She has been represented by London-based agencies including W Management.
On top of her modelling career, Mimi is an artist — she creates acrylic on canvas paintings incorporating cultural themes.
Maro proposed to his now-wife during a holiday to Nigeria and Ghana in August 2024.
Mimi shared the happy news on Instagram alongside snaps of her dazzling ring, which she captioned and the caption: "Mrs I to be."
Maro subsequently described the moment to the Daily Mail, saying: "We went to this beautiful aqua-safari in Ada, which is on the coast, about two hours from Accra.
"It was a beautiful resort, and I popped the question there."

The couple married less than a month before the Lions tour kicks off on May 25, 2025.
Maro celebrated the occasion by writing on social media: "Scripture says It is not good for man to be alone… I am no longer alone.
"I HAVE A WIFE. To God be the Glory!!!!"
Talented rugby family
Talent runs in Maro's family — his cousin Beno Obano, who plays for Bath rugby, was born just three days apart from him.
The cousins often show public support for each other, with Beno appearing on Maro's podcast titled Pearl Conversations.
On the show, Maro interviews leaders and groundbreakers from various fields including music, sports, politics and art.

Maro reflected on their upbringing on Pearl Conversations, saying: "For you and I, rugby has never really been [there] when we were growing up — as you said, from when we were born to when we went to secondary school.
"Before then, rugby was never really a thing for us. Coming from a Nigerian household where, if it's any sport at all, it's football. If it's not football, then it's books.""If it's not football, then it's books."
Maro's Rugby career
Born in Camden, London, Maro didn't pick up rugby until he was 11, discovering the sport at secondary school.
Before committing to rugby, he also competed at shot put and basketball.
He joined Saracens at the tender age of 17 in 2012.
In 2016, Maro went on to earn his first senior England cap against Italy when he was just 21.
Maro had already been part of a Lions tour, being the youngest member of the 2017 New Zealand squad at just 22.
The Saracens lock was named England captain in January 2025 ahead of the Six Nations.

Rangers hero Ally McCoist tells Ireland ‘I'll be back' as he hails ‘fantastic' country after gruelling charity cycle

He and other sport stars and celebrities set off on the gruelling circuit from Belfast last Sunday in memory of late Scottish rugby legend Doddie Weir. The cycle was not without its hiccups along the way. But there were joyous scenes in Dublin as the team, which also included Kenny and Gabby Logan, completed the journey and they celebrated with bottles of pink prosecco and Guinness. The journey continued as the cyclists delivered the match ball, which travelled the 555-miles with them, at the British and Irish Lions' 1888 Cup clash with Argentina at the Aviva Stadium. McCoist told PA: 'I'm a west coast of Scotland man, and it's so similar, absolutely beautiful, green - in some places it's almost lunar with the rocks - it was fantastic. "The weather we've had last couple of days, beautiful greenery over the Guinness Lake. 'So we're gonna come back, no bikes involved, I'm gonna take the car and we're gonna do a little bit of tour. No bike next time, I can assure you.' On MND, he said: 'It's arguably the cruellest and most horrible of diseases when you see what it does to you, it eats away at you. 'Big Doddie, what a figure, not just in the rugby world throughout the UK and Ireland, all over. "He's just a lovable, big character, and it shows no mercy, the disease. Ally McCoist confesses to 'horrendous' epic fail ahead of final day of Rangers legend's charity bike ride 'You see what it's done to a lot of people, you know, top sports stars, and it doesn't matter who you are, any walk of life, it doesn't pick and choose. "It's a horrible, horrible disease. I think we're all duty bound to attempt to do something about it. "If we can help, no matter how small you might think it may be, you've got to do it, because we have to find a cure for it.' Scottish rugby star Kenny Logan and broadcaster Gabby Logan were among those who took part in Doddie'5 Lions Challenge, cycling around 100 miles a day for six days. The husband and wife said thinking of how the 'cruel' disease takes away a person's control of their body inspired them to keep going along the most gruelling parts of the cycle. Kenny Logan thanked the people of Ireland for cheering them on along the way by beeping horns and donating any amount they could. He said: 'We went to one coffee shop, told her what we were doing. She said 'My uncle died of MD'. She gave us 50 coffees and all the food for free. So it's been amazing.' Gabby Logan said the final day was 'really physically challenging', as they climbed 1,250 metres in a few hours, but also provided a profound moment for the cyclists through stunning scenery in Co Wicklow. 'There was quite a lot of solitude today, because we weren't going through villages and towns, we were going through beautiful scenery. "(It gave) a lot of time for people to think about why they're doing this today, and you can see the outpouring of emotion at the end. 'It's about finding cure and a solution to a terrible, terrible disease which just rips away people and their lives and at the moment, there's no hope.' Asked what Weir would have thought of on Friday, Kenny said: 'He'd think we're idiots, genuinely.' He said it was 'amazing' to have Weir's wife Kathy on the cycle on the final day, and to have Doddie's son Hamish following the cycle for the week, who was originally meant to take part but had broken his shoulder. The challenge has raised more than £557,000 for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, which Weir set up in 2017, a year after being diagnosed with MND. Duchess of Sussex announces launch of own wine

New products from the Duchess of Sussex's lifestyle brand have sold out in just a few hours, as she also announced she is also launching her own wine. The rose, described as having 'soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish', on her As Ever website, will be available to buy next month. The new range of food items that went on sale on Friday included a 'limited edition orange blossom honey' at a cost of 28 dollars (£20). Also available were an apricot spread in 'keepsake packaging', and a crepe mix, both £10 each, flower sprinkles for £11 and a range of different herbal teas at £9 for a box of 12 sachets. The new range went on sale at 4pm UK time, and had all sold out by just before 8pm. Meanwhile, a message on the homepage of the As Ever site read: 'Our debut Napa Valley rose is launching just in time for summer entertaining. 'With soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish, this bespoke blend is launching just in time for summer entertaining, and will be available for purchase on July 1st.' In an Instagram post at the same time as the new products went live, the California-based duchess wrote: 'Yummies, and honeys, and fruit spreads, oh my!' Meghan had promised some 'delicious surprises' as she teased, earlier this week, that she would be offering some new products on the site. She previously said the original April launch had been 'absolutely extraordinary'. But she also spoke of her fear that she annoyed customers when the first batch of her jam and herbal teas sold out in less than an hour. She said wanted to wait until it is 'completely stable and we have everything we need'. In the run-up to her re-stock, Meghan shared a photo of jam-making preparations including bowls of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, and freshly squeezed lemons, on her Instagram stories, writing: ''June gloom?' Not over here! Because this month your favourite products are back.' Her official As Ever account also posted: 'To all who've been wondering and waiting, thank you!
