Lidl is creating a version of Dua Lipa's viral pickle cola drink with its own Freeway for fans at her Wembley Stadium shows on 20 and 21 June, giving the trending concoction away for free. The singer previously showed off her cola, pouring pickle and jalapeño juice into diet soda in a video that amassed over 13 million views on TikTok.
Fans can now try it at Lidl's pickle truck popping up at King's Cross Square on 20 and 21 June 4pm-8pm, enroute to the singer's Wembley Stadium shows. The drink combines Lidl's Freeway Diet Cola with a pickle syrup, using Lidl's Freshona Pickled Gherkins and Freshona Sliced Jalapenos - poured over ice.
Fans will also get access to an exclusive Lidl Plus offer giving them 20% off Freeway Diet Cola in store. Visitors will need to scan a QR code at the truck on Friday or Saturday to unlock the deal.
Lidl is even offering to provide its pickle cola truck for the singer's upcoming wedding - supplying friends and family. Last year saw the supermarket launch its big red Freeway Truck which drove across the country in the run up to Christmas, giving away 2,000 present boxes.

Bizarre new lipstick trend leaves makeup lovers divided: 'That is dangerous'
Beauty influencers are always pushing the envelope, but a bizarre new makeup trend has left people all across the globe stunned. TikTok users are now reaching for Sharpie markers as DIY lip liners, sparking both fascination and confusion over the unconventional hack. In June, the trend started to circulate on TikTok after a slew of beauty gurus began trying out try the trick. TikToker Kaitlyn Curtis gave it a go with a dark pink Sharpie - she captured herself drawing around the edge of her lips with the marker, blending out the color before it dried, and topping the look with a gloss. In the caption of her video, she said she was 'actually impressed' by the results. Dozens of people rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts, and viewers seemed divided over the trend. 'I fear that is dangerous,' someone said, while another wrote, 'I'm sure there's other ways to test this out…' 'The way it actually looks good! Amazing,' one person complimented. 'I NEED TO TRY,' a different user enthusiastically wrote. 'Wait but how does this look soooo good!?' another questioned. Another social media star, named Rachel Carlisle, showed herself putting on the Sharpie liner in a now-viral clip shared earlier this week. 'Day two of using a Sharpie as my lip liner because it doesn't budge all day and looks natural,' a text overly read on her video. She blended the marker shade called cabochon coral into her plump lips using her finger, and finished the look with a gloss. Many users in the comment section were all about the trend and claimed they were going to try it for themselves. 'This is outrageous. I'm doing it,' a comment read. 'Recession indicator (this is genius I'm getting one),' someone else shared. Another wrote: 'Ummmmm... this is genius,' while someone else said: 'This is an actual hack.' 'I'm doing this no questions asked the skin doctor gave me the green light [for real],' another user announced. Someone else detailed: 'At first I was like no, but then I was like wait she's on to something.' 'The smell of Sharpie under my nose all day would make me pass out,' one person admitted. Rachel quickly responded to the user, writing: 'You don't smell it at all after it's dry and that's quick!' A few alleged experts also chimed in and shared their thoughts on the trend. 'Skin cancer surgical tech here! Sharpie is fine on [the] skin! It's alcohol based so doesn't harbor bacteria. If anything may dry out the area. Might give this a try,' one wrote. Rachel responded: 'Exactly! Just follow with a pretty moisturizing gloss or balm and it's incredible.' 'Tattoo artist here! We use Sharpie as a tool to sketch out tattoos directly on the skin. This is a great idea. Hope this helps,' another user explained. Others thought the viral new hack was so good, the marker brand should come out with its own makeup line. 'Sharpie is probably going to come out with a lip pencil now lol,' someone humored, while another penned, 'Next up: Sharpie makeup line.' Someone else said: 'Sharpie needs to come out with a makeup line. Imagine your makeup lasting days even with soap and water.' Despite the new beauty trend, Sharpie has previously urged buyers not to use the pen on anything that might touch your mouth. 'While Sharpie markers are AP-certified non-toxic, we do not recommend using them on areas of items that may come in contact with food or the mouth,' Sharpie wrote in response to an inquiry about using Sharpies to label cups. 'Sharpie has not been tested as an oven-proof product, and should not be used anywhere where a consumer could possibly ingest the ink.'

In her latest YouTube vlog, she opened up to fans about an unfortunate mishap on the holiday. Saffron surprised her parents with a yacht trip - which the whole group had been enjoying. Disaster struck when Saffron's vlogging camera accidentally fell into the sea. Speaking to viewers, Josh explained how a member of staff picked up a nearby towel - with the expensive tech slipping and falling overboard. Earlier in the video, Saffron reiterated it was accidental and not the staff member's fault. She said: "It means I've lost all my footage and camera which I've obviously just bought because I got it stolen in the US. "So that's another £1000 camera just gone. But for me, I think I'm so upset because it's every I vlogged this trip, it's before this trip. It's basically all my footage." A scuba team was dove down to try and recover the camera - in the hope its SD Card may be recoverable. Josh later said: "The guy who went down, he saw the anchor and said it was dragging. So, we have moved since we docked. Emotional moment Saffron Barker fights back tears as she opens up on armed car robbery that's left her stranded in America "So the chances of getting the camera are very low." Last month, Saffron had a nightmare experience while she and Josh were visiting the USA. She shared her harrowing experience in a candid TikTok make-up tutorial, explaining the aftermath after men broke into her car. Explaining these men were armed, Saffron said: 'I honestly can't leave the US right now and everything I had with me was completely stolen. "If I'm being honest, this trip has just not gone to plan at all. I've suffered the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.' What was meant to be a fresh start for Saffron and Josh quickly turned into a nightmare. After a difficult period, the couple decided to try and salvage their trip with a road trip from Hollywood to Las Vegas. Renting a Jeep, they set off vlogged their journey. About two hours into the drive, the pair stopped at Peggy Sue's Diner, a nostalgic spot Saffron had visited with her parents many years ago. She admitted: 'We were completely naive. There were lots of cars around, so we didn't think anything bad could happen.' But when they returned to their car after just half an hour inside, they found it completely smashed up. Every single item inside was stolen - including their passports and Saffron's medication. She said tearfully: 'It's not just the material things. It's everything we needed. We had nothing left, no ID, no medication, nothing.' The incident was made worse by the fact the area was busy and yet no one seemed to intervene. Josh added: 'There were tourists everywhere, and apparently this happens almost every day. It's crazy that there are no warning signs.' Despite their shock and devastation, the couple counted their blessings. Saffron said: 'I'm so grateful to be alive. They have guns in America, and something much worse could have happened. We keep telling ourselves that we should be grateful we're still here.' 5 A scuba diver attempted to recover Saffron's camera Credit: YouTube / Saffron Barker

