Some social media users even suggested she should have been arrested over public decency laws, though there are some parts of Spain where it is at least legal to go topless. Despite the uproar, Censori appeared to double down when she posted a second photo of the same outfit that was even clearer than the original, somewhat blurry post.
