Meet actress, who was once a yoga teacher, became first Indian actress to give Rs 500 crore film, is now..., her name is...
We honestly never know when life is going to take a turn. Everything can be gone and vice versa in the blink of an eye. We will be telling you a similar tale of an actress who once made a quiet living teaching yoga. Today, her films have grossed over Rs 2400 crore worldwide, and her journey from fitness to fame feels nothing short of cinematic.
We are talking about the Baahubali: The Beginning's Devasena, aka Anushka Shetty !
Let us tell you that before she lit up the big screen, Anushka was a certified yoga instructor, trained under Bharat Thakur. And, as we said earlier, we never know what's going to happen next. Fate took a sharp turn when director Meher Ramesh spotted her during a yoga session.
Impressed by her calm charisma, he introduced her to filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, who cast her in the 2005 film Super. While the film didn't make waves, it was the quiet beginning of an extraordinary career.
Before doing Baahubali: The Beginning, her early years saw a string of performances in films like Mahanandi and Arundhati, and then the real turning point came with a call from SS Rajamouli.
Cast as Devasena in the Bahubali franchise, Anushka not only delivered a performance that resonated globally but also became the face of strength, elegance, and rebellion in Indian cinema. Baahubali's franchise grossed Rs 2400 crore!
Together, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion grossed Rs 2400 crore worldwide, placing her in a rare club of female leads associated with historic box office numbers.
But if you think this is it, hold on. Anushka is far from done. Known for choosing roles that stand apart from the crowd, she's now gearing up for her upcoming action film Ghati, in which she's seen in an entirely different, never-seen-before avatar. The teaser alone has created a stir among fans. She also has the Malayalam horror thriller Kattanar in her pipeline. Anushka Shetty's net worth
Now with a net worth of Rs 140 crore, Anushka Shetty's journey is proof that destiny often rewards patience, talent, and a little bit of daring.

Ballerina box office prediction day 1: Ana de Armas, Keanu Reeves' John Wick spinoff may earn around Rs 8 crore in India
Ballerina box office prediction day 1: Ballerina, which hit the screens in India on June 13, has created a fair deal of buzz among fans with its stylish trailer. The fact that it is set in the same universe as Keanu Reeves' John Wick films too has added to the curiosity around it. These factors are likely to help it open to a good response at the Indian box office. Ballerina box office prediction day 1: A good star on the cards Ana de Armas is in the limelight because of her latest film Ballerina, which arrived in theatres in India today. According to Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, the action thriller is set to collect between Rs 5 crore to Rs 8 crore on the first day. 'It is a spinoff of John Wick. Reeves' film is popular here. Therefore, I see it grossing between Rs 5 crore and 8 crore. It will do well in the South especially as it faces no competition,' he told Indiatimes. Ballerina is unlikely to face competition from Housefull 5, which was released last week, as both films cater to different audiences. The former is meant for an urban youth audience. The latter, on the other hand, caters more the family audiences. Thug Life too won't be a problem for Ballerina as it has failed to impress even Kamal Haasan's ardent fans. About Ballerina Ballerina is an action thriller directed by Len Wiseman. It revolves around the life of an assassin and is a sidequel to . John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. It stars Ana de Armas, Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, Keanu Reeves, and the late Lance Reddick.