Alesha Dixon surprises London commuters with impromptu rap performance
Alesha Dixon, the former Mis-Teeq star and Strictly Come Dancing judge, left fans in awe after she started rapping in a central London train station in a video that has now gone viral Music fans are begging Alesha Dixon to return to her roots thanks to an iconic reminder of her rapping skills The Britain's Got Talent judge is better known as a TV star these days, but true fans remember her best as one third of garage group Mis-Teeq. And the former Strictly Come Dancing star is more than happy to remind people she still has it. The mum-of-two, 47, gave an impromptu rapping session in busy London streets early this week - leaving fans all saying the same thing following footage shared on TikTok going viral. The remarkable event took place at King's Cross Station, where Alesha stunned onlookers and began spitting bars. Comments flooded in on TikTok, with numerous fans admitting they "never knew" the star had it in her to drop rhymes spontaneously before an audience. "She's showing the younger ones how it's done.", one TikTok user commented. Alesha, who initially rose to fame with the girl group Mis-Teeq, stole the nostalgia-stricken hearts of many fans who reminisced: "This takes me back 20 years and I love it!". "Imagine taking time out to travel to King's Cross, expecting to see a musician performing only to discover Alesha Dixon on the mic," one stunned fan declared, with another raging: "The Mis-Teeq fans would have gone crazy... what is this crowd?" Other social media sleuths have pinpointed exactly which tunes Alesha dished out, with Mis-Teeq aficionados delighted by her selection. One observer noted: "At the start, she's rapping from a Mis-Teeq album track called Nitro, which is on their second album, Eye Candy." "Alesha Dixon is the best MC you're ever going to get, nails it every time. Legend status. No one can do it the way she does." Another fan reminisced: "This is the Alesha I know. Takes me back to my clubbing days!" Alesha graced the stage with Mis-Teeq alongside Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash between 2000 and 2005, with Zena McNally departing the ensemble in 2001. Mis-Teeq might never have snatched the top chart spot, but they soared high with their first album 'Lickin' on Both Sides' peaking at number three. The group's follow-up, 'Eye Candy', also notched a respectable position, hitting number six in the UK charts. Alesha's rendition of their street-side hits could spark chatter among fans longing for a Mis-Teeq reunion, but fans shouldn't hold their breath. While other pop bands from the past like Blue and Steps have reunited after previous breakups, it seems all the Mis-Teeq ladies aren't exactly on friendly terms these days. In January 2021, just three months before the 20th anniversary of Mis-Teeq's debut hit 'Why', it emerged that bandmate Sabrina Washington was planning to sue Alesha and former record label Universal over royalties. It was claimed that Alesha had 'wrongfully' collected royalties from Mis-Teeq's first singles (which representatives for the star denied), with Sabrina reportedly seeking to reclaim some of the money. At the height of the storm, a spokesman for Sabrina stated: "We are unable to comment on ongoing legal proceedings." When the Mirror Online reached out, Alesha's representative was clear-cut in their response: "My only comment on this is that there is no truth in the matter whatsoever." The ruckus wasn't the first discord among Mis-Teeq's members, with Sabrina having been vocal about Alesha's talents in the past, bluntly stating that she "should have stuck to MC-ing because her voice isn't that strong." It was in 2008 that former I'm a Me Out of Here! contestant Sabrina took a jab at Alesha, criticising her vocal prowess post Mis-Teeq's break up. In a biting remark made back in 2008, Alesha's ex-bandmate Sabrina said, "A lot of people say Alesha should have stuck to MC-ing because her voice isn't that strong and I agree. I did a lot of the work in Mis-Teeq,". Addressing her experiences within the group, Sabrina didn't mince words, describing it as 'bittersweet' and sharing how she faced industry prejudice, being told she was "too dark to be on any covers" and that "black women don't sell magazines." While there doesn't appear to be any love lost between Alesha and Sabrina, the Britain's Got Talent gets on better with her other former bandmate, Su-Elise. While on This Morning in 2022, Alesha candidly shared: "I'm exhausted, I'm not gonna lie. I've got new music coming. Music is what I do, it's something that I love." "I don't call it a comeback. In 2023 I'm gonna make it a priority. I'll put something out, probably around April or May. It's a passion project. And I'm independent now so there's no pressure. There won't be a Mis-Teeq reunion anytime soon. I caught up with Su-Elise in Australia. She lives there now. Our babies were playing together. The Mis-Teeq babies!".
