Knockholt Valentine's Day murder suspect named as body found
The body of a man believed to be linked to the Valentine's Day shooting of Lisa Smith has been identified as that of her husband Edward Smith. Edward Smith is suspected of shooting his wife, Lisa Smith, in the car park of the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Kent, on 14 February.A body found in the river near Rainham, Essex, on Friday has now been formally identified by police as Mr Smith, also known as Edvard Stockings, after he was believed to have entered the Thames near the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge in Dartford.An investigation into both deaths will be led by the coroner, Kent Police said.
Mr Smith is alleged to have shot Mrs Smith, 43, from Slough, at about 19:00 GMT before fleeing the scene.Three gunshots were heard on CCTV footage from close to the pub, followed by shouting and screaming.

Country singer Conner Smith fatally strikes 77-year-old woman with his truck in crosswalk, police say
Country singer Conner Smith was involved in a car accident in Nashville Sunday night that left a 77-year-old woman dead, police said. Smith was driving his Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on 3rd Avenue North when he struck Dorothy Dobbins as she was walking in a crosswalk, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said in a news release. The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. CT. Dobbins, who lived nearby, was taken to the hospital, where she died. Smith's attorney confirmed to The Tennessean that the 24-year-old singer "was involved in a car accident that tragically claimed a life." "His heart goes out to Ms. Dobbins' family during this incredibly difficult time. Mr. Smith continues to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation," attorney Worrick G. Robinson said. Authorities said preliminary findings indicate that Smith failed to yield the right of way to the pedestrian. He did not show any signs of impairment, police said. No charges have been filed. Five feared killed in horror school shooting as armed police swarm scene
Elite armed police have raced to a school in Graz, Austria's second largest city, after a gunman opened fire in broad daylight. The BORG Dreierschützengasse school is being evacuated with officers swarming the scene. Austrian special task force Cobra has also been deployed to the horror incident, which unfolded at about 10am local time. There are fears as many as five people may have been killed and multiple people injured, according to local media, and a police spokesperson believes the shooter may be a pupil at the school. Students and teachers are believed to be among the victims. Federal police have been deployed to the scene, according to local reports. Cobra units - armed special forces part of the Federal Ministry of the Interior - have rushed to a community administered hospital nearby the shooting site. At keast five people may have died following the school shooting this morning. Police rushed to the scene at around 10am local time (9am GMT) this morning, in the Dreierschützengasse neighborhood, with a local spokesperson telling national broadcaster ORF early on that one person may have died. Fritz Grundnig said one person "possibly also dead" following the shooting.
